I think the Bay ending of the first game is the better ending.
I will start this with the disclaimer that I don't hate the Bae ending, Chloe is fine and if you saved her then that's chill, you do you boo.
That being said, I personally think Bay is better.
I almost wrote this like a persuasive essay. The "firstly ___. Secondly ___" bullshit of some of my review posts.
We gonna start with the main reason why the endings are up for debate with the trolley problem.
Save one vs save many. People will always be like "Chloe is my bestie, my boo, she's more important than everyone else" and some people I can understand... Nathan, David, Jefferson but none of those fuckers are in town when the storm hits, Nathan's dying and crying on the phone to Max, Jefferson and David are in the bunker dark room... everyone else is fine and deserves saving.
Sure people like Zach and the other jocks might be assholes, Victoria might need to get the stick out her ass, Warren might be a creep but none of them deserve to die because of one person being saved repeatedly from death.
I love Chloe, she's a rebellious little shit but I love her and I can see wanting to save her but at the cost of hundreds of lives? Innocent people? yeah no, Max would be fucked up even after a lot of therapy from that...
Not to mention, in double exposure, Chloe and Max drift apart/break up anyway! She saved her and killed hundreds just for nothing! I don't know much about Reunion, I've only seen a few clips of like... green haired Chloe in max's place at the university, so I won't speak on any of that, but she's out of the picture in double exposure meaning saving her multiple times just killed hundreds and traumatised Max for someone who throws her away (I believe their split happened through some toxic means, probably isn't canon but idc).
Outside of the morality of trading hundreds of innocents for one girl you happen to love, sacrificing Chloe saves her too.
During the week you spend with her, you learn some fucked up stuff. Rachel is dead. Before she died rachel either;
Best case: Cheated on Chloe with Frank.
Worst case: Was assaulted/kept close with drugs by Frank.
Neither is good and that hurts Chloe. So does learning about David's cameras and every other revelation, not to mention the stuff with Nathan and Chloe (I only remember her talking about him crawling towards her with a camera and her kicking a lamp... I don't remember if finding Nathan's phone was part of that conversation).
Yes there were good memories from their time together but those don't outweigh the guilt and sadness that happens after they sacrifice hundreds for Chloe to live.
Chloe was meant to die, the universe keeps trying to fix the error by killing Chloe in multiple ways - the train, the gun she was playing with, ect. Saving her from her expiry date didn't do any good, at least when you sacrifice her, she does not knowing of Rachel's fate, not knowing anything about David being weird or having to remember what Nathan possibly did to her... Max has the good memories and that is all that matters.
Obviously I know Reunion follows double exposure so Chloe is alive again with all the memories because the timelines combined - which was definitely a cop out to bring Chloe back for the fans but whatever - but I don't care, Chloe dying is the better choice and I will die on that hill.
No hate to pricefielders and those who will always choose bae over bay, this wasn't a post trying to convince, I just wanted to write because I can.
Hyde's from Wednesday aren't inherently evil but Tyler is.
I saw two comments on a Tiktoker I follow's video about Tyler. One was about how Tyler doesn't like killing and that he's not bad... and the other was about how Hydes aren't evil.
I've possibly made a post about the first topic, about Tyler enjoying what he does as the Hyde... So i'm hopefully going to talk mostly about hyde's in general.
Hydes in Wednesday are different to their source material.
Jekyll makes Hyde out of his negative traits in some versions while in others Hyde is a way for Jekyll to do bad things without it being on him... from what I understand at least.
I made a post about Jackson Jekyll and got it explained that Hyde isn't evil but instead the 'bad' parts of Jekyll in the same way Holt is insufferable and kinda an asshole compared to Jackson. Thank you to that person, I have bare minimum knowledge about this piece of fiction.
Hydes in Wednesday take a more literal approach, they give people a monstrous form which is fuelled mostly by negative emotions and the commands of a master. We see it mostly in the hatred/anger that Tyler feels towards Wednesday or Enid. He transforms in the church because of Enid, in Willow Hill he tries to because of black Wolf Enidsday with the body swap, after Wednesday escapes the crypt he transforms there based on both negative feelings for Wednesday and orders from Laurel.
Tyler is bad because of three factors.
Attention: His father basically neglecting him lead him to look for attention, which was where he turned to being a bully because negative attention is still attention and he wanted his father to pay attention to him.
Lack of information: Because he didn't know that there was a chance he was a Hyde, he had no way of preventing what happened to him. He had no way to keep himself safe and the two people who were meant to keep him safe was absent and 'dead' (Locked away in the willow hill basement).
Laurel: Her grooming is why he is unlocked as a Hyde in the first place and the reason he kills due to her commands.
