One of the students in the General Studies course was tasked with bringing the new teacher and hero at UA his course work from the printer by another teacher. Her uniform didn't match the others, it had all the same basic elements, the white button down shirt, the grey blazer with the green stripes, the green skirt and brown shoes and tall socks, but all of them were more stylized, like something some main character magical girl would wear to school. Instead of a red tie she has a red bow with a star shaped, green center gem set in gold. Instead of the average sleeves or tall socks, hers are ruffled. Instead of inside loafers her shoes are brown marry janes. Her hair is dark brown, almost black, and pulled back with a huge green bow that matches school colors, the tips of her locks dyed blue and her bangs in an almost Hime style. Her eyes have actual heart shaped shines in them and theyre big, brown, and full of visible wonder, and her face is very round. "Mr Superman, sir?" She knocks on the door as she enters, carrying the stack of papers. Her footsteps are as light as his are when he's floating a bit. "My name is Satinka, lovely to meet you. I brought the papers you printed"
“Just Superman, please.” Superman said with a chuckle. “I was more than willing to get them myself, but thank you.” He added giving her a grateful smile.
“You’re a gen ed student right? How are you liking the school year so far?”
"One of the other teachers asked me to bring them so they could use the printer. The school year is going fine, just... not what I imagined I'd be studying," she shrugs awkwardly, setting the papers on his desk. "My parents didn't want to sign off on me coming to UA at all, I managed to talk them down by promising to go for general studies... they wouldn't even agree to business course," she sighs. "But at least I'm not stuck at the base highschool, I never got along with the other brats," she chuckles. "Oh, uh... military brats... it's what all the soldiers call us kids born into military families"
“Ah.” Superman said in understanding before leaning in to whisper something to her. “My wife was an army brat, so I already knew that.” He said with a smirk, giving her a wink as he leans back. “So what did you want to study?” He asked curiously.
"Oh, sorry... I'm not used to people off base knowing what it means, my homeroom teacher actually got on to me for calling myself a brat..." she awkwardly twirls the side burn parts of her hair around her finger. "It doesn't matter, I got no chance of transferring, part of my parents terms was to not even do the sports festival... I'm not allowed to fight under any circumstances..."
“It matters.” Superman said kindly. “Come on, what course? And why didn’t they want you to even do the sports festival?”
"Like I said, not allowed to fight under any circumstances," she shakes her head. "The sports festival has a lot of it... and being a hero would be non stop fighting..." she mumbles the last part, casting her gaze down to the floor. "I, uh... used to fight a lot as a kid... got dad in trouble with his bosses... especially when I'd fight the kids of his bosses"
“Really? So even if there’s a villain attack and there’s no heroes around to help you?” Superman asked raising an eyebrow. “Though I suspect that you sneak off and do your own thing anyway, since I saw you the other night when I took down that Nomu.”
She squeaks, "well, uh, no, not even then... but technically I'm not fighting when I sneak off like that... guess my quirk doesn't do enough to change my appearance and hide me..." she fidgets, twisting part of her sleeve around her finger now. "But... I probably still shouldn't be using it like that... even if it's not technically me fighting..."
Superman nods. “Technically true.” He said firmly. “Do you want to be a hero though?” He asked after a moment. “Ignoring what your parents say, what does your heart, your soul, say to that question?”
She takes a deep breath, looking up at him again as her outfit changes, becoming even more magical girl like as a sparkle surrounds her, brightening her features in shades of pink. "That even the worst, darkest parts of me can still do good... even if that good looks more like if Batman became a magical girl. Oh, yeah, that's my quirk. Magical Girl. I can't turn it off, lowest I can go is 5%, and I don't have full control over the lower percentages... I haven't used it to fight on my own since I was a kid, though, I mostly use it to boost other people up... but you're always finished with the fight before I can try"
Superman nods. “Yeah sorry about that.” He apologizes with a chuckle. “How to put this, there are times where I feel like I live in a world made out of cardboard, if I’m not careful I could really hurt someone. So I try to end fights as fast as possible before things get too destructive. If you want, I can mentor you.” He explained and offered. “That way, at the very least you can get into underground heroics.”
