• Call me Nero. I am 20 years old.

• This is an old blog that I repurposed to share the image masks that I make. I do take requests at this time!

• No need to credit, but if you'd like to share what you do with them, I'd love to see!

• I have no set DNI. I don't want pedos/zoos/etc interacting but I am not capable of preventing them from using my masks, so I don't care about it.

Base Info.

• I am arguably an awful person with bad opinions. I am medicated and in therapy to be better, but please do not get upset with me if I have an objectively bad take.

• I am a traumagenic DID system of 10k+ parts. I will not be signing off, although you may ask who is fronting.

• I most likely will only post image masks here.

• If you see something you made that you'd like credit for, please ask me politely and I'll add it.

Request Info.

• I will get to requests when I get to them. I work part-time and I'm in college so I don't have much energy or free time, but the more open-ended the request is the more likely I'll have motivation for it!

• I'd prefer if you specify a base, if you don't I'll freestyle it. I'd prefer more specific aspects (spiders, skulls, pawprints, text, etc) but I can make do with whatever.

• I will likely make at least two versions per request depending on how simple it is, just because it's hard for me to tell when something actually looks good.

• I would greatly appreciate it if you give me some feedback back on your requests when they're posted, but it's not required! I want to improve my abilities at making image masks and feedback is the easiest way for me to know if I'm doing something right or wrong! I will redo your request if you dislike it, provided you give some specifications of what you'd like changed!

how do you make clipping masks in general. I have ideas on what kinds of masks I wanna make but I don't know how to make them on ibis paint.

get a canvas. make a shape. new layer or image. set it to invert. use the "clear white" feature. congrats its an image mask.

sorry for the shitass reply. ive answered this five times now and it refuses to post. and if it is posting, its not showing up for me. whatever.

theres better tutorials out there. i taught myself how to do it without help. try youtube if you need. its basically just using the invert blending mode and fucking around until it looks nice.

heyyyy dumb question but how to actually use the masks you make with our own pics? i love them and want to use but idk how to

save the mask & image u want 2 use! i use ibis but the main steps should be relatively similar for other apps?

open a new canvas/image/whatever using an imported picture (the mask)

import another picture (ur image)

im using an image of my cat for this. personally i like to adjust the image to make most of it fit in the canvas to make sure i can get it the way i want at a later step. then clip it to the bottom image

which will make it look like this. i like to go back and readjust the picture to get a better angle/placement

then just save & use !!

again, just fucking around. one example with colouring, one without. ordered from bottom 2 top. my layers under the cut. i honestly dont care if this is ugly. i know it is. its for fun not for serious

played around. tried making a simple layered mask. the simplest thing ive ever done. might fuck around and try a more complicated one

in order from top to bottom. two examples, second doesnt have the noise layer. my layers & shit under cut in case u r confused

this is just the colouring i use 4 them. do whatever colouring u would like 2.

also if u read this far. i am thinking about. possibly opening requests. i do not know yet tho.

absolutely, i believe this is the one youre asking for? !! im also gonna take this opportunity to make everyone aware that i take the bases from pinterest, and edit them to match my needs, or if theyre super simple, i make them myself! i dont claim any credit for any base images i share