These three things lead someone who developed violent tendencies - its canon that he physically assaulted Xavier then ruined his mural - into being an easy target for any older person giving him parental like attention and allowed that groomer to make his Hyde state seem like whatever she wanted to keep him as her pet.
Tyler was bad already before being unlocked with being a bully but after that he was just given a different form and strength to release his anger and other negative emotions which ended in many people dying and no guilt from him.
In a universe where Donovan wasn't absent, where he didn't turn to drinking and burying himself in his work and actually raised his son after Francoise was pronounced dead, Tyler wouldn't be a bad person. This is an easy fact to prove with my above statements, if Donovan had given Tyler attention and love, he probably wouldn't have been a bully and then wouldn't have been as easily swayed by Thornhill giving him affection.
Maybe his Hyde would have shown up at military school (still dont know if thats canon and where tyler was sent to stop being a bully... its canon in my brain) on some blood test allowing him to learn what he was, if he was even sent there still (Which could have just been something Donovan did himself so wanted Tyler to do as well... or to keep him outta town when a serious case came up and he wanted his son safe), or some real stressful situation like with his mom and her post-partum depression? hormone changes? I just know it was after Tyler was born... If Donovan had a conversation with his son about the possibility of him being a Hyde and set himself as the master through safe means just in case, none of this would have happened... or at least it would be very different.
Tyler wouldn't have been groomed as easily and manipulated into enjoying being violent and shitty again. Laurel would have had no new information for him, nothing to make Tyler trust her and therefore would have either failed, died or had to force him to kill.
In this universe, Tyler had no prior violence, he wasn't a bully. Maybe he was just an athletic kid, he had a healthy place to put any anger or grief he had through working out and pushing himself in his sport. This would mean he wouldn't enjoy the killing Laurel forces him to do - assuming she still manages to awaken him or take control of his Hyde via the plant serum and forced submission - and meaning he feels guilty for his actions.
After being sent to willow hill, he'd probably try to heal, he'd do what Fairburn wanted in terms of therapy and talk about what was going on, they'd find a way to give Tyler a new master or make his father his master again and slowly test him around people in willow hill during free time. The scene with Wednesday wouldn't have been him getting angry and trying to transform to harm her, it would be him apologising and feeling genuinely bad for what he did, he'd feel upset that his dad is dead and be without a master again until Fairburn can find someone suitable for him, Wednesday might accept the apology but never see him romantically again (though wyler would be able to come from this version of events).
When all of willow hill security goes down, Tyler wouldn't try to harm Wednesday, he'd just flee. Probably go to his home and barricade himself inside, maybe he'd hide in his room in one of his dad's jackets and mourn that loss. The rest of season 2 could stay similar with Francoise finding him and making her his new master to allow him to stay safe but then Issac shows up and does all this bad shit. Maybe he'd still try to hurt Enid because of anger he has towards her but wouldn't be able to. He'd feel horrible for Issac burying Wednesday alive and capturing thing and Pugsley. He'd accept being taken away from Jericho and being able to start fresh with Capri and would enjoy time with the Hyde pack because no one would know him, he'd be able to be with people like him and maybe find someone for him there.
I already failed my hope of talking mostly about hyde's in general... this is a Tyler drabble - is that what this is? an imagine? count this as my first official Tyler fic ig :)
Now onto Hyde's in general.
As said at the start, Hyde's are people with a monstrous form which is fuelled mostly by negative emotions and the commands of a master.
The actions of a Hyde depend entirely on how they are as a person and who their master is.
Tyler's is explained before the little imagine au thingy.
A Hyde who is violent normally but has a good master isn't going to kill without being told to and would probably have other ways to get the violent urges out - like sport or being given time in their Hyde form to hunt a specific animal for their master.
A Hyde who isn't violent but has a bad master would result in a really guilty Hyde and possibly one who ends their own life to be free of the torment.
A Hyde who isn't violent with a good master is a perfect pairing and the Hyde would probably never use their form, maybe only using it when their master is in danger.
If I made a Hyde oc, they wouldn't have to be a murderous beast unless I want them to be.
Hyde's are a interesting monster and in other circumstances, Wednesday would probably love to be around one to study it and learn everything she can about them.
The writers just failed to pull through and are now making it everyone's problem. They're trying to make people like their golden boy Tyler when the show is about Wednesday... I made a whole post about a spinoff they could do for Tyler (Here)
Anyways, thanks for reading ig, if you disagree... be nice please.
It's pride month... when I write this... and i've been reminded of one of my favourite movies.
The half of it.
If ya haven't seen it, go watch it. Its a cute movie about a quiet shy lesbian who is crushing on one of the popular girls, a jock seeks her out for help wooing the same girl and shit happens.
