Honestly, we haven't even scratched the surface here in Chiang Mai yet. It's day 10 and we are feeling more settled and getting our bearings of the city though. After clearing up some projects, we are setting up more time and space for creativity and relaxation with our writing, photos and videos, plus other endeavors. I feel much more relaxed and in flow here. Stress melted away almost immediately and now that the initial challenges of moving to a new city on the other side of the world have worn off, I'm sinking deeper into a constant calm. A few days ago I read and completed a book I found in a cafe within a few hours. It may seem simple, but based on my life for the last while it was revolutionary for me. It's something I honestly haven't had on a consistent basis in Vancouver as the pressures were so high from my environment and myself. Yet with experience and a different perspective, I know better now. A clear head and calm spirit is where the best work comes from. Life is meant to be lived from that state. Unfortunately too much of our modern society attempts to pull us away from that, so it's important to take time to reset. Where are you at right now? Do you need to reset? #insightsofbryce #newlynomads http://ift.tt/2t9CcB3