"Like Aizawa... or his buddy Knuckle Duster?" She chuckles. "Because he's acrually offered to teach me before, I turned him down because that would require actually fighting... and losing a couple teeth learning, I've seen him try to teach somebody else to fight before." She tilts her head as she thinks, "though... I guess I am already technically a vigilante due to how I've been using my quirk already... just more a support vigilante than an active one..." the sparkles start to turn purple and red, causing a more ominous transformation to occure across her clothes, the blue in her hair that had started to lighten now drastically darkens. "And I hate letting my parents control my life so tightly just because one drill seargent threatened dad's job almost 10 years ago now... like, what are they gonna do when I graduate? Make me get a boring job in retail?" She talks faster and her voice grows more bitter as she has this realization of how her parents are controlling her, her appearance getting darker and her grey blazer turning black. "Like, when I told them I wanted to go to UA dad even said "that's too bad, I make the rules in this house and you're not going to some stupid hero school" but with a ton more swearing!" She blinks, stopping herself from continuing and taking a deep breath, counting quietly. As she does so, her appearance goes back to the way it had been when she first entered the classroom. "That's why I don't argue with them, right... no control over the base usage of my quirk and can't turn it off..."
“Okay, so one of the things we should focus on is power control.” Superman muttered grabbing a small notebook, like the ones reporters use, and writing a note. At a glance it doesn’t even look like English, either a type of shorthand or another language entirely.
"Either you're a reporter out of that costume or you're using Kryptonian, either way thay looks like chicken scratch, Superman," she chuckles. "Or a doctor but you don't strike me as the type. Control at higher levels is actually a lot easier for me, as if my quirk works backwards or something"
“I am secretive about my private life, but yes, I was a reporter a long time ago.” Superman chuckled. “And that’s interesting.” He added writing down another note. “If you don’t mind leaving Japan for a day I could take you to the Fortress of Solitude to run some tests sometime.”
"So long as Nezu is fine with it and my parents don't find out... they don't know I'm a vigilante. My dad was actually complaining over the phone last week about my darker persona... the one the internet had dubbed Demon Princess... he seems to be neutral to Butterfly Princess, though"
“Ah so that’s what your alias is.” Superman chuckled. “Anyway, I think Nezu would allow it if it’s bundled with a trip for the hero course.”
“Indeed I will.” Nezu said tumbling out of an air vent above them and landing perfectly. “In fact, I don’t see why it can’t be a joint field trip between classes 1-A and 1-C.” He decided.
"Well, I haven't come up with anything official, that's just what the internet keeps calling me," she shrugs. "But all the best heroes got their hero names from the people they helped back in the day, right?"
She squeaks and jumps back, staring wide eyed at Nezu which just makes her look more like a sailor moon rip off. "Principal Nezu! I don't think air vents are meant to hold any kind of weight, or cleaned very often, how long were you in there?" She does her best, which is shockingly good, to hide that she's worried he heard she's a vigilante
“He was napping up there.” Superman chuckled. “I heard him breathing. You woke him up when you came in.”
“Yup!” Nezu said walking up to Satinka. “Now, I know you’re a vigilante, however with the current…climate we need as much help as we can get.”

@princess-of-themescara
Diana rushes past other heroes in the watchtower, holding her phone as she zooms straight for Clark. "Kal! Damian showed me this ticky tocky page that shows you dogs that have been good throughout the week! I will be ordering shirts and sweaters, would you like one? They say "tell your dog I say hi" on them!" Her hair is a mess, like she skipped half her routine to come show him, with curls sticking out at weird angles and frizzing up from the lack of moisture in the recycled air of the watchtower
Clark gives her the biggest smile. “Awe, look at that one, and how he crosses his paws when he lies down!” He comments. “Thanks Diana, but I’m good on the shirt front. Lois and I figured out a way to change quickly without loosing my clothes everywhere. So I’m good on clothes for now.”
"Did she make Bruce pay to have trackers put in the seems? He had that done to my cape the second to last time I could not find it among my closet, but then I couldn't figure out the app so he put it on Jason's phone instead and now I call him and he directs me through my own closet over the phone. Maybe I should go through that, actually... I haven't gotten rid of any clothes since I left Themescara originally," Diana admits. "That's a lot of, uh... vintage?" She chuckles, smiling awkwardly. "I admit, I have developed a bit of a clothing addiction... very little wares out when you have more than a handful of outfits"
“No, I just uh, put them in specific parts of Metropolis and Lois picks them up once a week.” Clark admits a bit sheepishly.
