Triangles are stable in math. In romance? They are catastrophes with frosting.Â
I am sure, mes lecteurs, that you are convinced that I am about to announce the delicious romantic adventures that can be inspired by any sort of love geometry with a skip in my step and a song.Â
I am not.
----------------------------------
Contrary to popular belief (and the disastrous decisions made by 92% of my letter-writers), a love triangle is NOT a charming little breakfast pastry with three delectable corners you may nibble at leisure. Non. It is a three-sided emotional avalanche dusted delicately with powdered sugar and poor impulse control.
Mathematicians will tell you triangles are the strongest, most stable shape, but mes lecteurs, they are thinking incredibly unilaterally whilst making this assumption. Mathematicians do not date.
Allow me to break down the classic forms of this romantic polygonal peril so that you do not suffer as I have:
Type I: The Isosceles Disaster
Two corners desperately want the third. The third wants a nap. No one gets what they want. Someone cries. Do not attempt unless you, for some reason, ENJOY crying.Â
Type II: The Scalene Implosion
No sides equal. No feelings match. No one knows who started this. Everyone knows who is going to finish it: the paparazzi. Again. Do not attempt unless you enjoy pain and crying.Â
Type III: The Equilateral Delusion
In theory, perfectly balanced. In practice? Three people accidentally confess on the same balcony and knock over the decorative lanterns, setting the night ablaze both metaphorically and literally. Someone leaps off the roof. Someoneâs shirt catches fire. Someone cries. Usually all three are the same person. And that someone is ME.Â
Type IV: Square
Four points, four hearts, infinite screaming. Squares breed confusion: lovers swapping corners like caffeinated dancers. Corner One kisses Corner Two. Corner Three walks in, trips over feelings. Corner Four is writing anonymous letters to everyone. This is not romance. This is romantic Jenga, and the tower will fall.
Type V: The Love Pentagon: Forbidden Shape of Doom
At five points, the heavens themselves groan. People forget who theyâre pining for mid-scene. Someone proposes to a goose by mistake. Two corners elope with a ficus. History records only chaos.
Other Geometric Nightmares:
The Rhombus of Regret: Like a square, but drunk.
The Hexagon of Heartbreak: Six lovers, three breakups. WHY.
The Mobius Strip of Bad Decisions: You think itâs overâŠsurprise! Youâre back at the start, kissing the same rival again.
Survival Tips:Â
-Always label your corners. Love polygons without spreadsheets end in tears.Â
-If youâre the Beloved, do not accept gifts from everyone simultaneously, unless you enjoy riots at your door.
-Avoid geometry entirely by dating a mathematician, with whom, ironically, there are rarely love triangles or any sort of love geometry at all. The bonus of dating a mathematician is that these are typically very black and white types, who enjoy when numbers, emotions, and people add up symmetrically.
Conclusion:
Romantic geometry is unstable, hilarious, and inevitable in storytelling, however, in real life, such complexities are rarely without tears. But take heart: even broken polygons create constellations when viewed from afar. And if all else fails, flip the table, declare yourself a circle, and roll away dramatically.

Love obeys no mathematical formula. Fall responsibly!Â
The Science of Swooning: A Field Guide to Strategic Fainting
What a tragedy it is to live in an era where fainting couches gather dust in museums and a swoon no longer comes free with a whalebone corset or a whiff of toxic wallpaper, but despair not. Absence, as ever, breeds invention.
In this modern world of breathable fabrics and ergonomic chairs, a well-timed collapse is no longer inevitable⊠it is artistry. And artistry, mes lecteurs, is far more delicious.Â
To orchestrate a dramatic faint today is to wield imagination like a rapier: every swoop, every gasp, every fall becomes a statement. And oh, when done well, it can still steal a roomâs collective breath as easily as any Victorian parlor ever did.
You may be wondering, as you rightfully ought, âwhy faint?â when so few modern situations call for the act, but that, in fact is the very reason. Punchline, my friends! Movement! What better way to effect gravitas than to take a tumble into the waiting arms of gravity!Â
In my musings, I have taken the time to compile a list of exactly when/why:Â
To Magnify Desire: Falling shows vulnerability without uttering a wordâproof of the effect they have on you.
To Redirect Attention: In chaotic settings, a swoon gathers every wandering gaze back to you.
*To Test Devotion*: Who will rush to your side? Who hesitates? What will your beloved drop in order to catch you? Gravity reveals more truths than Cupid.