Spoilers ahead!!!!
After seeing the kiss between Aster and Ellie again, I think it would be great if we got a sequal.
It'd be called 'The other half' and would be set 4 years after the first one - technically its been 6 irl but who cares.
At the end of the movie, Ellie is leaving for college and her and Aster have an argument/conversation that leads to Ellie running back and kissing Aster in the middle of the street and saying 'see you in four years' before running off again while Aster smiles like that was the only kiss that matters to her.
This sequel would be Ellie coming back from college and returning to her small town of Suquamish. There could be sad reasons or it could be just a general want to return. Her dad could have passed on, could be sick or just need assistance at home... or Ellie just wants to chill because the city was a lot.
While she's back in town, she visits places that have decent memories and sees people from her grade married with kids or with successful businesses in the town or hears rumours of affairs and stuff about them... Within those people are Paul Munsky and Aster Flores.
Munsky is still working in town, took over the family business when his parents got too busy with other duties or couldn't work as hard anymore. He's got a girlfriend who makes him happy and maybe they have a baby on the way. He and Ellie talk and there are some apologies about events from the first movie and laughing about some of the dumb fuck ups Paul did while failing to woo Aster.
Then there's Aster. She sees her a few times with family or friends so she doesn't try talking to her despite really wanting to. When they're alone, they keep missing one another, one entering a store moments before the other leaves
Eventually Ellie is back where she was in the first film, working the train tracks when Aster finds her (after a train passes so the distraction doesn't endanger anyone) and they have a small talk that's kinda awkward. They talk about Ellie's college years and everything she experienced, they talk about how Aster broke up with the guy she was with in high school and focused on her art/writing/whatever she wanted to pursue. Aster eventually is called away before anything more could happen.
Somehow Aster gets Ellie's number and texts her to meet by the lake/pond thing from the first movie and despite the want not to possibly be murdered in the woods, Ellie goes.
They have another awkward conversation while relatively undressed. Aster is the one hopelessly pining over Ellie this time because she's been unable to stop thinking about Ellie after their kiss, counting down the time till she'd return. She'd waited four years for her to return and she doesn't ruin her chance, she confessed and its cute and they kiss... possibly be more than just the one.
They are forced to keep it quiet due to the religious nature of their small town but they make it work, they find ways to spend time and be a couple without the eyes of the town on them and its perfect for them.
Maybe they moved away together, maybe it ends with them being happy and Ellie's dad accepting them after catching them holding hands or kissing or something. It would have to have a good ending.
Please... please, the first movie is so good, I just want an equally as good sequel to follow and give me more of Aster and Ellie together.
So I had the insane urge to make something in person recently, its rare that I actually have motivation and dont have to force myself to do something...
This is the result
It's a hand painted on canvas piece of sun and moon from fnaf for my sister since she really likes this character... and I missed her birthday
I also got her a eclipse glow in the dark pop, its what sparked the painting.
It took me 3 days because of paint having to dry and shit
She and her friend really liked it, hearing her say it was "so cool" and "really good" made me smile more than I have in a while...
I dont know if this is canon or a headcanon or a theory or what but I had the idea and now you have to suffer with it too
I saw a tiktok edit with the "lord im one, lord im two" sound and it was Cara and Stanley.
It was sad... obviously.
Anyway, in both the show and the book Pip is distraught over Stanley's death despite the fact she barely knows the man.
In the book she was beefing with him at first and then he apologised and started being better. In the show he was just some guy she'd never met until trying to get evidence against max but was a decent dude.
Obviously it's a lot of guilt over being the reason hes dead since she lead Charlie to finding who child Brunswick was and couldn't save him and his blood is on her hands.
I think there's another reason she was so guilt stricken and broken... She sees too many similarities between Stanley and Cara.
Think about it... Both of them:
Have dad's who did horrible shit; Stanley's abducted and murdered 6 kids. Cara's fucked a minor, hurt her that caused her death, killed the girls boyfriend to frame him, kidnapped a random girl and kept her in the attic.
Feel the weight of their father's actions and are judged so harshly; Stanley didn't have a choice not to go along with his dad's shit or else he'd die. Cara gets assumed to have known about her father's actions when she had no clue.
Just want to live their lives and get past the problems their dad's caused but aren't able; Stanley dies, he'd gotten 2 chances to start fresh away from his dad and people wanted to ruin that. Cara has to hear the whispers and see the looks she gets, ends up trying to do drugs and drown everything out with alcohol or shutting herself away in her house.