"Ah, partner privileges... I've not experienced the modern versions. Apparently Dick has Starfire handle all the spiders in their apartment and Tim has Connor grab things when they've been forgotten in other rooms, I do not understand their laziness. Spiders are usually rather harmless across North America, and Tim is just blatantly taking advantage of Connor's speed," she muses aloud. "Oh, we've strayed far from the topic of dogs! I was thinking of getting one, you have experience with such creatures, do you have any advice?"
“Arachnophobia is a genuine thing though.” Clark pointed out. “Lois has it. She has stared down mob bosses and supervillains and even Darkseid without flinching, but as soon as she sees a spider, she immediately screams and runs out of the room.”
“Try getting one that matches your lifestyle. Like if you want a dog that isn’t very high energy and can keep your lap warm, get a Shi-Tzu. You want a smart one, get a German Shepard. Outdoorsy, a lab, high energy and loves the cold, Husky.” Clark lists off the top of his head. Just then Krypto tackles Clark to the ground.
“High energy and smart with super powers? A Kryptonian.” Clark laughed as Krypto licked his face.
"A true shame that Krypto is the last of his breed then," Diana chuckles, kneeling down to pet him. "Though a companion I could bring safely to battle with me does sound nice... perhaps I can speak to uncle Hades about that, if I remember correctly Cerberus is due for breeding again soon. Every few centuries uncle Hades allows Cerberus to breed ao he doesn't get aggressive"
“Never thought about Cerberus breeding before.” Clark said as Krypto let him get up. Krypto then flew over to Diana and started licking her face.

As the Red Hood gang enter their warehouse, one of the goons looks in the main room, then at Jason. “Uh boss? We got any Kryptonite bullets?” He asked pointing at Superman, who is floating in the main room, giving the entire gang a very disappointed look.
@ask-superman
Jason groans loudly, sounding more like a teen upset about a parent finding their hide out than a badass gang leader. "No... Batman and Luthor beat me to the latest Kryptonite auction, again. It's on the list... just don't provoke him and you guys should be fine," he waves the goons off. "I'll talk to him and see what we can work off," Jason enters the main room, crossing his arms as he looks up at Clark
“So you’re the red hood.” Superman said floating downwards to him so they can talk. He narrowed his eyes as he used his x-ray vision, and couldn’t see through the helmet. “Lead.” He muttered. “You’ve done your homework. Although be careful, that much lead on your head could lead to lead poisoning.”
"Well I wouldn't need the lead if you weren't so damn nosey, boy scout," Jason sasses, glad he included the voice changer but not too sure how well it'll work long term with Clark. "Or if you stayed in your own damn city. Did Batman invite you?"
“Someone close to him.” Superman said. Hinting that it was Alfred. “After all, you broke his leg. Gotta fill in for him while he recovers.”
"Well, Nightwing is still pissed at him, and the shitty new Robin doesn't get enough sleep to think ahead like that," Jason muses. "So the buttler? He'd never ask you directly himself. And ya knoe, if he had just backed off my guys when I told him to I wouldn't have had to break his leg, we were just handling some business like any other gang," he shrugs, acting way too relaxed compared to other gang leaders when confronted by Clark. "We only took a couple of fingers from the other gang leader, we were playing nice, Batman didn't even need to bother"
Clark’s eyes widen. “How on earth did you know about-?” He asked panicking. Good gosh Bruce ain’t gonna like this.
Jason snickers under the helmet. "What, did the bat forget to warn you about how much I know? How do you think I managed to break his leg when almost every inch of that stupid suit is armored? I have my-" he stops mid sentence when the sound of a metal tool hitting the ground rings through the warehouse, his heart beating faster like a panic attack. As he turns slowly towards the door one of his goons runs in, panting. "It's just a screwdriver, Boss, nothing to worry about! Vinney's gonna be bringing you a cup of hot tea with a straw so you can drink it under the helmet, and we're moving the new guy to the grass patch to finish working on the bike, you ain't gonna hear that sound again for the rest of the night!"
