A story-driven ask-blog following the adventures of the Shaymin Guild as they complete their duties...
And all the dangers that come with it...
This is a story-driven ask blog, taking place in a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon world, following the exploits of a particular Guild and their members as they go about their lives working through guild-related tasks or with their fellow Guilds...
And all the dangers that come with it...
-----
There will be heavy subjects discussed or portrayed on this blog, such as violence, blood and the general theme overall is a theme of loss, among other things... all of which will be tagged accordingly!
Plot updates on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday!
This blog has been rebooted/remade using some of the same cast of characters that were going to be a part of the original version, however, their personalities and overall character is different from the originals. This post will update with new links or details as the blog progresses. I also run @askthepokemutants, @askdeceptiveliepard and @askextraparainspector!
[[From this point on, asks are open towards these five ONLY. There will be no major updates until everything for the rest of "Day 3" is completed, which includes what the journal entry in the Founder's Book is about, a scene that was pushed back to after this alongside a few other smaller setups for Chapter 3/Gil-related things.

[They definitely don't "use" them... outcasts gotta stick together after all-]
Previous
Continued From [Mystery & Warden]
Continued From [Lil, Dios & Glacia]
[[Moving the scenario linked to this to AFTER everything else happens. This-alongside another thing-will be the "end of day" scenes instead of a Lands Below-related update. Next time we see them, we're not leaving for a bit... ;D]]

[This one off conversation is definitely not (see is) setting up a decision one of these two are going to make in the future, promise-
It's been a while, but Mystery's waiting on her family to show up. I cut to the chase for this set of updates and cut some context here and there... simply put, the conversation was meant to happen as they walked there, but... this is simpler.]

How many irons do you have in the fire with this comic, feels like theirs lots of threads all tangled up XD
******Little disclaimer here, I'm not upset, my way of speaking/typing is just... blunt sometimes, I apologize if it seems I'm angry in my response below!******
For simplicity's sake: 4! Also, no worries, not really concerned about being misgendered, it happened before a very long time ago online and was hilarious to me at the time, but: he/him!
There's a main plot, and three branches that weave into that story-line no matter what. I'll elaborate a bit, though it'll be under read-more since I might just be explaining my plot at this point.
Simple answer is: We have one road we're going down, but that road has twists and turns that may feel "tangled up" because of the way I'm presenting them, but do lead somewhere.
Also a reminder that, while this all turned into a web-comic and I half-jokingly refer to it as such both online and to the few who know I do this blogging thing IRL, this is meant to be an askblog. Things... just didn't work out that way, so I'm kind of just... turning anything that would've been answered via ask into this comic format.
Chapter 3 is NOT going to do this. I will be following the format where we progress a bit, get to a point where the characters can be interacted with and we'll just be there for a while, that's it. And yes, there will be moments like the first half of Chapter 2, that's just how I planned this out. I personally do not want this to become a webcomic 100%. If I did, I'd rework everything, and just start over entirely. I wouldn't be pushing forwards and I probably wouldn't be posting it under the "ask" name or here for that matter-to be blunt.
Anyway, under the read-more is what I said initially, it explains a bit more about what's going on and the direction of the blog for anyone else curious:
No matter what happens, there is a main plot-line that will guide the story forwards regardless of the smaller character-focused events: The main-overarching plot is the Lands Below-related subjects, basically, the Shadows, what they hinted at and the guild's overall concerns about being pushed towards more missions in insanely risky territory with mostly rookies.
The first branch is the road we're currently on as a result of the Poll: Chapter 3's focus is primarily on the Heroes' descendants (hence, Icarus showing up), other humans who "didn't go back" and how their descendants play a role (so, the subject of "Gifts") and the Heroes' Partners' descendants. Also, "That Clan". This is as close of an explanation I'm giving. Not being rude or blunt or anything, but it's something that I'm not really being coy about either, I'm just not overtly explaining what that means here. The primary antagonists (The guys in grey-ish white outfits) are associated and have been peppered into these updates on and off, with Icarus being a "low-stakes" secondary antagonist so to speak. While not the starting point, this is what Warden's Interrogation was setting up.
The various special tags I've used acts as the second branch: "Always Watching" & "A Quiet Smile" specifically and anything related to the subject of "The Voice" is another branch, but with the vote, this isn't being explored deeper than what's going to happen as the cap-off to Chapter 2-without giving anything away. Various associated things have been hinted at thus far, but I will not be linking them here or elaborating on what posts and what characters this impacts. The Museum of Lost Legends can be seen as another hint towards this route, among others, but it.. turned into something it really wasn't meant to be with me lore-dumping directly as opposed to giving an idea of what happened to certain legendary Pokemon. Moe's focus on translating the journal entry is a HUGE part of this as well, but we'll be circling back to this later, unfortunately.
The third branch is meant to be a "neutral route", where the focus was more on things relating to the Skies Above in general, like the outlaws, Water Clan, etc. Some of this is a constant in the main story-line and will be explore in spite of the poll, but the roles groups play are diminished on the current route.
