I'm probably the only one who never noticed that after his therapist says they cut their fundings and they are not gonna see each other again, arthur mumbles a very faint 'fuck'... which apart from being very erotic I found very sad because he looks so defeated... In a way, he knows this is a very bad thing for him. I know that the Joker was beginning to rise by then and he was merely starting to accept it, but somehow, I think arthur was a little afraid of what he would have become, and he would have slowly lost all control, without the medications.