It's clear that Pip loves Cara (whether you view that as platonically like in canon or romantically for funs, it doesn't matter) and after finding out Stanley was Child Brunswick, he mind started to connect his experiences to Cara's, maybe not on purpose or consciously but its there, and she probably imagined all of this happening to Cara... being hunted down by people online, being forced to change identities and the paranoia of looking over your shoulder everywhere you go, dying because of actions you didn't commit... It made the guilt she feels after everything worse.
And this all made the sadness I already felt after season 2 worse...
So I've really lacked when it comes to making stuff for Pride, lack of motivation and whatnot but I did something this time and i'm kinda proud that I got it done tbh... even if I used some bases I found.
So, Happy Pride from the characters in 'The Perfection in Chaos' and from me... I know its the second last day of June, i'm just glad I got it out in June
So I watched your fault London a couple days ago, I know I didn't make a most about my fault but we get one for this one.
I only watch these movies for Asha (as any fan would, i've watched some weird shit for actors I enjoy...), Matt just happened to be a nice bonus.
There are so many problems and its entirely with the story and nothing to do with the acting - they are doing amazing - or the production of this film... the story just annoys me and i know its on purpose.
I didn't watch the Spanish ones, I haven't read the books and don't plan to... this is just my judgement based on what i've seen and a little bit of what I read on Reddit.
Firstly, the lack of communication between Nick and Noah is really weird, like I get the miscommunication is the entire conflict but I don't really like that trope (I say that, I may use it in some of my fics...).
Like he loves Noah and yet keeps him knowing Briar and her hatred of him a secret.
He doesn't immediately tell her about the trap at the race as soon as he finds out or while he's riding beside her, instead he tries to tell her to pull over.
He hides the celebratory drinking with Sofia a secret until she finds it herself, Noah would have been less upset if he'd told her immediately.
He didn't say anything about the jealousy over Micheal when Noah might have distanced if he laid out his feelings for her.
The whole plot would have been way different if they'd communicated like a healthy couple.
Noah's jealousy over Sofia leading to telling their dad about their relationship... like girl, I get not liking your boyfriend being set up with another woman but he is also legally your step-bro... you have to know its weird and has to be dealt with delicately.
The whole cheating thing is dumb. Nick knows Briar hates his guts and will do anything to hurt him, she picks up his call and tells him that Noah is happy and dating Michael and he just... believes her??
And instead of talking to Noah being like 'hey, Briar told me you and Micheal were together, wtf?', he goes and flirts and hits on his coworker?
Like yes they were on a 'break' but it wasn't a break up and Noah wouldn't have ignored 'hey Briar is spreading shit about you' kinda texts!
And then, because he sees Micheal talking to Noah, he decides to kiss Sofia... in public... where Noah would see it... bro wtf!
I've read that apparently the original book/movie has Nick a lot worse and is horrible to Noah in the last one but... I really hope he isn't in the London one.
Briar needs to fall down the stairs and never get up. I understand being mad at someone for cheating on you - dunno if thats even real - but hurt him a different way, hire someone to beat him up or something, don't hurt someone else to hurt him, that's fucked up.
I don't care how other people view what happened with Micheal and Noah, he drugged her. He gives her tea we didn't see him make, they 'hook up' and she wakes up entirely disoriented and confused in his bed the next morning and leaves before he wakes up.
When Nick visits Micheal later, he puts the beer handed to him aside, he doesn't trust Micheal and the bitch said something to piss Nick off enough for him to beat him up till his knuckles were bloody and bruised.
I bet Micheal was bragging to Nick about fucking Noah.
Even in the slight, small little chance he didn't drug her, he still took advantage of her. Noah was in a really vulnerable state, she was heartbroken and needed a friend - realistically she needed Jenna but she wasn't there. Instead of being a good friend and giving Noah a shoulder to cry on, he makes moves on Noah that leads to kissing and sex... its gross either way.
I love Jenna man, she is the only good person in this franchise and is the only person who's actually on Noah's side.
Jenna has a normal reaction to her boyfriend gambling their stuff away (money and the gym), she communicates with Lion and is by Noah's side when she can be.
With that, Lion and Jenna are the healthiest couple in the show. They have their problems but they work it out, They don't just rush and fight and scream, they take time, calm down and talk like adults. I'm glad they're happy... honestly i'd watch movies from their perspective, their problems... it'd be less all over the place and concerning then Noah and Nick.
All 'n all, pretty good movies with the weirdest plot... if they took away the step siblings bit - even though they try to make sure you forget that they are - the movie would be so much better... and less weird to explain to people what you're watching.
A really odd Wednesday Au idea I've had for a long ass time
This idea has been in my drafts for way too long and and its really stupid but its my brand of stupid.
Enjoy whatever this is...
:)
So there is this franchise that is stupid and entirely cringe but in a way that comes back around to being entertaining if you can get past the cringe.