đ How to Apply It Romantically (Because while one should be ready to apply romantic principles at a momentâs notice, a little forethought can elevate your execution to new heights.)Â
Preparation
Wear something that flows for visual effects. Stretch first, if possible. Be sure to clear potential hazards (coffee tables are cruel).
Execution
Soft Sway: For quiet confessions in candlelight.
Elegant Crumple: For crowded venues.
Operatic Fall: For grand gestures. Arms wide, heart bared, as though youâve been struck by Cupidâs arrow mid-moment.
Recovery: Wake with a flutter of lashes, and murmur something soft and devastating: âForgive me⊠you startled my soul,â or, âThe weight of beauty in this room was simply too much.â
Leave Them Wanting: Do not overuse your faint. A single collapse will echo for years. Two will make you legendary. Three risks suspicion.
(P.S. Should you attempt a swoon near IKEA furniture, beware: flat-pack tables offer neither romance nor stability. Gravity, at least, will never ghost you.)
The poets will tell you love is eternal, priceless, carved in the stars. The grocers will tell you lemons are 3-for-a-dollar on Tuesdays.
Somewhere between these two truths lies the answer to our question; and I assure you, darling, I am determined to find exactly where!
It began, hypothetically, when someone (not me) decided that a single lemon might be a clever token of affection, but then came The Rival with cheekbones honed by dark magic, presenting roses and many-angled views of his absurdly viewable profile.
As a response, and in order to vye for both attention, and affection under The Rival's nose, my gifts of one lemon to The Beloved became three. Three became thirty-seven. Soon, the Ramshackle ghosts were building citrus pyramids in the courtyard, and professors began gossiping about how âThis is how plagues start.â
However. Love itself is an infection, non?Â
Once upon a very recent Tuesday, the farmersâ market in Glimmering Glen staged a quiet rebellion. After weeks of watching their lemon bins vanish under the eager hands of a certain masked romantic, they had begun to get complaints from the other customers, whose lemony needs were no longer being met.Â
âThree hundred lemons,â the apple seller hissed.
âFour hundred,â corrected the flower girl.
âAnd he kazoo-serenaded my stall when I told him he could only have half my shipment this week! Iâm not even supposed to carry the cursed things!â groaned the cheesemonger.
Thus, by unanimous vote, they posted a hand-painted sign: âABSOLUTELY NO LEMON SALES TO [Redacted, as I cannot yet share my name.] WE MEAN IT THIS TIME.â
Did LCM learn? Of course not. He merely whispered, âChallenge accepted,â into the nearest breeze and turned his sights on shadier shores.
Azul, ever the opportunist, tapped a blank contract as he considered RookâLCMâsârequest. âIf I am to understand this correctlyâŠyou wantâŠblack market lemons? This isnât code for anything perverse, is it?âÂ
Rook placed a single, forlorn kazoo on the counter, like a knight laying down his sword.Â
âNon, mon ami. My beloved remains stubbornly unswayed, and the grocers have forsaken me. Only the illicit gleam of contraband citrus can salvage this romance.â
From the shadows, Jadeâs grin sharpened like a filet knife. âThere are tariffs on tropical fruits, you know. Risky business. Dangerous currents. Tragic accidents.â
Floyd, lounging upside down on a barstool, hummed through an empty cocktail straw. âSounds fun! Letâs smuggle him some lemons before the coast guard or the kelp farmers catch on.â
Azul sighed, though the ghost of a smirk didnât escape Rookâs notice. âBut for the right priceâand a small favorâyou could have enough citrus to flood a ballroom.â
âTruly impressive,â LCM (me) said evenly. âYou can do it? And the timeline?âÂ
Floyd, still lounging on the barstool, smiled a little too widely. âEasy-peasy, lemonââ he paused, grinned wider, ââsqueezy. Give us a day.â
Azul adjusted his glasses with the gravity of a man quoting a contract to a particularly reckless client. âThe paperwork will, of course, indicate a shipment of vitally important potion ingredients.â He slid a parchment across the bar, already stamped with suspiciously shiny seals. âSign here, initial the clause about unforeseen shipwrecks, and please donât ask about the insurance premium.â
LCM, master of theatrics even when cornered, glanced over the document. âA day?â he mused. âSuch swiftness borders on villainy.â
Jade, polishing a glass with deliberate menace, replied, âNot villainy. Efficiency!â He leaned in slightly, voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. âBesides, nothing says âeternal devotionâ like contraband citrus delivered under moonlight.â
Agreed.Â
Rook signed with a flourish so extravagant it could have doubled as a fencing maneuver. Twice.Â
âThen, mes amis, one more day, and perhapsâperhapsâher heart will yield.â
The eels exchanged a look that said: It wonât. But at least weâll be entertained.
