Matilda: I actually can! I just can't see my reflection out of really old mirrors thay have silver backings, I can't interact with any raw, pure materials like silver which is why I'm able to wear fake silver jewelry without getting hurt:)

(Note: before matilda got turned she had a big collection of fancy antique mirrors that were always her favorite to look at herself in) (she still kept the whole collection she just gets really sad seeing it because she can’t see her pretty pretty face)
