Feeling real nostalgic and genuinely missing the old times so I tried to draw Karl again…I feel so rusty with my drawings, I really need to draw more often instead of dying off.

Well--Once cloth-guy caught and brought us back, I was not exactly thrilled to be back...So, I didn’t bother exploring around the park since it probably looks exactly the same as the day we left. 

Plus, I cannot handle the crews or anyone, and especially him-- to start chatting with. 

We just headed to our usual spot, the rocks near...near--hmph, anyways... I intend to not stick around this place for much longer. I wonder if that dragon is still there...mmm.

Hello Karl. I really have to ask. Why kill? I know it's a tournament but What have they done to you?

Where on earth did you appear from?–Huh…That seem like a silly question to ask and in fact you partially answered your own question– Its an tournament, which is exactly why you have finish otherwise you cannot process the next round. 

BUT– I had not 100% confirmed my kills and hence why fishboy and the other kids I faced are still breathing. Though we’re not so sure about the vampire, but knowing him…yeeeeah.

Oh! Well, if you count those white-suited peoples then yeah. I killed them because they were in the way.

She looked at the Statue, not minding being pushed away; she wouldn’t want to hurt him. (or would that be damage?) Then she heard his question.

“…I am the Winter, made to end wars.” Eria said, her ice colored eyes mournful, the reminder of her purpose always able to bring cold memories, and colder feelings.  

But she had been cold since her creation, it was all she knew. There was no need to bother others with this cold.

Karl noticed that the question had bothered the girl, it was clear that she is suffering and haunted by her actions. “The Winter huh? Well, I am quite sure that there ain’t any war happening around here or at least not anymore..”

“Let me guess, it was a human that made you?” Probably a stupid question to ask, since human beings are always the ones inventing new technologies / experiments and then always getting themselves into a fight with one or another.

Wait...Why should he care? This is nothing to his concerns-- just another day in the town, why should this girl be treated any differently to any other bystanders...Is it because she has no source of light in her eyes-- no desire of living or is it because he’s getting softer.

No.

“Heh, actually forget that question.” The crow hop onto Karl’s hand. “But tell me something, how it was like to end wars? I bet families are overjoy that they don’t have to leave their love ones in order to keep them safe or...waited for a knock on the door for the return of the brave soldier but it never happen.”

“Oh, what joy it must be.”

Going around killing random bystanders sound like such a hustle when it comes to doing it cleanly, which is not an option sometime and I prefer not to splash paint onto the coat. Also the fact, we do not run on infinite energy.

Doing nothing seem counter-intuitive when you’re bored but we enjoy walks and playing the violin when days are quiet.

“Hmph…Anyways, that’s quite a silly question but long-story-short– Energy magic fancy stuffs that gives us statues enough energy to move.”

The resin struggled to maintain his casual smile, he twitched at the question. It is unknown on how this stranger knew about his relationship with Red or even her existence..

“Rachel- huh?” He paused, and glanced down at his colourless arm.

The resin shrugged, “I have not the slightest clue who’s Rachel that you’re referring to- nor understand this word, ‘love’ you humans speak of.”

The past taught Karl one thing and that’s there’s no such thing as ‘love’ for a heartless statue like himself- It IS ridiculous for one to feel when it’s not a l i v e to begin with.