The next day, the lawns fo LCMâs beloved were blanked in cheery, passionate yellow. Pyramids of fruit gathered by the door. Mosaics of yellow lined the pathway. There were fruit-messages arranged on the lawn, depicting french poetry so sincerely sordid it was a wonder the lemons involved didnât blush.Â
LCM hid in the bushes at the time of his intendedâs usual exit, and was rewarded with the sight of her absolute, unbridled shockâand YES! There was even a side of wobbly knees, jaw-dropping, and an adorable side-bonus of her tongue going quite limp in her mouth.Â
She did not swoon. There was no dramatic falling-over, but the effect was quite close. Ah, the holy grail of reactionsâŠbut still, no swoon. He was close enough to taste triumph, but not enough to bottle it.
To his utter delight, the very next action she took was to start the process of bringing the entire truckload (several illicit crates-worth) into the house.Â
Lemon after lemon disappeared through her doorway like little yellow promises. She even paused once to hold one, staring at it as though pondering its meaningâand he was sure, she was very close toâŠ.oh, something! LCM nearly fell out of the bushes humming La Vie en Rose through his (retrieved) kazoo.
Somewhere far away, Octavinelleâs profits multiplied. Farmers clutched their remaining produce. And Rook (ahem, LCM) ever the dramatic hunter of hearts, whispered to the breeze,Â
âShe takes them inside⊠mon dieu, I am so close. Perhaps it is five crates. Perhaps six. But I will find the number.â
No oneâno oneâshould ever use kazoos for anything, ever. Not for music, not for ceremonies, not even on enemies. Kazoos are the chaotic neutral of instruments: they hum like a mosquito with self-esteem issues and possess all the elegance of a tin can falling down an uneven staircase. Entire civilizations have probably collapsed because someone thought, âLetâs add a kazoo.â
HoweverâŠ
When passion burns brighter than dignity and youâre faced with the terrifying prospect of confessing your feelings, a kazoo can become a weapon of mass seductionâŠor at least mass embarrassment, but hey, mes amis: attention is attention. Love, after all, is not about good decisions. Itâs about spectacularly bad ones delivered with flair. And nothing says âIâd risk public shame for youâ quite like a plastic tube that turns breath into existential honking.
Brace yourself. The path of kazoo-based affection is loud, absurd, and possibly illegal in some provincesâbut oh, it will be remembered.
Rose in the Teeth â Kazoo in the Teeth
Nothing says âsmoldering passionâ like a plastic harmonica-wannabe clenched between molars. Bonus: produces a tragic hummm when you breathe too hardâan EXCELLENT reminder to control oneâs breathing in romantic, performative, or really any situations.
The Serenade Ambush
Hide beneath your belovedâs balcony at dawn, armed with a kazoo choir of equally sleep-deprived friends. Choose a tragic ballad. Nothing says âdream of me,â quite as forcefully as sleep interrupted with the must unmusical of instrumental âahemâs.âÂ
The Guerrilla Confession
Replace the fanfare at a public service/transport/school announcement with a kazoo flourish. As the crowd groans, stride forward and proclaim, âI love you, and also, yesâthat was me.â Duck before the tomatoes. (And there WILL be tomatoes.)
The Dinner Disaster
Invite them for a home-cooked meal, then reveal your âorchestraâ is three kazoos hidden in the centerpiece. Accompaniment optional. Play their favorite love song while overcooking the pasta. Romance thrives on chaos.
The Public Transit Proclamation
Board the busiest carriage, rally strangers into a kazoo flash mob, and belt out your feelings between stops. Disembark before security has opinions.
Dramatic Violin Solo at Midnight â Lone Kazoo Under a Flickering Streetlamp. Do you wish you had the romantic persuasion of the concert violinist? The elegance of the cellist? Or perhaps, if you are desperate, the audacity to play the viola? Neverfear, for the ability to train, practice, devote hours, or even recognize the vague concept of âmusicâ can all be side-stepped via the kazoo. All you need is a spotlight, hanging flashlight, or even just the glare of someoneâs headlights and access to a .99c tube of vibrating air, and lo! Your beloved is sure to be impressedâor at least attention-arrested, mes amis.Â
The Budget Romance
Moonlit Gondola Ride â Inflatable Pool Raft and a Kazoo Sonata
Because romance isnât about location; itâs about commitment.
