[ON PERMANENT HIATUS] feat. latino leorio, trans kurapika, farah the baby, and pietro the dog inbox: [closed]

(( hey y’all uuuhhh it’s the crew lmao

so uuuh it’s been a while. as you saw, we didn’t show up for any holidays after Halloween, much to my dismay. school got super busy for me, and my mental health hasn’t been great, and i subsequently lost interest in running this blog :( i also haven’t been super big into keeping up with hxh as of late (mostly bc school took over my life and myself and my friends have moved onto more interests)

also, there was a very sudden decline in the overall activity of most ask blogs, and i sort of fell into that inactivity as well, and I haven’t seen any real demand to come back, so i figured i’d just stop making myself come back when my creative spark for the blog started going out haha

i still loved loved loved running this blog, and i met so many great friends because of it, and got to interact with all my followers, and it was a lot of fun (I also know i have a few asks in my inbox, but that’s probably where they’ll stay)

and you may be asking, well, Will, what’s going to happen to ask-leopika???

well, i don’t really know!! i was considering officially shutting it down, archiving it, and letting someone else maybe take the url and start up a new ask leopika blog if they really wanted to. but, someday i might come back to it! when that day will be, i have absolutely no idea, so it’s safer to say that i will not be coming back to it, but i don’t want it to disappear

if anything, thinking about it, if i really get back into the hxh fandom i’ll maybe revamp it, and kind of start over (all the old posts would stay, don’t worry, i may just give a hard refresh to leorio and kurapika)

but, as of right now, this blog is on a more-or-less permanent hiatus, essentially closed

i really had a great time, and this blog holds a very warm place in my heart, and i love all the hxh characters with all my heart, but! i no longer have a strong desire to run this blog as much as i did in it’s prime!!

hope y’all are doing well!! Leorio, Kurapika, Farah, Pietro, and I all wish you a wonderful forever!! study hard, stay strong, keep being awesome and happy!!

Do you all have plans to do a family costume plan for Halloween??? I'm so excited to see how cute it'll be

Kurapika: We do indeed have costumes!  We went down the Doctor Who route, since Leorio has that Tenth Doctor hair and I look a bit like Rose Tyler.

Leorio: Farah is even the Bad Wolf!!

Leorio: And we almost had Pietro dress up as K-9, but how could we have passed up the opportunity to make him a Cerberus??

officially on semi-hiatus

(( hello hello!!

i just answered the last couple asks i had in my ask box, and wanted to officially say that this blog is going on a semi-hiatus!!  

i’ll be leaving for school in about 10 days, and things will be getting very busy (they already have the past few weeks with some last-minute preparations!) so i wont be able to run this blog as often!!

there may be times during the year where i have a free night and can answer some asks if i get any, but most likely wont be back till around christmas when i’m on winter break!! but i might pop on around halloween :D

feel free to send asks our way anytime you like though!! the ask box will remain open, and i will get to the asks eventually!!

What activities do you guys do with Farah? Special things you each individually do with her and then together as one big family!

Kurapika: When I’m with her alone, usually I sit and talk with her while gently playing with her, sometimes even reading.  Most times I tell her about the Kurta clan and our old stories.  Talking to her often helps me remember things about the clan as well...

Leorio: I usually do the same, talk and read to her as we play.  But I also love to take her outside, and she loves to watch Pietro run around and chase his toys, as well as loves to pick the grass in our yard.

Leorio: As for together, we usually just all play and talk together, which results in lots of cute videos and photos of each of us with her, but we also like to take her out a lot.  One of our favorite things is to go to the local park and have a picnic all together.

Kurapika: Other than that, we just spoil her with love and chatter.

how have you guys been spending time with the babu I must know

Kurapika: Well, it’s mostly been feeding her, letting her sleep, and playing with her and talking to her when we’re not busy doing those things, hah.

Leorio: Plus, there’s changing her and bathing her.  Although, recently we have been getting her onto more baby food rather than formula.  Her favorite is carrots!!

Kurapika: And her favorite toy is her kitty rattle!  You can hear that most often in our household.

Leorio: And what do we do when we go out?  We slay.

Have any plans about what to do as farah grows up? Like are you going to do something else as she gets older or are you going to just stay at home?

Leorio: We definitely won’t be letting her take the Hunter’s Exam when she’s twelve years old like some other little shi- kids... some other little kids did.

Kurapika: For the most part we plan to just let her do whatever makes her happy, and keep her as safe as we can.  As for when she gets older... time will just have to tell on that.

AAAHHHH!!!! I'm finally back on Tumblr and I MISSED you!!!! What have I missed? The last time I was here was when Kuropika was pregnant.

Kurapika: And she’s already getting pretty big!  Plus, I started my hormone replacement therapy about 2 months ago.  Those are the two big things that’ve happened!!

Do y'all play video games co-op or competitively ?

Kurapika:  When he gets really into video games this... is usually what our house sounds like...

How has the pup been???

Kurapika: He’s been doing well! Very happy and healthy.

Leorio: Plus, he’s been great with Farah!  Especially since he’s gotten used to her, he knows to be very gentle, but we make sure he isn’t uncomfortable and keep Farah safe in case he gets too rough.  But the other day we caught her asleep with him on his dog bed!

How have people reacted to seeing both of you in public with your cute lil baby?

Kurapika: I swear, every time we go out with her in tow, we get at least 5 people coming up to us to say hi and coo at her.  It makes everyone, even Farah, smile.
