My hc varies pretty greatly from Canon, particularly ages & specific familial ties.

I'm not a historian by any stretch, please be kind if I mess up something.

Belgium: Everyone here has! Except for Will, and obviously the little ones.

Iceland: Can I not be included in the little ones?

Norway: No, and not the current topic.

Netherlands: Those of us who did meet him only did a couple times... minus Emma.

Belgium: Due to a misunderstanding and a couple lies he thought I was his daughter and I thought he was my papa until I was about five haha

Belgium: It all got fixed though, so don't worry!

Prussia: Fixed meaning Romulus finally connected the dots on why his 'daughter' looked nothing like him, and suspiciously like his head of guard and disowned her.

Denmark: in what we like to call The Baby Sister Acquisition of '37

Norway: He is the only one who calls it that.

Guys, let's be honest here. Who cheats at Monopoly?

Netherlands: I want New York and Pennsylvania back.

England: it’s not my fault you had to give them up because you’re broke!

Denmark: both of you shut up, the only important thing is that I get Baltic from Björn!

Sweden: Not until I get Delaware back from Ned.

Belgium: There isn't a Delaware card?

Germany: I don't think they're talking about monopoly anymore.

Prussia: And we're all broke anyway! How did that happen??

Switzerland, counting ALL of the monopoly money: No clue.

I feel Sweden might be the best cook in the gang tbh, at least in modern times. Not that fancy restaurant stuff, but nice home-cooked meals. He probably gets a lot of practice since he'd at the very least have to cook for Ladonia (& Sealand, depending on how you hc him), in fairness, and he's canonly good at many household stuff. I can see Austria being second best cook for similar reasons, while the rest mainly knows how to get around but would rather one of the others cook. Then there's England's cooking. xD

Austria: Generally you would be correct, Björn is best at simpler meals, and I'm better at what you would consider 'restaurant level'

Luxembourg: Though sometimes he makes some weird things... like pickled herring.

Sweden: What's wrong with pickled herring?

Belgium: Nothing if you're Swedish.

England: My cooking is just fine!

Prussia: you gave me food poisoning!

England: You could have gotten that from anywhere!

Sweden: and he wonders why Peter likes coming over so much.

Austria: considering he’s been dead for 1500 years I would hope not.

England: I see what anon is getting to though, this is implying we’re uncivilized and I believe we’re the exact opposite… or most of us are.

What do you guys do for the holidays? Do you ever get together and celebrate it with each other?

Norway: Depends on which one, our national days--our functional birthdays--we typically spend together.

Netherlands: We don't spend Christmas together, at least not all of us, but we do try to make plans for the last day of Yule.

Germany: that one usually ends up doubling as a New Years party.

England: Anything else is sort of a toss up, with so many holidays between us all spending everything together is completely unreasonable.

why aren't the micronations here all the time?

Sealand: We have much more important things to do than answering questions all the time!

Ladonia: Like our war!

Sealand: We are not as war, and you insisting so is tearing the micronations apart!

Kugelmugel: the real reason is the two of them can't spend more than five minutes together.

Denmark: well its not like we live together, but when we have family dinners whoever is hosting is responsible for food!

England: It's a rotation, and it's my turn next!

Denmark: we all do! Family tradition basically, I always win.

Sweden: You always won when we were kids.

Netherlands: and that was only because you're the oldest and had at least a few years on all of us.

Austria: Bigger the age gap the less impressive it was.

Switzerland: Like if you're 19 and your opponent is 12.

Belgium: and even then Heidi could beat you.

Denmark: I went easy on Heidi because she was my little sister.

Prussia: Someone is embarrassed to admit his little sister could pin him in five minutes.

England: I don't like fighting even playing.

Norway: That was only because papa didn't let us play fight with you.

Belgium: not his fault he was the baby, who would have wanted to fight him anyway?

England: Stop calling me the baby!

Is Germany allowed to date as Prussia seem rather overprotective at times and knowing what family can be like sometimes they ban you from dating so is he allowed to date?

Germany: I am I allowed to date, but I'm not very interested and-

Prussia: No one is good enough for my boy!

Who was the first one to go to jail

Switzerland: that's a complicated question. Probably Gilbert.

Prussia: I haven't been in jail since-...

Prussia: Harald when was our last night out?

Denmark: 2 months ago.

Prussia: I haven't been in jail since March and it was just a holding cell!

Belgium: It was Sigurd, once he, Björn, and Harald were in Rome with papa and Sigurd did something that made Romulus mad and ended himself in a cell for a couple days.

Norway: I almost forgot about that... what did I even do?

Sweden: *shrugs*

Netherlands: could have been anything, if I remember right wasn't hard to make Romulus mad.

Denmark: Extremely easy! He was mad at Emma just for existing!

Belgium: in his defence Gallia Belgica was supposed to be Roman...

Austria: but so was Noricum

Switzerland: and Helvetia.

England: and Britannia.

questions for Iceland do you feel lonely especially with being distant from the other Nordics and Germanics on the map so are you ok? I understand sometimes being physically distant from family can take a toll on you and if you feel lonely do you tell the others about it?

Iceland: It used to be a lot harder, modern technology makes being so far away easier. I suppose I never really talked about it, this family isn't the best with expressing emotions if you didn't notice.

Iceland: plus being all the way out here means I get to be the cool and mysterious oldest cousin.

Liechtenstein: you're really not all that mysterious...

Luxembourg: and we've seen you cry over My Little Pony so we don't think you're cool either.

Germany: I think you're cool and mysterious Ari.

Iceland: takk Lutz, at least someone notices I try.

so Prussia are you Germanys dad or brother or did you adopt him cause I can’t tell you act like an overprotective mother towards him but also act like an annoying older brother towards him as well

Prussia: I'm biologically Ludwig's father, I'm just a cool dad so we're more like friends!

Germany: I really wish you would stop saying that.

Prussia: What you don't want to be my friend?

Prussia: But what other friends do you even have?

Germany: Henri, Ari, Liesl, Alfred, Jack, Eleanor...

anyway Austria why do you marry to fix thing wouldn’t just fighting and not being a coward be better I mean you fail most wars even when married so I don’t see why trying to fight yourself is something your so against I mean I know historically you were weak but still

Prussia: That is what we have all been saying anon!

Austria: I was not a coward! You don't call Aldrich a coward for staying neutral on everything!

Switzerland: Leave me out of this.

Austria: As for the answer, I don't control what ways my bosses decide to handle things; and I was not weak, I was a military power for many years I just didn't like personally getting my hands dirty.

Prussia: and he was a coward, you should ask Harald what Roderich was doing during the The Second Schleswig War 

Austria: Someone shut him up!