Jason nods, swallowing the lump in his throat. "Right... if the new guy keeps dropping things nickname him Butterfingers and take him off repairs, don't let word get around the crew about that stupid sound though."
"On it, Boss, ain't gonna have another metal tool hitting the concrete, promise," the goon leaves again, and Vinney can be heard distantly only by Clark as he makes a cup of tea for the Hood
“Deep slow breaths.” Clark advised. He can’t help it. He helps everyone he can.
Wait a minute. The voice…the modulator masks it but if he concentrated, and with the panic attack from a metal tool hitting the ground. “Jason?” He asked slowly.
As soon as the door is shut he sits on the ground, pulling his helmet off, his breathing ragged. "Fuck off, Clark, if you start lecturing me about my life choices after death I'm calling your wife and telling her about the stupid playful flirting you do with Bruce to embarrass the Robins," he hisses out defensively before Clark gets a good look at his face. Once he has his breathing under control he lifts his head, a huge j shaped scar on the side of his face
Clark took in Jason’s face. His eyes lingering on the J shaped brand. “I’m sorry I wasn’t able to save you.” He said regretfully. He still remembers hearing everything that Jason went through while he was dealing with a natural disaster. “I even offered to travel back in time slightly. Barry told me that would do more harm than goods though.”
"I didn't want you to save me... I was at peace thinking I was saving my mother, that she only worked with him because she was scared..." he starts to stand back up, his heart rate quickening again but this time from anger as he raises his voice. "What I'm pissed off at is the clown is still out there, doing whatever the fuck he wants! He still gets sent to Arkham despite breaking out constantly! He's still hurting people! Still the worst villain in Gotham! Still mocking my death!" He kicks his helmet at Clark, taking a pack of cigarettes from his pocket. Not the brand he carried as a kid when Clark caught him one Halloween at the Hall of Justice. A different brand. One that was found in the debris when Jason's body was dug out, next to his mother's mangled and burnt body
“Jason…” Clark said warningly, glaring at the cigarettes. “That brand, that’s the kind your mother used?” He asked rhetorically.
“What do you want? For me and Bruce to give the joker what he wants and kill him?” Clark asked raising an eyebrow. “You do know he put a special vial of joker gas inside himself right? Designed to released if he dies, turning whoever kills him into the next joker. He bragged about this last month and I confirmed with my x-ray vision.”
"Anything! Arkham hasn't worked, so why the hell did nobody try Belle Reve?! Or literally any other prison?! Why not send him to Apokolips?! Why has nothing more been done?! Hell, he doesn't have to die to be rendered incapable of harming anyone, why not just cripple the bastard?! Put him in a medical coma?! Lock him in some kind of object with magic so he's not dead but can't hurt anyone else?! The possabities are literally endless with some of the heroes in this world yet he's still running free!"
“First of all I’d never send anyone to Apokolips.” Clark said darkly. “We don’t trust Belle Reve for someone like the Joker, mostly because of Waller. Constantine and Dr. Fate want nothing to do with him, and Zatanna said he gives her the ick.” Clark listed. “Oh and medical comas are only viable for short term use. And before you mention it; the Phantom Zone is lethal to humans.”
"And this is exactly why no killing rules are stupid!" Jason growls as he stomps closer to Clark. "The fucker has killed how many?! And you don't want to risk any lethal possibilities even if it negates his stupid blood poison like the phantom zone?! The world would be so much safer without that asshole clown in it and you don't want to get your hands dirty! I'm not the only person that bastard has killed!"
“…you know how I feel about killing.” He said giving Jason a stern look. “You were dead when it happened, but there was a hero team called the Elite. They were preaching the same thing you just said. The people loved them, then they took their authority too far. To beat them I had to show the world what it’d be like if I operated under that mindset. And it scared everyone, even me.”
As the Red Hood gang enter their warehouse, one of the goons looks in the main room, then at Jason. “Uh boss? We got any Kryptonite bullets?” He asked pointing at Superman, who is floating in the main room, giving the entire gang a very disappointed look.
