Ah, how wonderfully nice! I’m really happy to hear that! I actually spent the day looking through my old posts, it’s interesting how I still remember where I was or how I felt when I posted some of them. Truly a trip down memory lane, love it!

Lei-Lei huh, wow I haven’t heard that nickname in ages! You remembered that? That’s flattering! Ah, I haven’t been dead. I’ve been hard at work, moving around, getting experiences. Crazy what can happen in four years. I’m not just older, I have been loved and I’ve been heartbroken. I have struggled and I have succeeded. Life’s just been chugging along pretty much, but I’ve missed you guys, and I’ve always kept this Tumblr in the back of my mind.

That’s absolutely right anon! You can’t come back before you come back you know! I always knew I’d return to Tumblr as soon as the reveal came, just like I promised four years ago!

I assume you’re being sarcastic seeing as how it’s been four whole years since I last posted! But yes, I’ve been waiting patiently for my return until my reveal a couple of days ago. Sadly everyone else seems to have left though.

Hiatus almost over!

Hi guys and gals! Sorry for the inactivity this summer. I’ve been taking my time away from police work to travel and enjoy myself!

I was going to make a return this week, unfortunately my computer got a pretty nasty virus that I can’t get rid of. I might be a super cop but I’m not much of a computer person. This means I can’t make gifs and because gifs are so important for this blog I’ll wait until I have everything up and running again!

OOC question: do you have any favorite tekken askblogs ?

((Author: Absolutely! I could write an essay about my favorite ask-blogs. I’ve already mentioned AskLarsAlexandersson in a previous post so I’d like to mention a few other favorites:

Ask-BryanFury: Brilliant blog with amazing art. The character portrayal is equally good. Blending a lot of humor and style and the author manages to stay in-character throughout! Also, I received my very first question from ABF the day after I made this blog. How the author managed to find me that fast is beyond me, but rest assured it’s always a joy to respond!

Ask-LingXiaoyu: can I just indulge for a moment at how cute this blog is? It’s adorable! I can’t even describe it. The art and humor of this blog fits the character perfectly! Ask-LingXiaoyu is happiness in blog form!

I’d also like to mention a few blogs that aren’t as active anymore but that I really enjoy.

AskAnnaWilliams: I just recently found out that this blog is no longer with us. I think that’s sad because it was a well written blog and it was also well executed!

AskSergeiDragunov: How one can make the silent white angel Sergei Dragunov so fun and enjoyable is beyond me! Check it out.

AskTheLaws: Two fun characters portrayed with great art and a lot of personality! I love it!

If your ask-blog wasn’t mentioned here its because I’d like to list five blogs for now. Later I might list more because trust me, there’s more greatness out there! I just wanted to keep this relatively short for now.))

Just wanted to say that I agree with you on the character question, Jin hasn't been anything but boring and annoying as hell after Tekken 3 and I can't see why they put him in the spotlight. Likewise for Lars, I prefer the ask-blog version of Lars over the game one. Still, some characters make up for the dull ones, like Bryan, the Williams sisters, Kazuya, the Laws, and the super cop of course. :)

((Author: Hey! Nice that you agree. I'll say this about Jin: I think his fighting style is cool and he's fun to play with. So it's sad that the dullness overshadows that. I would wish for Namco to recognize the shortcomings of the character and change him for the better.As for Lars, he's definitely a step up from Jin. I played with Lars for quite a bit back in Tekken 6 (for reasons that you may have figured out somehow). The ask-blog Lars is insanely good! The person making the art for that blog is super talented!))
