“oh, white on the shirt, too. i think that’d look good, don’t you?” he asked. “gotcha. makes sense, but i’d pay up front if you needed it for supplies or whatever,” he shrugged. he scrunched his face as she ruffled his hair and laughed. “ain’t as easy as it used to be, is it?” he said, bending down so she could better reach his head. “there, that better?” he laughed.
