He knows about the hunt for Gabriel, and does his best to help him escape Whitty. He has dark magic as well, but only uses it for healing, sometimes for fighting. It takes a lot of his energy, however.

Updike and Whitty belong to Sock.Clip, the header is from the mod, though in no way, shape, or form is this Updike AND Whitty associated with FnF. Oculus belongs to me. The pfp was drawn by me.

I've decided I want to put in an ask for Gabe.(You can ignore this part if you want, it doesn't really matter as much as the actual ask)
So: Gabe, what made you decide to leave TGG? I'm curious. Was it regret? Guilt? The realization that certain targets were actually quite good people(such as Whitty)? A combination of those? Or was it something else entirely?
Gabe sits quietly for a moment, finding the right way to explain it.
"I suppose it's because of all of those reasons. The company tended to... 'start us out young', persay. At least, that was my case. You never interact with these so called "monsters" until you stray from your duties. I hesitated one time with Whitty, and... well, I suppose he noticed that and took the chance to talk me down. It wasn't until weeks of talking to him that I realized just how corrupted that company is."
He adjusts his glasses for a moment, them smiles. "Either way, I will never regret choosing to abandon that company. If that makes me one of their targeted 'monsters', then so be it."
Accent: Slight british (has been in the states long enough to start losing the accent)
Occupation: Local therapist (mostly to friends)
Sexuality: Homosexual
Hobbies: Writing, practice shooting, works on his computer a lot.
Abilities: Electricity. He has to reteach himself how to use it after he spend his years at TGG suppressing it entirely. (It was not an easy thing to relearn, and he still struggles with it since it is emotion based.)
He wears rubber infused gloves to protect others when he is emotional or on edge.
Personality: Unlike his canon(?) self, he is friends with Whitty, and has become fairly selfless, tending to put them over himself. That isn't to say he won't be blunt with you. He's brutally honest, and doesn't think sugarcoating is necessary in most situations. Regardless, he's almost always up to help when needed.
Past: He has since abandoned his life at TGG years ago in favor of redeeming himself for hunting so many. Whitty helps him with this, having realized Gabe was determined to gain his trust and friendship. He deals with the guilt of chasing Whitty and others for so long, and takes it upon himself to keep TGG off their tracks.
Man barely sleeps and runs on coffee and cigarettes. Whitty nags him about it a lot.

I apologize for the absence, I've been focused on other fandoms lately, as well as work. Regarding the swap story, I'm not quite sure what will happen.
Whether I rewrite it, keep it, etc. Although I've mostly been focused on my own version/design of Updike! And, if you all would like, you may send him asks and such to get to know him! I can do an infosheet on him as well.

As for Gabe's burn, he decided to try and "take control" of his powers, if you will. He can get hurt from them as well, and during one of these times, think of getting hit in the stomach by a whip while practicing because it recoiled. But instead of a whip, it's lightning.
He hasn't been having a good time. But your question is much appreciated!! <33

As the camera flickered to life once more, it was clear more time had passed. Except, Gabriel wasnât warmly greeting the camera like he normally was. Instead, it showed a boy- around in his late teens- with blue hair frantically trying to turn the camera on. Once he saw it light up, he sighed in relief.
âAlright, he said he had friends watching..?â Eyes gazing towards the camera again, he gave a nervous smile. âUh- hey! If anyone can hear me, my name is Keith. I uh-â He seemed nervous before a familiar chuckle came from off to the side. âLet me see it, dear.â
Keith handed it to him instantly, and Gabriel smiled at the camera. âHello, everyone. Been a while, huh?â He was leaning against an alleyway wall, arm laying across his stomach. âI left Oculasâ a week or so ago. Just a few days ago, I found Keith here. Poor dear found me at my worst-â
âHowâs the burn..?â
Updike thought for a moment, glancing down at where his arm lay, then sighed. âThe same. Although-â He gave a tired smile towards the camera. âThatâs a story for a different day.â Keith looked unsure, but sighed. âLetâs get back to the apartment. We can plan our next move there.â
Updike nodded, and with a warm farewell to the camera, it flickered off.
