…Yeah, I’m going to help you get to a nurse. Sorry, I don’t make the rules here friend.
Alright..
Glad you saw the light. Just let me clean the blood off before I take you.
There's a sink in the kitchen, so this should work just fine.

Alright..
Glad you saw the light. Just let me clean the blood off before I take you.
There's a sink in the kitchen, so this should work just fine.
"Yeah, that’s the one!" he said, walking over to close the supply closet behind Zel.
"We can take your other pants to the wash if you like. I’m on break, after this," he said, whistling as he walked back to the front of the kitchen in order to hang up the clipboard for the other two cooks when they got back.
"So, the rest of the medical staff handled this sudden change well too, I hope?"
He shot the other a thumbs up and went to the bathroom, changing quickly. A few minutes later he came out looking much more comfortable and holding his girl sized clothing in his arms.
“Sure, that'd be great if we could wash these. I don't want my girl-self thinking I’m a perv or anything…” He cautiously looked down at the bundle in his arms, making sure the girly unmentionables were tucked out of sight.
“Who, Francois and Sews? I haven't even seen them around lately. I know Sews is going around trying to vaccinate everyone like the plague, I doubt he’d even notice my change, he’s got his.hands full” he laughed, walking with Barter
"Ah. Okay then...wait, what do you mean, your girl-self? You're still...you, right? I mean your in a different body, is what I thought. Unless I interpreted the situation wrong," he answered, as they walked together outside of the kitchens, heading towards the laundry cabins.
"Well, hopefully they won't miss you too much. I'm guessing you're on a break too?"
Would you like me to…walk you over to a nurse? You don’t seem altogether there. You know what, please let me help you walk over to a nurse.
No no, I’m good. I can do this, i’m not going to run away or anything.
...Yeah, I'm going to help you get to a nurse. Sorry, I don't make the rules here friend.
…There’s blood literally dripping all over you right now. At the very least you should visit one of the nurses!
Oh so it is. I’ll go do that.

"Oh…OH! That makes sense, I guess. Also, don’t worry about it," Barter said, as he walked out of the freezer and then went with his clipboard to the pantry and the fridge. The underwear problem at least made a little more sense to him.
"Well, the change of clothes I have are clean, so, no worries about that," he said as he closed the pantry door. "I suppose you want a change of underwear too then? Come on, I’ll show you where it is in the back. You can use the bathroom; it’s not the cleanest, but it’s clean."
He pointed with his clipboard towards the hallway open next to the pantry door. The bathrooms and supply closets were to the right of that.
You’re a lifesaver, buddy” he nodded sheepishly and headed to the closet Barter had pointed out. There were aprons, hairnets, ans gloves as well as weehawken staff shirts and, luckily a few pairs of basic black pants.
“in here?” He asked! standing in front of huge door of what seemed to be the bathroom.
"Yeah, that's the one!" he said, walking over to close the supply closet behind Zel.
"We can take your other pants to the wash if you like. I'm on break, after this," he said, whistling as he walked back to the front of the kitchen in order to hang up the clipboard for the other two cooks when they got back.

The fact that you are bleeding profusely…?
askwolfler:
nooo im not bleeding why would I be bleeding?
...There's blood literally dripping all over you right now. At the very least you should visit one of the nurses!
A few more days probably, and Sure” he followed the other “actually, can I ask a favor?” He lowered his voice “do you have some spare pants I can borrow?”
"Spare pants? Oh sure, yeah," Bart said, as they entered inside; looking around he saw that the other two cooks were out. Probably out getting the smores supplies for the upcoming campfire.
"Just let me finish checking the fridge and freezer, and I’ll get them for you," he said as he left his apron on the hook by the door. He was curious as to why said pants were needed but he didn’t ask. He thought Zel looked fine, but whatever.
"I actually have some spare work clothes in the back of that supply closet over by the bathroom. You know, just in case. Like I said, I’ll get them for you," he continued, his voice a bit rushed as he made his way into the freezer with a clipboard.
"anything will work" he said hurriedly. "Actually," he lowered his voice "My clothes didn’t change with me, and These girl panties are pretty much cutting off my circulation" he winced "Sorry to bug you right before the lunch rush…"

It was getting closer to lunchtime, and Barter was currently refilling up the salad bar for the soon to come rush. He was glad this time around at least, that he had a few other helpers manning the kitchen as well. He heard his name and looked over his shoulder, eyebrows raised; was this staff member new? Well, they knew his name.
"Sorry, have we met…?" He gestured vaguely, as he put down a bag of romaine lettuce.
“Oh right, you don’t recognize me” obviously, not only was he a MALE but also his hair was bright blond and he was taller.
“Its me, Zel. Ive been hit with anon magic” he walked over to the cook, wincing with each step.
Ah, so that was what's up. Suddenly everything about this situation made sense; well okay, he could roll with this.
"Wow, okay then. So like, how long is this going to last for...? I don't suppose you need help or anything," he continued, picking the bag of lettuce up again sheepishly. Pouring it into the last of the stand's containers, he figured the salad bar was good to go.
"I'm headed back to the kitchen, if you want to come with."
Zel walked to the mess hall, his face grimaced in obvious discomfort. He hurriedly sat at a table, when he saw a familiar face. “Barter!” He waved him to come over, temporarily forgetting that Barter would probably have no idea who he was.

...You couldn't have asked at a worse time
Yo food dude! *smiles* I need some fuel for my tummy
Oh! Well, while I can't give you an actual meal before the proper time, I think I'm pretty much allowed to give the staff snacks. Though most of the snacks are of the uh, "healthy" variety.
Hey man, do you have like a bag of ice or somethin I can borrow?
Woah, what happened to you? Oh, I mean yeah. Sure…
Thanks.
…So, any reason you didn’t go to the medical…cabin?
Nooo No of coarse not, why would I have any reason not to go there?

You mean you don’t have anything, either? Christ. This place is a mess. I’m the camp doctor, name’s Sews by the way, and I don’t even have half the medical release forms, I’m not sure if everyone’s vaccinated, and to be completely honest I’m about five seconds from going around to every cabin and give everyone their MMRs on the house.
Hey, a responsible adult like yourself is already vaccinated, right? What’s your name, just so I can check the records and be sure.
...I'm vaccinated. Also, just call me Barter. Yeah...
So I hear you two are working as cooks this year with me, right? We should work out who does what then, as well as a schedule. You can call me Barter, by the way.
Jam: Its nice to meet you, Im Jam *Points yhe the other one* Thats Cider, dair warning he has a mouth on him…Cider: Hey!
Ah, good then! First things first, we need to clean out the kitchen. It’s been left alone basically for the entirety of the year, so prepare yourself for some hard work.
I was thinking of doing something simple today for the lunch menu. Maybe some pizza since camp just started and all.
Thats a good idea, but maybe we should make a second choice, not all kids like pizza after all *Jam suggested smiling*
Hmmm…good point, I guess. I have never met a child who didn’t like pizza though. Except for the lactose intolerant. Well, burgers or hot dogs are always on the table.
*Jam nodded* Ill get started on the hamburgers *Cider got out a big pot* Ill make the hotdogs
…You’re going to boil those hot dogs? Okay. I usually grill them, but whatever works for now. I suppose we’re going to need all that grill space for hamburgers anyhow. I’ll get something involving vegetables in case someone can’t eat meat.
I think theres a salad bar near the door, usually places like camps and schools are required to have one
Yeah, there is one in the mess hall. You've seen it. I've seen it. It needs to be restocked. More importantly, it hasn't been touched since camp started. Which means it's unsanitary. Like I said, I'll take care of it.
