((Sorry, I meant to make a post about this earlier. I don't usually blog about real-life issues, but this is very relevant to this blog.)) ((Firstly, if anyone is thinking of killing themselves for any reason, please, please don't. No matter who you are. The issue of depression and suicide is very close to my heart- I have known and do know many people with depression. I discovered this weekend that my 10, nearly 11 year old cousin has suicidal thoughts on a regular basis, and to me that's just terrifying. (I sould explain I tried to kill myself about 6 months ago.))) ((Parents should always love their children. Unconditionally. But if your parents don't love you unconditionally, it's not your fault. If they can't accept you for who you are, they shouldn't have had a child in the first place.)) ((Ok, there are some exceptions to the you should always love your children unconditionally rule. If your child is mistreating other humans, you shouldn't support them in that.)) ((Anyway, this is a horrible tragedy, and no child should ever be pushed to kill themselves by anyone else. That's not even suicide. That's practically murder. Rest in peace, Leelah.-El))