Z-O-M-B-I-E-S
The Disney series where a white girl tries to find out what minority group she's part of and where the main love interest has beef with her wig (kinda valid tho of Zed).
These movies are so dumb and yet so entertaining for me and I don't know why... maybe I just like looking at Milo Manheim because that man is so fine.
This idea came to my head after the fourth movie came out and I watched it, dawn of the vampires.
My brain connected it with my comfort series and now this exists.
There was a time where I was gonna rewrite each movie with Wednesday as the main character just done with all the singing and meeting different outcasts but I have like 5 fics going on already, this would be too much.
W-E-D-N-E-S-D-A-Y 1
The first Z-O-M-B-I-E-S movie is humans vs Zombies that were created from lime soda... somehow... Addison meets a zombie, sings a love song with him immediately and then convinces people to give them a chance and only when Zed is benefiting the school with his football skills is when they're allowed to be people.
So, the first for this would be normies verses human outcasts. Regular people discriminating against people with powers until one girl decides to be friends with them and unites the humans... Wednesday is not that girl, she's observing and wishing death would embrace her.
Xavier, Wednesday and her family, Rowan, Agnes, dort, all them would be named characters for the human outcast side.
W-E-D-N-E-S-D-A-Y 2
The second Z-O-M-B-I-E-S movie was about werewolves and bringing them into society because Addison thought she was their alpha... All that's happening while the humans are trying to tear down a historical building.
So this would be adding werewolves/were-creatures, Enid and Bruno would be introduced and finally give Wednesday a reason to give a shit about all this. They'd have to get the moonstone still so the were-creatures don't die and Wednesday doesn't lose this fine girl.
W-E-D-N-E-S-D-A-Y 3
The third Z-O-M-B-I-E-S movie is about aliens and where Addison finally finds out what she is while the enby alien tries to romance her boyfriend then ultimately ends up dating the leader werewolf... woo gays.
So aliens aren't in Wednesday but there are shapeshifters so the this would be about them. Them trying to fit in with people and out performing them before learning that its better to work together and that community matters... or some shit... this one doesn't translate as well... I just know Weems and Josephine are named characters in this one.
W-E-D-N-E-S-D-A-Y 4
The fourth Z-O-M-B-I-E-S movie is about Vampires... and day walkers... odd but it worked, they've got a generational feud over food and a group of 2 zombies, a werewolf and an alien/human somehow save the day.
This one would obviously be about vampires, maybe humans in that area are hording all the animals so vamps get to have barely any and therefore get less food... and it gets solved by the power of friendship. Yoko would be the named characters here.
W-E-D-N-E-S-D-A-Y 5
Z-O-M-B-I-E-S five isn't actually out but the end of the fourth one showed the ocean and there's been mermaids in the little animated intros - though there were also vampires in an animated movie/series... this franchise is odd.
This one would be about our sirens/mermaids. Bianca, Divina and Kent being the named characters here.
W-E-D-N-E-S-D-A-Y 6
Z-O-M-B-I-E-S six doesn't exist... if it ever happens, I might come back to edit this with its plot.
This one would be about gorgons and helping with whatever problem they have. Ajax being the named characters here.
W-E-D-N-E-S-D-A-Y 7
Z-O-M-B-I-E-S seven is hopefully not gonna exist... and I doubt i'll come back to this if it does because i'll prob have 1000 posts by then.
This one would be about Hyde's and we'd be brought back to the original place because they were hiding among the people... just like Addison was but like, better. Tyler would be the named characters here, maybe his mum too?
Obviously this could possibly go on for more, an eighth with minotaurs being found despite being called extinct, a ninth with cyclopses, a tenth with yetis, an eleventh with demons and angels... the possibilities go on-
i dunno... I just needed to finally have this written out somewhere so here ya go-
So it is a known thing that in the Wednesday series there are psychics and some have specific names (Wednesday, Goody, Morticia, Rosaline, Hester, Ophelia).
I saw some fanart... a lot of fanart while scrolling Pinterest of Wednesday with black feathered wings, definitely meant to be raven wings.
That sparked this post.
This is not necessarily a headcanon or idea I will use (not at this current moment) so feel free to use it or even expand on it in the comments.
I think that 'Psychics' is a general name for those with powers involving Precognition (which is the ability to see things before they happen, though considering Wednesday sees the past, we add that in here too) or visions.
I think that each different variant/type has a name and because we already have two canon names, i'm keeping that naming convention.
We have Raven's which are more intense, more potent and less controllable precognitive seers. This comes from their darker outlook in life as we see with Wednesday and Rosaline. Goody seemed to have vengeance in her heart which made her darker and Hester is... Hester.
