@ask--paraguay
Happy birthday Paraguay 🇵🇾
I’m lateeee, Paraguay’s Independence Day was yesterday but I’m so busy this week all I could do was these sketches.
But yeah have two different soft smiling Paraguays because they’re both babies and I hope both had a great day
The first one belongs to the Latin Hetalia community (the reference I used was from @ zu-art) and the second one belongs to @ask--paraguay.
Edit: I didn’t know it was celebrated both in the 14th and the 15th so yay I’m Not Late
it was his birthday.

Paraguay National Day 2020
Date: May 14, 2020
Today’s Doodle celebrates Paraguay’s National Day, which is known locally as Día de la Independencia Nacional. On this day in 1811, the land-locked country nicknamed “The Heart of South America” declared its independence.
The majority of Paraguay’s ethnic population is a combination of indigenous Guaraní ancestry and those of European, mostly Spanish, descent. This fusion of cultures is reflected in the traditional embroidered lacework introduced to Paraguay by the Spaniards, known as ñandutí (Guaraní for “spider web”), and among the linguistics of the Paraguayan populace, many of whom speak both Guaraní and Spanish.
In honor of the national holiday and its rich culture, the Paraguayan tricolor flag flies high across the nation. Depicted in the Doodle artwork, the flag of Paraguay is one of the world’s few national flags with different emblems on either side. In the center of one side is the Paraguayan coat of arms, and on the opposite, the treasury seal with the national motto: “Paz y justicia” (“Peace and Justice”).

{ ¡Sí, sí! Hace rato me enteré de que en Argentina también lo toman! Es una tradición que proviene de los guaraníes qué influenciaron no solamente la cultura paraguaya, pero también partes de la Argentina :) }