Waltz Beneath the Chandelier â Two-Step Beneath a Suspiciously Low-Hanging Kazoo Mobile. Symbolism is symbolism, even if it squeaks.
The Bouquet SwitchâSend a dozen kazoos painted red and arranged like roses. Attach a note: âThey wonât die in a week⊠unlike my dignity.â
The Bird Call: When used between lips of exceptional skill and breath control, the kazoo can be used by a skilled hunter as a bird call for several kinds of species to a near-irresistable effect. I, myself, intend to use this skill to summon what I hope will be sufficient fowl to prove both my oral prowess and devotion to my intended, the results of which, I am sure will be recorded in Signed, Sealed, Unhinged, by PenguinsWaltz.Â
BONUS: The Post-Apology Encore
After any of the above inevitably goes wrong, arrive sheepishly at their door. Play a slow, heartfelt kazoo solo. Whisper, âIâm bad at choices but good at loving you.â
âDarling, if love isnât a little embarrassing, youâre doing it wrong. And if kazoos are involved, youâre doing it spectacularly wrong.â
When Your Rival has Cheekbones Sharp Enough to Cut Your Self-Esteem
Gather close, darlings. Tonightâs tale is not about dragons or dark magic. It is about something far more perilous: a rival whose cheekbones could slice a macaron in half mid-air.
You know the type. They step into the room and the chandeliers spontaneously adjust their lighting to flatter them. Their shadow alone could model for a cologne ad. You glance onceâjust once!âand suddenly your self-esteem is lying on the floor, whispering, âItâs fine, we were overrated anyway.â
These instructions are your padded armor against sculpted menace: a field manual for every lovestruck fool whoâs ever thought, âMaybe if I contour hard enough, I too can be a weapon.â Spoiler: you donât need to. You need only wit, composure, and the courage to laugh when the universe sends you a rival forged by the gods of geometry.
Now. Wipe the metaphorical blood off your pride, steady your heart, and letâs begin:
Step One: Do Not Stare Directly at the Cheekbones
They are not mere facial features, they are enchanted blades, honed on whispered compliments and moonlight. Gawk for too long, and you will find your dignity lying in tatters at your feet while your rival casually adjusts their lapels and sweeps away with the target of your desires.
Step Two: Breathe.
Rivals with sculpted faces want you flustered. They feed on the sound of your heart tripping over itself. Inhale the scent of jasmine, dust, or whatever tragic romance perfume hangs in the air. Exhale your panic. Remember: sharp edges are only dangerous if you run toward them.
Step Three: Claim Your Terrain.
Even if your knees quake, straighten your shoulders. Take up conversational space. Compliment the greenhouseâs foxgloves, the chandeliers, the weatherâanythingâbefore the rival weaponizes silence. They will try to make you feel small; remind them you are a force of nature, not a footnote.
Step Four: Redirect the Duel.
Do not attempt a cheekbone-measuring contestâyou will lose. Instead, wield humor or unexpected grace, such as a sly remark, a steady gaze, or a deliberate laugh too loud for their perfect composureâthis is your blade. You need not outshine them; you need only remind the beloved why you, in all your imperfect brilliance, are unforgettable.
Step Five: Remember the Belovedâs Choice is Not a Trophy.
Even if the rivalâs profile could launch a thousand fan clubs, love is not awarded by bone structure. Passion belongs to those who show up, listen, and dare to look foolish. That last one? Ah. That one we can *do.*
Oh, you think youâre fortifiedâmoats of cynicism, towers of âIâm fine on my own,â and archers armed with cutting sarcasm. And yet, here comes affection in a ridiculous feathered hat, wheeling a catapult labeled âFeelings.â It will not ask permission. It will scale your walls, kiss your sentries, and graffiti your battlements with absurd declarations such as: âI would fit perfectly into your schedule,â and, âI need you,â âYour wrists are perfectly âwristed,ââ âMy eyes will haunt your dreams,â âor simply, ââ„ U.â
Tactical Advice for the Besieged:
Raise the drawbridge? Too late. Love tunneled under it with a spoon.
Boil oil for defense? Itâll call that a romantic spa day.