On the other side of that, we have Dove's which are less intense, still quite potent and more controllable precognitive seers. This comes from their lighter outlook on life as we see with Morticia being rather positive despite her darker aesthetic.
These two I think are more all round seers, their visions aren't necessarily specific but what is needed in that moment.
Then we go into my ideas for other kinds of Psychics.
I think Owl's would be another all round seer, less potent than Dove's or Raven's, less focused but just as useful. This is what I imagine Xavier's dad could be due to him canonically being a psychic with visions though it isn't specified how.
Canery's would also be another one, less obvious possibly than most others due to their specific use. They get visions of something devistating or horrible happening, like Wednesday's vision of Rowan's death. Maybe their visions aren't as intense but they hit randomly, like someone is nearby and they get a vision without need to touch them. This would be based on the 'Canery in the coal mine' which were used to tell if it was dangerous because the bird would die.
I struggled to find a bird for this one so i'm using the closest one to what I could find which was a Lark. Lark's would be the name for those with precognitive dreams or sleep visions. Xavier would fall into this category. Their dreams/nightmares would be able to give them glimpses into the future on the current path, they'd probably be able to train themselves to hone in on one person to see a vision about them and their life.
Someone who hears things in their head like they're said right beside them, who don't gain visuals but instead audible 'visions' (Clairaudience) would be Hawks. Every search was giving me owls but I used those already...
Obviously there are other powers that could technically be considered 'Psychic' like Telekinesis (DaVincis), Mind reading/Telepathy and Alex's power from life is strange but they aren't vision based so... they don't count here.
Considering the connection to the fanart I see a bunch of Wednesday with feathered black wings because she's a raven, here is just a little extra that some could add.
Every seer has the ability to sprout wings connected to that of their sub-type.
It doesn't happen naturally and isn't something you unlock at a certain age, it is taught... maybe it can be awakened through some serious situation (idk). There are old books from seers talking about how to gain your wings but I don't have specifics...
These wings don't have to be present at all times but can be after obtaining them. When they are not visible, the appear as tattoos on the back of the person - similar to some old dreamsmp art of Philza that I remember seeing and maybe some DND ideas.
Anyway, feel free to do what you wish with this idea. I just thought about it too hard and now its out there.
If there are other ideas, i'd love to hear them or any corrections if I missed something in my googling.
Have some fanart I found that shows what sparked this idea (I don't own any of this, credit to the people who made the art)
Wednesday x monster energy collab they could have done/could do
So like, i'm one of those losers who collects monster energy cans and have a whole shelf for them. I made the draft for this post while I was planning to get more a while ago, my ideas still stand.
Monster energy could do a Collab with Wednesday and either make one can to represent Wednesday or make a line of drinks/reskin existing flavours representing big characters in the show.
So here is my thoughts for each of the ones they could do.
:)
Wednesday can:
Design: Black and silver coloured. Ravens and gravestones and flowers. Similar to the ultra black one... or a reskin of it.
Flavour: Blackcurrent or plum maybe or whatever black ultra is.
Thing can:
Design: Peach coloured. Black stictches like the one i made custom. Possible reskin of the Peachy keen one.
Flavour: Peach flavour.
Enid can:
Design: Pink and blue but bright, maybe some pastel yellow. wolfs and cute things and phones and stuff. Could be a reskin of ultra fantasy Ruby red.
Flavour: Cotton candy? Strawberry? General berry?
Bianca can:
Design: Light icy blue colour. Waves and fish/scale pattern with fencing sabres. Maybe a reskin of the blue Hawaiian one?
Flavour: Coconut? Maybe blue raspberry or lemonade?
Ajax Can:
Design: Green can. Snakes and scales, maybe some leaves that look slightly like weed? Possible reskin of the ultra paradise one.
Flavour: Citrusy like lime or lemon lime?
Tyler can:
Design: Orange or grey. Bakery style stuff on it or maybe half and half, half orange/light brown with bakery stuff and half grey with the hyde monster. Like the misprint/sun bleached can i've seen? Or have the monster hiding among the rest of the design...
Flavour: Maybe default flavour?
Thornhill can:
Design: Red/orange. Flowers. Maybe a reskin of the ultra red or the ultra Rosa, maybe some hidden syringes in the flowers and a hidden Hyde in the design?
Flavour: Berry?
There could be others but I think these are probably the main ones they'd do if it ever did get made... If Monster energy sees this and likes the idea, I'm down to design these for y'all... please
I saw someone post a dialogue of Yoko and Bianca trying to convince Agnes to use Josephine in getting Wednesday and Enid together... its adorable and Divina comes in and shuts it down.
This but Wednesday and Enid are already dating secretly.
Enid saw right through Josephine the moment she tried to be Wednesday and ask her on a date, instead she ends up talking to the shapeshifter and learning about her crush.
