INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the seedship COSMOS! We hope you enjoy your one-time trip to the planet OGYGIA, as you're about 300 light years away from Earth by now, and invite you to watch this gnome-like engineer fumble her way through finding a way back home!
RULES OF CONDUCT
You agree to not be a dick. Some level of abrasiveness may be accepted for the sake of interesting asks and interactions, but you must understand: This is fiction. Treat your fellow askers and the writer of the blog with respect. Don't unnecessarily cause harm.
You agree to not be sexual. Don't be weird.
You agree to not be bigoted. Don't be weird.
You acknowledge that the writer has control over the story in the end. Whether or not your ask is accepted depends on many factors, but if you try to entirely derail the plot by solving every problem instantly you're not going to get a response. Sit and wait. Things will turn out okay.
You acknowledge that your powers as askers are limited. While you might be able to have some small impact on the story, you aren't going to be able to summon water inside someone's lungs. Feel free to conjure trinkets, though, as long as they aren't too critically important...
You acknowledge that the story does not revolve around you. Sometimes, what you say won't be accepted. Sometimes, the characters in the story will act outside of your input, or believe things that aren't true. Sometimes, the characters in the story will be compromised in some way that prevents them from responding to you. The story won't always go the way you want it to, even if you try your hardest.
You acknowledge that even still, the things you say matter. Your actions still matter, even if they may not change anything in the end. Even small actions of kindness or malice will shape the way the narrative flows, and your voice may be a rallying force or a tool of despair if you only speak up and let it be heard.
INFORMATION
The writer of the story will occasionally make posts and answer asks out of character. These will be tagged with #OOC.
Fully text posts with no asks will be tagged with #CUTSCENE POST.
Posts with one or more answered asks will be tagged with #ANSWER POST.
If you want to formulate your ask as a sort-of-character response - an example being "[x] crouches near [y] and speaks" - you can do that. You're definitely not gonna be visible though, at least for a long while.
Chrysos is a little silly sometimes. But she isn't stupid.
