A month has passed.
I’m more or less making this post because things in my life have gotten a bit better.
After leaving this blog I had a bit of trouble with life in general but I’m glad I can leave this here if any friends still wanna talk.

Forceful Resignation.

There had been unrest in Piltover for a long time, crimes became more and more violent with each passing day. The cells were growing in both size and capacity as to hold all the prisoners... Cade tried his best to save the people of his once beloved city but he soon grew overwhelmed.
He had spent days on end both taking in and doing his fair share of shooting but it still wasn’t enough- the city was far from it’s glory and there was no end to the gang attacks and murder sprees that broke out among the city streets, it seems hell had finally broken lose and the once renowned state was turning into Zaun...
After a long weekend of locking up those who defied the law Cade sat at his desk, Coffee and Cupcake in hand with paperwork sprawled out over his mahogany desk. Although it had started and nearly ended like most normal days, it felt different, as if he had been watched... As Cade sat down however, the feeling of head pressed against the back of his head- not something metal or even physical but that of a light, as if something were being shined or directed at him.
The next few series of events took a morbid and brutal turn as he turned to see the red dot painted across his forehead and the horrific sound of screaming and shooting ensued. Blood painted his desk as he fell out of his chair- cupcake in hand and glass to follow.
The Sheriff had been assassinated. No one knew who or why, but the reports say it was no clean murder if anything.

[ Laptop is currently being wiped- however as soon as it's fixed, Cade will be saying goodbye to everyone for good.. I've had an amazing time here in this community.. I am actually quite depressed writing this but he's just had his time and it's about up! I'll write the formal goodbye at some point soon but again I love you all for the wonderful time I've had here. ]

The Policeman and the Possessed

Midday sun beat down upon Arkyn’s back as he walked through the streets of Piltover, keeping away from everyone. He was purposefully isolating himself, afraid of getting too close to someone and hurting them.
Eventually, he found himself at the police station, unconsciously brought there by some unseen force. As if in a trance, he entered, waking past everything inside until he was before the Sheriff of Piltover, Cade.
“I need help,” he practically whispered, “but I don’t know how to fix this.”

Cade pulled down his reading glasses, setting down a pen as he looked up.
“How can I be of service?” he asked with a bit of confusion- the man seemed very out of his element. Cade felt seemingly accepting of the fact that his secretary hadn’t said a word over the intercom to him about the visitor. Keeping in mind that there was other tasks that may be a bit more important
however the officer listened closely, quite interested in what he had to say.
Arkyn’s gaze wandered around the room for a minute or so in silence before responding. It was as if he was watching something that Cade could not see move around.
“I don’t think you can help me, actually. But because of your position, you might know someone who can.”
He pointed to the pen on his desk and then to a stack of papers to the right.
“Watch closely,” he said, as if anything would happen. Indeed it did, for in the blink of an eye, the two had swapped places.
“I’ve been possessed by a ghost of sorts. It seems to have the power to swap the places of any two objects it has touched. However, no one seems to be able to see it but myself.”
Cade stammered with his words as he tried to process what had just happened before him
“I’m- I- I...” He sighed “Hell with it..” Cade finally gave up upon even trying to understand
“Who is it you need to get in contact with..” He set down his hat, standing up and turning to a large cupboard to pull on a little heating system to produce his tea..

The design was mine, it was custom made by Wyatt Glen ( I’ll find a link to his website if I can ) And the shield cost about 1,700$ to construct and 400$ for the armor :D