Enid tells Wednesday and they form a plan of their own because Wednesday had noticed Agnes's crush a long while ago - and not the one the vanisher has on her (because I believe Agnes has a crush on Wednesday in the same way a kid has a crush on their older sibling's friend but it never goes anywhere).
So Wednesday tells Agnes to keep an eye on Enid for her and then while doing so, Enid disappears while Agnes glances away. Then Agnes finds Enid again but its not Enid, she follows the blonde wolf to a nice picnic set up by the lake and after watching from a far for way too long... she gets a text telling her to go sit down... from Enid which confuses her for a moment until she realizes and mentally panics because she's been tricked onto a date with her crush.
She trips over something and Josephine turns back to herself and goes to help Agnes and they then have a cute little date that does end in Agnes getting a kiss on the cheek and Wenclair getting an earful but its totally worth it.
This does come from both the post that sparked it and me just not entirely liking Eugene or Pugsley as shipping for Agnes, she showed no interest in them outside of helping Wednesday - obviously she was trying to act like Wednesday but still...
I think Agnes is a closeted lesbian and into her friend Josephine we saw for like a minute in total... maybe Agnephine and Pugene go on double dates and Agnes asks Wednesday for advice but Wednesday is still surprised Enid wanted her after all that happened, she tells Agnes what her parents told her even though it didn't help her with Enid...
Yoko, Divina and Bianca task failed successfully... and now Yoko and Divina try setting Bianca up with either Ajax or Kent but those two are also secretly dating and Bianca is stunned how she's single in all this... she joins Yokovina eventually.
This was sparked by seeing so many people making videos about TADC last episode and giving spoiler warnings and stuff
Minor spoilers in this!!
I dont hate spoilers for myself.
When someone else doesn't want them i won't give them because i'm not shitty, I respect someone wanting to go into something blindly or with minimal information.
I've yet to say anything past "it goes further down hill" to my sister about what will happen in season 3 of agggtm.
When i was talking about the soundtrack of season 2 of agggtm with my sister to get her more interested (she likes the song labour and aroura, she was vibing when a song she knew came up), seeing doomsday reminded me that its in school spirits. There is a line like "ill book the marching band, to play as you speak" and its not even on the marching band character. I was going to talk more about Quinn and their season 3 reveal (them being non-binary and their bio name with how Simon was susing them and the kiss with rhonda) but i asked if she was gonna watch school spirits and if she was chill with me spoiling, she said she was gonna watch it and that she didn't want spoilers... so i said nothing more than "its a cute queer story".
I respect other peoples want not to be spoiled. I won't spoil things without permission unless it slips out during a ramble and then I either act as if I didn't say it or I apologise. I put spoilers warnings on posts talking about shows or books so I don't spoil things for people who don't want them and see the post.
For myself though... I get too curious and end up googling something that spoils things for me but that doesn't ruin the show or anything. Some examples are:
When reading agggtm the first time, I googled something to do with Elliot and learnt he was bad very early on. I then spent the rest of reading trying to find out what he did and learning how bad he was.
I knew about the life is strange endings way before I watched someone play the games... I looked up the kiss because I was newly realising I liked girls... This was way before I realised I was a dude.
The same thing happened with the before the storm stuff, i learnt spoilers from watching the Rachel and Chloe kiss and googled further.
While watching Bridgerton recently, I was like 3 episodes into season 1 and googled the cast which spoiled that Daphne was gonna marry Simon
Also during that googling, I found a family tree and learnt who each of the four bridgerton siblings married in their seasons... though I had no idea who Kate or Sophie were so I was excited to meet them (and not disappointed when I did)
I definitely spoiled if Charlie was good or bad in 'The reappearance of Rachel price' because I was so sus of him and couldn't wait till I finished reading
I knew Jason Bell was bad from pinterest spoilers after watching agggtm season 1 and making a board for stuff... and that Stanley dies from that same thing.
Spoilers dont deter me from watching something, it just makes me want to find out what leads to what I've learnt and I think that makes enjoying media a lot easier for me... so does not being entirely turned off when something is cringy (though never have i ever was hard to get through).
I definitely know this isn't how most people go into media. I go into things either knowing nothing or knowing huge parts that I have to somehow piece together... like quotes from TikTok sounds or posts I chose not to scroll past about things.
Hearing the 'when he inserts himself...' 'inserts himself? inserts himself where?' in Bridgerton was the best. Same with hearing 'if it disturbs my piece, jug on cunt' from heartbreak high.
I think some most people dont know what a hear me out is...
I keep seeing "hear me out" and the images are like:
Like jenna Ortega and Emma Myers (and all their characters) aren't hear me outs!!
