“Is she really? How did they meet?” He looks quite excited, thinking up different romantic scenarios before stopping himself. “I’m sorry! That was a bit rude.” He chuckles a little, embarrassed. “I was just going for a walk, I didn’t mean to disturb you.”

"I'm trying to think," he mused, chuckling. "Well, she was working for the government in England after she had come to visit," he nodded, trying to make the story simple and un-Magical. "He had come back from Egypt to kinda help out with the family. And well, they met and fell in love," he chuckled.

“Grazed is a light term for it…” Hannah said with a small smile, wanting to slap herself. That was all she could take from the story? “I hope Greg is okay, though,” She added, “And it’s good to know that you’re not blind.”

"Compared to what it could have bene, it's definitely a graze," he laughed. "They can take out chunks of skin," he hummed. "Greg's just fine. Got a little banged up, but he's fine now," he grinned. "And yes, my mum would've killed me if I went blind," he shook his head.

Hannah just shrugged. If that’s what Charlie thought, who was she to disagree? It would just be wrong, disagreeing with someone’s opinion. Not that she disagreed, not really, but she never really had that much say on the matter, considering she doesn’t have a scar anywhere on her body, “Go on then,” She said instead, “Tell me the story of your scar on your face. How’d you get it?”

Charlie chuckled a bit, rubbing his jaw slightly. "Alright, I suppose I can tell it. But then I have to go pick up Georgie from work and pick up the stuff from the store," he grinned a bit. "Well the MacFusty clan in Scottland had sent over a Hebridean Black, which we've never had before. My group of trainers were assigned to them; they're a lot more aggressive than most of the dragons we handle. So we were all around this dragon--beautiful creature, mind you. Never seen a think like her--, trying to goad her into this cave where she'd be staying while we try and tame her.

"Well, like I said, they're rather aggressive, and her tail was whipping all over the place. It took out one of our members, Greg, sent him flying back twenty feet or so. So we had to try and get the tail under control; I wrap my arms around it. My feet are skidding along the dirt, and two other guys got a good grip on it, too. Well the Hebridean has spikes in sections over it's tail, and it was thrashing around even with out grip on it. I managed to duck one that would've probably blind me. And as I tried to dodge another one--Well, it grazed my cheek."

Jehan smiled at him and held out his hand for him to shake. “Jean Prouvaire but everyone calls me Jehan.” His voice was soft but friendly.

Charlie shook his hand politely, smiling. "Hey, my brother's wife is from France, too" he noted the other man's accent. "Well, is there anything I can do for you today, Jehan?"

Hermione wouldn’t show it, but it was nice to know that not only Ron, but Mrs. Weasley made mention of her. “Yes I do. It’s rather comfortable there”

“Well, I have this sort of little group we work with mythical creatures. Better treatment for them. And as of right now we’re working with Dragons well sort of. As much as I’ve read about them, and as much as I know, I still have a bit of trouble handling them. I find them misunderstood by loads of people myself including.”

“I was wondering if you could possibly help me..understand more.” Hermione was not one to ask for help ever, but this was something she desperately need to know.

"Yeah, mum has a way of doing that, huh?" he rubbed the back of his neck. "We never had very much, but there was always a lot of love in that home. Always felt wanted, y'know?"

Charlie listened politely as Hermione explained the group she was working with, and he tilted his head. "Well, Dragons are rather well treated, you know. At least they are in Romania. There's very strict codes to their treatment, and they're followed to a tee," he mused.

"But, well, if you want to know more about Dragons, I'd be happy to help. I guess..You can really compare them to muggle Horses in a lot of ways," he offered. "You have to earn their trust, and it's a very slow process. Considering their first instinct is that you're a threat to them. They're very loyal, but you really can't tame them like many people think. You can get some of the aggressiveness out of them, and get them more use to your presence, but we just do that we can handle them easier.

"We give them an environment where they can roam around pretty freely, and we observe them. Learn more about their habits." He offered. "Are there any more specific questions you have?"

“Hello Charlie Weasley yes?” She stuck her hand out to shake it. “I’m Hermione Granger, I’m a friend of well pretty much your whole family. Ronald tells me you train Dragons. I was wondering if I could have a word with you about that.”

Charlie moved to shake her hand, a firm grip on it. "Hermione Granger? I think Ron's mentioned you," he nodded, thinking back to the letters he's gotten over the years. "And my mum, for that matter. You stay at the burrow a lot, don't you?" he smiled.

"About Dragons? Sure, miss Granger. What is it you wish to know?"

Hannah managed to refrain herself from commenting that his chest certainly didn’t look burnt and bruised when she was checking out…his tattoo, “Are you sure? I mean, scars - in my opinion - are much worse than bruises.”

Charlie laughed lightly. "I prefer scars, to be honest. They tell a story. They help shape your life," he explained, rubbing his arm a bit, finishing off his drink.

Charlie looked at the few people who've gathered around him, and he offered a friendly smile, running a hand through hair that has gotten too long (he blames his older brother for getting him into the style of wearing it longer). "Hey there; I'm Charlie Weasley

“You may love dragons,” Hannah stated, “But it doesn’t seem like they love you.” She nodded her head towards his scar, analysing it carefully. It looked like the accident in getting that scar was extremely painful and she winced slightly, not even wanting to imagine the pain.

Charlie touched the scar lightly, running his fingers across it. Mum had yet to see that one, and she was going to kill him. "They're wild animals, what can you expect?" he shrugged. "I'm burnt and bruised all over, Hannah, this is hardly something," he chuckled. Sure, he could've put some sort of cream on it to stop the scarring, but it made him looked rather...distinguished.

“it’s a pleasure, Charlie. Wait… Weasley as in Ron Weasley?….” She smiled softly a curious tone to her voice as she put things together.

"Uh, yeah, he's my little brother," Charlie offered, tilting his head.

“Then again, if you did all get the same one, you could convince everyone you were in a gang.” Hannah said, “You can put your shirt back on now, you know.” She then added with a slightly sheepish smile.

Charlie laughed, tugging his shirt back on with a bit of a smirk. "Nah, we weren't a gang. Just a bunch of dragon-loving guys," he chuckled. It was clear that working with the dragons took it's toll on the man, as there was a large scar running from his cheek across the side of his face to the start of his forehead.

Charlie shook the other man's hand. "Nice to meet you, Emerson," he smiled lightly. "You wouldn't be able to tell me where the ferry to England is, would you?" The portkeys were unfortunately out of order, and so he had to stick to Muggle transport.

Hannah’s eyes widened in surprise. She had never seen a magic tattoo face to face before so she had no idea what she expected, but it was definitely not this. She leaned forward and tried to focus on the tattoo and only the tattoo but, her eyes kept wandering to the muscles that she could only assumed were from the years of Quidditch, “It-i’s a nice tattoo.” She finally managed to splutter out, nodding quite enthusiastically before leaning back so there was more distance between them.

Charlie chuckled lightly, looking down at the red dragon wandering over his chest. "I'm sorry for him. He likes to show off," Charlie mused, watching as the Dragon stretched itself out and seemed to strut along his chest and stomach. "I rather like the tattoo as well, definitely worth it. The lads that were in my group in Romania all got 'em, too. Different ones, mind you."
