morgana holds up her fingers as she counts the important things that she packed. she really did no wanna go. due to her wandering there may be a point where she will run into petunia. but for now she put that to the back of her mind.

She marched up to Cotton without hesitation, punching her right in the jaw before grabbing her shirt in her fist and pulling her towards herself, her voice low, but seething. “Don’t you dare call me that again. Joshua set a small bag down on the ground as he sat down himself with his legs crossed. “Hi Malachi!” He greets warmly. “So, what reading level would you say you’re at currently?”

“What are reading levels? I haven’t really read much at home.. Coral making me read so she can take care of me…” Malachi asked then explained.

Joshua blinked several times after hearing his initial question. “Right, so, there are different school grades that are used as reading levels! We’ll start with something simple.” Joshua said as he picked up what was clearly a children’s book.

“Oh they showed us those at home! Like before they send us off to work and deal with everything.” Malachi said excited. “Coral gives me a bunch so I can read while she and Jessy read a lot more. And weird numbers..”

Malachi nodded and read the book, he was well in these because Coral and Jesaiah send a lot of time making him reading these right.