They are conventionally attractive and most people will understand. They are "listen to me" not "hear me out"!!!
I will say, if you are an adult and you specifically like Ellie from you as a "hear me out" and you are an adult... I ain't hearing nothing, thats creepy.
Hear me outs are like... xenomorph from alien or pi... not a real human who is attractive! Even an unattractive person isnt a hear me out!
Post about AGGGTM season 2 and my thoughts and feelings
I kept forgetting I had this post to make, I was gonna make it the day after I finished it the first time since I made the draft that was this literally after I finished it... then I was gonna do it after rewatching it to show my sister (who really liked it, she's not read any of the books) and forgot-
So here are my thoughts, they aren't gonna be in depth (I hope, my posts start small and then rambling turns them into 12 page documents ;-;)
:)
Obiously there are spoilers here, be warned!
I really liked this season, I enjoyed last season because I didn't mind some of the changes (though there will be a post at some point when I finish reading the first book again about all the stuff that wasn't in the first season or was changed) and felt some were better than the book - mostly having the friends show up more.
I felt this season was better than the first, in terms of writing and acting, it felt like they were actually ripped right out of the books this time which was amazing.
I quite liked that Killjoy got a part in it, even with the changes like Ravi being there and the party having some awkwardness around Cara and the end of the party being awkward. While I know Killjoy is the prequal and is very different to the part we saw in the show, the essence was there and all that mattered was the costuming and Pip Crashing out about getting it wrong... so they got that right.
I think the changes for this season to do with Stanly were good, though one little gripe is that I think Stanley was chubby in the book while not in the show but its minor - especially since Cara isn't blonde and Pip doesn't have long hair.
Another tiny bit I had with casting is that I always imagined (as best I could with Aphantasia) that Luke had a buzz cut and his tattoos... which fit more with Jamie's actor then Luke's. I like the casting they have in the show, it works well but I feel the haircuts should have swapped is all.
Of course, even though i've read all 4 books, I cried at the end. The scream with the gunshots, the desperation in Pip's begging, the crying 'He's dead! Leave him alone! He's dead!' during the funeral broke my soul... I like the vandalisation instead of the group of assholes crashing the funeral, it made it sadder somehow, the way Pip tried to wipe off the paint is so sad!
I also, of course, freaked out at every book line and scene because i'm that annoying person watching a show, thankfully I was alone the first watch. The car kiss scene that snapped to them waking up in the back together, Pip in Ravi's shirt was AHHHHH! gah damn!
Emma Myers did so good as Pip once again! Best casting choice they could have made for her... some outfits made me just think of her playing double exposure Max.
Asha Banks is my perfect Cara Ward, no one can convince me other wise. I love how well she works with Emma and both their on screen and off screen chemistry as friends and how good the arguing looked! Asha is why Cara is my second favourite character behind Pip.
Zain Iqbal, The perfect Ravi Singh! He killed it again this season, I love his deliveries for the book lines and how well he works with Emma's Pip. Anyone who disagrees or thinks badly of his acting, argue with the wall because this is how Holly envisions Ravi meaning its completely canon.
Jude Morgan-Collie playing a bigger role this season, he did so amazing! The way he is perfect during the serious tense scenes while also being the comic relief is amazing and I love how he delivers some of his lines, the 'Pippa Fitz-Amobi!' while wearing the bike helmet scratches my brain in just the right way.
Yali Topol Margalith had me hoping that Lauren's character would be changed, that we wouldn't have villain Lauren who chooses her new boyfriend over her long-term besties... but no, they kept it and Yali played it so well. I love her and i'm scared for more shitty Lauren in season 3.
Henry Ashton... I hate that you are so attractive, I want to punch Max's pretty face in so badly. He's so good at playing Max which is an odd thing to say, I can't wait to see his ass arrested next season!
RIP Zach getting written away, Raiko was hot and I kinda wish he'd been brought back but they made it fit in so it wasn't just a random missing character.
Robin was kinda a mid character in my opinion... he was just a fill in for what Ant was in the book since Ant was different in the show, he failed at what Max set him to do and was just there but maybe he'll be worse with Lauren in season 3.
God, everyone did so fucking good, I was ruined and will be fucked for the next while- I'll be more fucked when I watch both seasons back to back... holy fuck.
While doing some googling, I read a reddit post that was like 90% just comments not actually being able to understand the show and the story, calling Pip annoying - which, fair, she only gets worse from here - and slandering Emma's accent... Reminded me why Reddit sucks ass.
If you don't like Emma's accent, argue with a wall.
If you didn't understand the story in the show, you need to either pay more attention or don't comment at all... my sister, who's not read any Holly Jackson books, understood the story fine...
