Hey guys, I’ve been inactive here, and I likely won’t return much, but hope everyone’s doing well.

Any advice on how to find out which college is best for you?

I think realistically, it all depends on your finances and financial aid. If you can pull out certain scholarships from one university more than the other, that’s one thing to look at. That as well as distance, dorming options, meal plans, etc. Just have those in mind. Then you can narrow it to your top 3-5 you want. Maybe have 2 that can be your dream university, and 3 more practical. See which ones you can reach or strive to. Check out the programs in each school and see which ones are best for your interest in major and if you’re not sure, research a bit anyway. Look into the school’s ranking and what they’re known for, etc. It’s also best if you can actually physically visit the campus itself! That way you’ll really have a feel for it what it’s like and the town around it. 

Just remember, not everything is permanent too. You can go to school. I remember having a friend who talked to her roommate about something with moving on and finding her own self. And supposedly, she took her advice because she found out the roommate is now in a school in New York because she transferred.

So don’t worry about it too much. Follow your gut and see what suits you most at the moment or for your future. And if you’re in a country where college is free, forget the first part of the answer.
