Jeremy, Michael has a 99.999% chance of liking you back, and even if he doesn't he's not going to stop being friends with you for it. Take it from me, I had a crush on my best friend I knew for many years and she didn't return the feelings and things weren't even awkward between us after that. Eventually I got over it and everything's normal and we're still best friends.
Jeremy: I guess another part of me worries that even if Michael says he feels the same way, that he is just saying it because he feels bad for me. Sometimes I worry about why Michael hangs out with me. If Michael didn’t have me around he could probably be so cool. I would hate to drag Michael down by always needing reassurance about our relationship. I think you guys have more confidence than I could ever have…

Jeremy: Talk with Michael- are you crazy? Everything could go wrong… what if he doesn’t feel the same way and now he knows about my pathetic crush. I would like to believe that he wouldn’t stop being my friend just because he doesn’t feel the same way… but what if he does decide he can’t be my friend anymore? I can’t lose Michael over a crush gone wrong. Even if the chances that he feels the same way are high I just can’t risk it- he’s been my friend for as long as I can remember.

Jeremy: I really don’t want to say it when I know it can be easily read by others… but I guess I don’t really have much of a choice. I’ve had a crush on- or well I guess I didn’t know it was a crush at first… but I’ve had a crush on Michael since middle school. I just thought I really appreciated his company because I don’t really make friends easily. When I started getting bullied for being so close with Michael I realized that I was acting a little weird for just being his friend. I don’t really know if he feels the same though and I guess that would be another reason why I am so anxious about answering this.

Rich: Thanks, I appreciate that. It’s nice to hear some genuine compliments. It’s just- it’s really hard, y'know? To live the way I had to with my father… then with a squip. There’s always been something or someone there controlling me, hurting me, telling me I was worthless. Sometimes, you see yourself starting to believe it. I’m really trying to get better though. I’m trying to help myself, and if that includes a certain headphones kid… well, that sounds good to me.