Pretend youâre unbothered? Love will schedule a marching band outside your window at 3 a.m. until you are bothered.
Hide in the tower? Love has a grappling hook and zero respect for OSHA.
The truth is, the only winning move is to surrender on your own terms, dramatically and with a flourish. Throw open the gates, fling down your crown, and meet the invading force halfway across the courtyard. There, under the smoking remains of your dignity, youâll find something terrifying and wonderful: the realization that being conquered was what you wanted all along.
Now go, dear reader. Let yourself be besieged. JustâŠmaybe reinforce the chandelier before your beloved tries swinging on itâmore on that later.
A letter is not paper. It is alchemy; ink transformed into longing.
The Perfect Note: A cascade of metaphors, one scandalous compliment hidden amidst sincerity, and at least one line so dramatic they clutch the page to their chest and whisper your name into the night.
The Dangerous Note: Too long. If it begins with âDearestâ and ends twelve pages later with âIn conclusion,â you have written a dissertation, not a confession. Fatal misstep.
The Anonymous Love Note: Thrilling! Provided your handwriting does not resemble the ransom notes of a vengeful chicken (the haunted kind) or a grade-schooler (the misguided kind).
Seal it with wax. Or a kiss. Or, for maximum impact, bothâpreferably at once. At the very least, fold or roll the message with intention (or fancy origami) and enchant to appear before your beloved at the opportune time. (E.g. Popped from a toaster, hidden in a textbook or desk, orârisky option for only the very deft-of-fingersâin your belovedâs collar or pocket.)
đč The Art of The Bouquet Your Grandmother Wouldn't Place Next to a Lamp đč
A flower is never just a flower. It is a coded message that may say anything from "be mine," to "I wish to congratulate you on your new yarn-collecting hobby." Proceed with caution when wooing via floral message.
A basic guide:
Roses: A single specimen: classic, passionate, and slightly dramatic. Over 100 of the blooms: perfect if you wish to say, âI love you with a fervor that may fell a chandelier and burn down a small opera house.â
Lilies (the aquatic version, particularly): Devotion and dedication to waist-deep water strolls.Â
Lavender:nostalgia and steadfast affection, perfect for a lover who values whispers over declarationsâŠcaution advised with younger Beloveds, as this flower may also be associated with the scent of a grandmotherâs underwear drawer.Â
Cinnamon Stick: Heat Beneath Composure. Recommended pairing with roses. Tucked among petals, it murmurs, âMy thoughts stray to forbidden warmth.â
đ Lemon Blossom: True. Love. There is no greater floral statement. Reserve for your intended.Â
đż Basil: a promise of freshness and spice. May put your beloved in the mood for exotic foods.Â
Star Anise: Its star-shape hints at destinyâs compass. A bouquet with star anise suggests a love both fated and deliciously unconventional.Â
White Lotus â Sacred Patience and Unyielding Faith. Is highly recommended if your beloved is currently or dreams of being a member of an underground society.Â
đ° Bouquet of Money: An audaciously scandalous wink at practicality and extravagance: âMy devotion funds kingdomsâor at least your pastry habit.âÂ
Dandelions: A mistake. Unless you are eight years old or a fae trickster, do not present someone with what the wind sneezes into gutters.
Carnations: Proceed with caution. Red is bold, yes. White, however, can either communicate affection, or funeral condolences. And yellow? Yellow whispers: âI love you as a friend, but I also wish you eternal confusion.â Advanced flower. Avoid in early advances.
The rule is simple: if the bouquet looks like something your grandmother would place next to a lamp, your beloved may place you next to the lamp. If your bouquet smells of sultry spices and floral risk, be prepared to accept affection, and possibly requests for dinner.
Because nothing is dullerâor saferâthan, âNice day, isnât it?â Yet in the hands of an artist, even meteorology can smolder. A clever lover can turn clouds into innuendo and forecasts into foreplay.
The weather is not small talkâit is a canvas. Paint it with longing, humor, and a whisper of danger. Make the drizzle decadent, the heat scandalous, and the breeze complicit in your schemes.

đ Support continued research into meteorological seduction at the Lemon Fund.
Mes chers, some people speak and it is like rainwater dripping from a leaky gutter: functional, mildly unpleasant, and guaranteed to ruin your socks. Others? Ahhh, they speak, and suddenly you are intoxicated, dizzy, and wondering if you should fling yourself into a window just to escape your feelings.
