home sweet home.

ah... It's been a while since i've been on this blog. I think I'll turn it into like doodle and thoughts blog since I have a new art blog I'm fixing up. long story short. had unbelievable pain enter my life, encountered great obstacles, gained great responsibility became a guardian and more of a parental figure to my dear little sister, got my shit together, teamed up with my best friend and got a new place with him for my little sister and his mom and we both provide as a unified family I'm exultant. welp time to keep working hard, keep connecting with my friends, take care of my fam and enjoy the breeze.

Lmfao. I keep deleting my texts because I have no space. It's fine. Uhm, I don't mind meeting sometime soon. Don't reply to this, just text me I guess. I barely go out anymore, because of Zachary although school starts the 28th. I need friend time. And funny message.

Hey how are you? How's college life and what not? sorry if you've tried to text me. I lost my phone so I'm trying to get a new one which sucks good thing is I'm due for a phone upgrade so that's a look up!

A New Chapter.

Yesterday I finished up my tenure with Groundswell a great Mural company that does a lot of community work with the youth. I've had an amazing 3 years there and I'm  honored to have met and worked with all the amazing staff, youth and artists there. I've had my times and struggles there, and I've even had a falling out and walked out. But I didn't want to tarnish what I've done there so I decided to return one more time to work on a final mural project. I'm glad I did it. the banquet festival was amazing 

But now it's time to move forward. onto the future, my contract may be up but my final hurrah will be October 14th at the 18th annual Art auction benefit. where I'll be donating a piece to give back to groundswell as well as reach out and work with some of the board of directors on some new prospects. I'm very excited for that gala event. I'm more excited for the next 3 art shows I'll be featured in, I've got to get to work on my pieces asap! I won't reveal the art auction piece until the day of the show. however the next pieces for my line up of shows I'll post on my new blog. I'll even do some sketches and keep up to date. a new chapter begins!

Finished my Auction piece now getting back in the zone

I managed to finish my Auction Piece this weekend, I'm in love with it, After being in a lengthy months long art block I came up with something gorgeous. I'm so tempted to post pics of it up online but patience is virtue. I'll wait till perhaps a week before the Auction show to reveal it, which is in October.

I'm current;y working on my web comics which will be linked to my new Art blog,and on this one as well, Its rough trying to stay on the ball. However, once you do get back in the flow you get in the zone. 

Guess I'm trying to get in the zone now.

Gonna end up priortizing this blog (again)

I'm terrible at blog management, but I realize I'm being put in a position soon to show off my work more fluently and really create some stronger connections so I'd like to show them something good. My instagram is more like my visual sketchbook. so I'll fix this one up and use my private tumblr more for blogging nonsensical stuff.
