Heās just extremely close with Major John AndrĆ© because they knew each other even before the title āThe American Revolutionā existed. Ben, I swear, Iām not insane! Theyāre just close!
Instead, Iād like to present some evidence that would divert the attention from scapegoating Robert and back to our main focus: to find the true turncoat. Robert may be a suspect, but let me tell ya about Anna Strong.
At around 8:00 pm every night, Anna goes outside to tend to āher gardens.ā However, as a man who used to be engaged to her, she has no gardens! So I spied on her the other day, but only saw her every night walking into the forest, looking expectant as if to meet someone. Maybe like Major Hewlett, yes, the other redcoat Major himself. Sheās had past meetings with him, and Iāve heard of his return after a complicated sequence of events with the two. Heās never at home during the night times, as Iāve observed. So, we can infer that Anna may be meeting the Major during night, just likeā¦a turncoat.