This, my doves, is the art of conversation that lingers like perfume.
If they answer with disgust? Pas lâun, pas lâautre. They have no sense of romance. Leave immediately.
2. The Balance of Wit and Melodrama
True conversation is a duel fought with compliments sharpened into blades. Alternate between dazzling them with brilliance and confusing them with nonsense. Example:
Them: âItâs chilly today.â
You: âYes, but my heart is aflame. Stand closer; I might ignite your scarf.â
3. Strategic Pauses (Also Known as âLet Them Sufferâ)
Say something intriguing and then stop. Let silence expand. Watch as they lean in, desperate for the rest.
You: âDo you know what happens when two souls collide?â
[PAUSE. LOOK AWAY. LET THEM PANIC.]
Then: ââŠneither of them ever enjoys soup the same way again.â
They will never forget it. Neither will the soup.
OR:Â
You: âDo you know why I never drink tea on Thursdays?â
[PAUSE. STARE INTO THE DISTANCE AS IF RECALLING A PAST LIFE.]
Them: ââŠwhy?â
You: ââŠah, but some truths are too perilous for daylight.â They will spend the next seven years wondering if you were cursed by a teapot.
4. Deploy Compliments Like Emotional Assassins
Do not say, âYou look nice.â Banal! Instead:
âYour voice is the sound of scandal about to happen.â
âThe way you hold that pen is indecent.â
âYour very existence has personally ruined my concentration.â
5. The Lingering Exit
To ensure your words haunt them forever, you must leave at the precise peak of fascination. Do not overstay. Deliver a line so outrageous it echoes in their skull for days. Example:
âI must go. Your eyes are committing tax fraud, and I refuse to be complicit.â
Then vanish into the night.
Alternatively: stand suddenly, clutch your chest as though overcome, and declare:
âForgive meâI must away! Your smile is too dangerous. If I stay another moment, I shall name my future children after your elbows.â
Then vanish into the night. Preferably through a window.
Conclusion:
Conversation that lingers is not logical. It is alchemical. It is perfume clinging to a scarf, laughter echoing in an empty corridor, the faint scent of lemons where no lemons should be. Speak boldly, mes cĆurs, and leave them gasping, swooning, and cursing your name in the same breath.

Mes amours, lean close. Closer. CLOSER. (Not that closeâIâm afraid my personal proximity is intended forâŠwell, I will hold to that mystery for now.) Today we discuss the holy grail of romance: the spark.
You ask: âHow do I know if it is love, or indigestion?â Excellent question. The symptoms are very similar. Both cause heart palpitations, sudden sweating, and the irrational urge to fling oneself onto the nearest fainting couch. But fear not! I, your masked guide, have wrestled with both passion and questionable shellfish, and I can tell you the difference.
1. The Eye Contact That Burns Through Dimensions
If they look at you for longer than three seconds, congratulations: you are either soulmates⊠or about to be mugged. To determine which, check if they are holding roses or a crowbar.
2. The Mysterious Physics of Proximity
Why is it that the moment you step into a room, they are suddenly there too? Coincidence? Non. Fate? Oui. Obsession? âŠWe shall call it âfateâ until the restraining order arrives.
3. The Spark of Electrical Malfunction
A true spark feels like being struck by lightning, but romantically. Your hair stands on end, your knees buckle, and somewhere in the distance, violins begin to play. (If you hear kazoos instead, that is also acceptable, but you may have summoned a trickster spirit rather than a lover. As for myself, I can vouch for the fact that this is not always a bad thing.)
4. The Sacred Stomach Flip
Ah, the flutter! The flippity-flop of organs rearranging themselves into interpretive dance. Do not be alarmed. This is natural. If you vomit glitter, however, please consult both a doctor and a sorcerer.
5. The âOh No, Theyâre Hotâ Moment
Science has proven this is the clearest sign of all. One moment, you are a rational human being; the next, you are staring at their hands (or, as Iâm told, occasionally wrists) like they have single-handedly/wristedly reinvented bread. You trip over your words, your feet, and sometimes small furniture. The spark does not care. The spark laughs.
A true spark is unmistakable. It is thunder in your veins, fireworks in your brain, and an overwhelming urge to write poetry so dramatic it causes innocent bystanders to faint.
And remember, amis: sparks are only the beginning. For every spark must become a flame, and every flame must be carefully stoked until your neighbors complain to the fire department. (If done RIGHT!)Â đ
