Portal - a passion for disturbance
Portal: New Writing Collective presents an evening of six unique performances centred around a single theme: ‘A Passion for Disturbance’, created for this debut scratch event.
Six very different approaches to the same theme; each writer has selected 15 minutes of their work inspired by the theme. From re-imaginings of Greek mythology, poetic lyricism, the eve of the Brexit referendum, a touch of the absurd, lots of humour and a dash of romance, this is a great evening of new theatre by local writers not to be missed; come and be part of the journey of new work made in Dorset!
Portal is working in collaboration with the Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts, to develop a platform for new theatre writing in the Dorset area. This event is also supported by ArtfulScribe, a new writing agency working across Dorset and Hampshire, and is part of Bournemouth Emerging Arts Fringe. https://www.lighthousepoole.co.uk/whats-on/2019/a-passion-for-disturbance
