Ashlyn Bellamy Moodboard 2/?> Unsaid words that would never be spoken.
Ashlyn sat in the darkest corner of the Hecate cabin, unable to process everything. Mal was dead. She didn’t get the chance to help her sister who had looked broken in the infirmary. Seeing the blood that covered her sister’s body was heartbreaking. But she knew no-one else could see except for Chiron for him to deal with the body. She had used a spell to make everyone without her permission not to come near her sister’s room until the body disappeared.
In just under a year she had lost her father and a sister. She felt guilty that she had done nothing to stop her, and the guilt grew. Ashlyn had never truly bonded with Mal like she had with Jo, and it was hard to know that she would never be able to ever.
Mal was dead.
She was worried? Mallory quietly thought to herself, her bitterness swelling up inside of her. If she was so worried, why didn’t she fret or go looking for her? And whilst her conscience was telling the girl that Ashlyn probably didn’t know or didn’t see or had thought she’d just left camp, the bitterness stayed for a few more minutes. And as heavy and as long as they were, the daughter of Hecate turned her head to take in her sister’s expression and dry lips parted. “…Soh–” Her voice cracked from lack of use, “..Sorry.”
Ashlyn sighed. “Mal, you don’t need to apologise. I’m just worried. I should be apologising to you.” She said, trying her hardest not to cry from how broken her sister looked. “I should have realised you were in danger, but instead I just thought you left camp. And I was too preoccupied with my design work, when I should have been doing spells to find you. I’m so sorry Mal. I’m sorry I failed to be a sister and protect you.” Tears started to fall from Ashlyn’s eyes. She felt so guilty knowing that her sister was hurt and she didn’t do anything to help her. “I’m so sorry.”
The familiar scent of pizza filled her senses, though Mal didn’t budge an inch. She had no desire to eat despite her body telling her to do so. Only eating the set amount of ambrosia a day, she’d lost considerable weight. Though whilst the comforting tones of her sister reassured Mal that her visitor was not male, the girl simply remained silent for a few more minutes before shaking her head gently and only slightly, eyes glued straight ahead.
Ashlyn bit her lip as she watch Mal shake her head. She looked so fragile and skinny compared to the girl Ashlyn grew to know. “You don’t have to talk about it to me Mal, but you need to eat. I don’t want you to get sick.” It was getting harder for Ashlyn to talk, just seeing how broken her sister was reminded her of how her father looked before he died. “Mal, please talk to me. Just say something.”
After being treated in the infirmary for her wounds, Mallory was prescribed bed Rest. Not for physical healing. The stab wounds would heal quickly thanks to the demigods who’d had her in their charge. It was for the mental healing. She hadn’t uttered a word since her return. The only noise coming from the daughter of Hecate’s lips were the screams that came side by side with the fresh nightmares each night. So, even as somebody entered her room, Mallory kept her gaze on the TV, not looking at whoever it was, her trembling only increasing.
Ashlyn was worried after hearing that her sister had come back to camp seriously injured. She had been in contact with the healers the whole time, but spent some time in the cabin thinking about what happened. Finally Ashlyn got the courage to step into her sister’s room, she placed a box of pizza down on the side table and sat in the chair next to Mal. Ashlyn was quiet for a few minutes, noticing her sister’s trembling. What had been so horrible that made Mal so scared? “Mal? Do you want some food?” She spoke softly.
@bellamyxashlyn: when you've been cooped up in your room making clothes you realise you're now eighteen since your birthday was on yesterday on Halloweeen.
“I dunno. I’ve not been in the country the past week. Unless you’ve pissed them off, I doubt it. James ain’t the kind of kid to do that and neither is the uh. The blonde one. I forgot her name. And I don’t think I’ve met any of my other siblings. You sure it wasn’t a Zeus kid? They can short circuit this stuff.”
“I haven’t pissed anyone off to my knowledge. I’ve been making clothes the past week. But Jacob, could you please fix it? I really need them to work since I need to reply to emails and book a fashion gig in Milan and Tokyo. You’ll be a lifesaver and I’ll offer my magic services to you for pranks and that. I’m desperate right now because it’ll be my first fashion show where they are my clothes and not my father’s.”
another meme: platonic relationships (5/50) → spencer and caleb (pretty little liars) “You know, when all of this is over and we are safe and sound, I need to talk about bottling you. ‘Essence of best boyfriend’, we’re gonna make a fortune.”
“Nah, m’not doing anythin’ right now. What’s up?”
“I’m curious to know if any of your siblings are being asses to me for some strange reason as all my electronical devices are not working with the internet or my texts aren’t going through. I prefer to find out who so I can give them a pig’s nose for a day.”
She couldn’t help but smile, running away from her sister. “I don’t know what that means! But I’m sure it was something lovely about me!”
“I’m going to turn you into a toy for Phil and Ceasar!” She yelled.
“I can’t do much with them. Showing up some place looking to sell more than a couple gems would look suspicious. But someone else might have a better use for it.”
“Not if you say your family is in the jewel business. I know a few families so I could help you out. But thanks. It will help enchanting some of the weapons.”
“Let’s not be too hasty… Remember I am your sister, and you love me.” And with that, Jo turned on her heel, and fled the cabin commons.
“Je ne donne pas une baise!” Ashlyn shouted as she ran after her sister.
“This is your wake up call, and shower. Really you should be thanking me.”
“Run.”
“Jo! You have two seconds before I kill you.”
“Sort of new, I guess.”
“Right. Need help finding your cabin?”
“Since most of them claim to be so classy, I’m sure they fully understand what if feels like to have pain in the ass.”
“Probably, but there are other people who are more classy. I’m guessing you’re new as Aphrodite kids don’t do that to the campers who have been here a while.”
