I’ll have to make a comic for this sometime! But to sum it up,

In the heat of the battle against Giygas; When Paula prayed over and over and it wasn’t seeming to defeat him, just when they were one prayer away from beating him, Ness panicked and used a last resort to save his friends and the world: Absorbing Giygas into his mind and soul. Having such a strong will power, Ness was able to trap him. But at the cost of his own mental health and wellbeing...
