Stopping in tracks heading back to her little spot she seen the girl a few centimeters away from her and she laughed a little at how she was acting before deciding to speak up “Yeah sorry to break it to you but um…there’s no service here.” she pursed her lips together not knowing how the conversation would go.

Ashlyn dropped her arm in frustration, her lower lip forming a frown. She looked at the girl she didn't notice at first, but then shrugged, "You can't deny that it was worth a shot. I'm sure my parents are worried about me anyways." She frantically looked back at her phone screen and saw the No Service sign in the upper left corner of her phone.

Being startled by a voice Piper looked around for anyone or anything. Struggling to see through the dimness of the mall she saw a girl a couple feet away. “Hello?” She called trying not to sound sleepy or disoriented. Not having talked to anyone since she entered the mall, she was curious who this was and what group they were from. Clearing her throat she said, “I-I’m of no harm and I haven’t seen anyone in a couple of days, but what are you doing in this part of the mall? Aren’t you supposed to be with your group?” She stated quietly as she slowly inched her way towards the unfamiliar girl.

Ashlyn whipped her head around to see a faint outline of what seemed to be a woman around her age, the slim figure silhouetted by the light shining from behind her. "Hello!" Ashlyn called out in hopes of talking to someone for the first time in a while. She approached the young girl, "I'm of no harm either, but I'm just trying to find some signal out here. I broke off my group in hopes of getting to signal but there's no hope."

Ashlyn stepped out of the shadows holding her phone up in the air. She stomped her foot on the ground in frustration, "I can't believe I can't even contact my parents."
