this is a post to go into more of a deep dive of this au for people that don’t know much about it, and give some fun facts about both deadbeat and nt3K along the way!!!, which will be divided into parts, this being deadbeats part
(deadbeats backstory/abilities)
the ggs were gonna fight gouji, atleast they were. But since a “devil cd” sounded ridiculous to everyone, they decided not to go. But that means that gouji actually summoned this supposed demon, he had one wish to ask of the demon, and while he was thinking of it, the demon, being a little shit. granted a random one he thought of because he was getting impatient, that wish being: infusing every multiverse and universe that’s possible into one version of Tokyo-to, that being this one. In order for that to be possible though, he expanded the earth 10 sizes and made Tokyo-to the only place you can visit on said earth. Afterwards he left, and gouji got super pissed…
then couple decades, whatever later. boom. one day deadbeat was born, she was born into a family of dysfunctional zombies, and yes. They were very much abusive… though for them. it’s normal, her species of zombies don’t feel emotion or sympathy at all, considering their dead, and the brain ain’t firing off anymore, when she was born, they noticed that she had dna of multiple animals and beings in her, which is cat, alien, red panda, if you can think it, she probably had it, during her younger years. she was taught to do a lot of stuff by herself, the most important thing that shapes her now is her abilities with rubber, her species was created due to a zombie apocalypse a long time ago in old tokyo-to, that eventually was controlled, but the zombies got kept for research and testing, after one test went right, the zombies acted like normal humans without functional emotions, which the scientists declared “good enough” and let them roam the streets, one day, a zombie was exploring an abandoned factory, and slipped on the railing while overlooking the melted rubber vat, and got dipped inside for a while, after being let out and back into society, he made a family that eventually spread the rubber infusion across tons of different zombies
ZOMBIE EVOLUTION!!! but, on the topic of deadbeat, she taught herself how to control being able to stretch her limbs and any part of her body to a limitless amount, after a good while of growing up, she was 12. and around here is when she realized she could shapeshift, which for this species, it’s considered. “Unnatural”. So she kept it a secret, while growing up she was a huge fan of the multiple different aus and variations of the GGs, beat in specific, so she wanted to collect different beat clothing, glasses, headphones, etc! How though? … Slaughter of course! After a while of killing countless beats, which took years, she finally got everything she needed after all those years (she’s about 16) alllll but one part, rollerblades, one day she went exploring and stumbled across a factory with a beat graffitiing inside, and of course, she attempted to kill him and steal his skates. it was a struggle but eventually… she got thrown in a pit of acid
(pause! + a fun fact, deadbeat cannot be hurt physically in any way shape or form, and shecan’t feel pain through those means aswell, but she can be melted through the means of fire and acid, which is one of the only thing that hurts TONS for her, now continue …)
luckily for her, it was ankle deep, but unfortunately aswell, it ended up melting her feet off, she grappled up and knocked that beat into another vat of some unknown liquid, killing him, luckily right before he fell fully, she grabbed his blades and shuffled back. her parents weren’t happy to see her lacking feet, but since they didn’t wanna teach her the process of regrowing limbs
(FUN FACT NUMBA 2!: slicing off her limbs don’t effect her in any way shape or form, other then slight annoyance, she can regrow any limb no matter what circumstance, it takes longer when the limb gets burnt off though)
..they got surgery to rewire her dead veins into the rollerblades themself, making the rollerblades her actual feet!, (forgot to specify at the start, but she’s also blind aswell, when she was born she didn’t have eyes, but classified black holes where they were SUPPOSED to be, basically not letting her see, and to see yknow, at all. She had surgery when she was a young child, but only if glasses are on her face, meaning she can do very cartoony expressions with any form of glasses), after that. she never wanted that shit to ever happen again /so she practiced a form of combat she saw online named “breakstyle”, and educated herself on it up until she was 17 years old, which she mastered the form of combat and was very good at doing it. one night while sleeping, she took off her beat glasses that she uses to see, and put it down on the counter, her dad got curious on how durable they were, and ended up breaking them, turning the color on it to black for the squiggly lines, and white for the main color, waking up to this, she was FUMING, which is unusual for her, considering she can’t feel emotion, but she ended up lighting a flame in her parents house, and burnt it down.
she got caught in it though, or atleast, her legs did, she grappled onto something outside and laid on the street, and while the fire was slowly travelling up her body, the grim reaper showed up to possess and talk to her in her mind, telling her that death is approaching , and she’s gonna visit the afterlife, but trying to collect her soul.. it appears that she doesn’t even have a soul! which in the grim reapers terms, means their fucked. they can’t un possess Someone until their soul is fully stolen and put into the afterlife, annoyed, the reaper stayed there, and just did nothing while deadbeat was laying there. after a bit of resting, she decided to hide in any place she could find that hid her, which she chose an abandoned GGs garage, and resided in the place until her legs reformed and the pain resided, the reaper finally said something: “hey. so, I hope you know I’m basically stuck with you until you die, which knowing your nature, im gonna be stuck with you forever, so don’t be an annoying little shit. Please”, deadbeat wanted to respond, but she couldn’t come up with anything to say back, she rested for a long while until a huge rumble happened outside, nt3K arrived Infront of the garage, and checking out his Time Machine, it appeared to be broken, which he went inside the garage near him to find any sort of parts, the only thing he found though being deadbeat
after a while of talking, he decided to stay for a while, and when deadbeat finally got the strength to get up and moving again, she redecorated the garage, made rooms for both her and nt (this garage is more of a home then a garage), and joined a variation of the GGs, the leader turning out to be her sibling, corn, for a while they got along until corn found out that deadbeat was the one who lit their house on fire, and the one who killed his parents, the entirety of the GGs got pissed at both nt and deadbeat, kicking them out of the team
for a while it was just her and her homie, nt. Since while being in the gang, she got along with nt well, and became his homie. time passed, deadbeat turnt 22, and one day while chilling in her bedroom, she got a call from one her niece, scenekidmew, she called her, asking if she could come over, she said yes and when she arrived, there were visible tears in her eyes, deadbeat didn’t really know what to do, so she offered her inside, and after a little tweaking, made the vacant room in the garage hers for when she’s over, deadbeat asked her what was wrong, and while she was venting about what went wrong, she asked if she wanted some weed, which she couldn’t deny, so she smoked some, and immediately chilled out
after a while she really had a bond with her aunt, deadbeat, going over to her house a lot, frustrating corn but, since he doesn’t wanna be a bad father, he lets her over.
ever since, deadbeat has been stuck at that age, and they’ve been doing nothing but dumb shit! deadbeat also got hired to become a stripper for money, which explains why I made her wear a bunny suit, and be filthy rich at the same time
backstory. DONE! Now for her abilities (will edit backstory if some parts are missing btw … expect that)
her main ability is being highly educated in breakstyle, which is a form of combat that involves breakdancing, she wields 2 dual pistols and a skateboard to help her out in combat with said breakstyle aswell
her limbs are infinitely stretchable and the force from wind up punches, they basically give her super strength.
her stomach is a storage unit containing infinite storage, weird. I know; but she uses it to grab gadgets that nt made, or whatever else
her glasses are her eyes and her blades are her feet! Remember that! And since she’s a shapeshifter, any changes I make to her design canonically, is because she shaped herself to look different
the grim reaper can fully possess her body to activate reaperbeat, which is what she uses when she’s almost dead, another form she can use is “The one true fire god.” Which she activates when reaper beat is present, and she’s feeling a tiny bit of an emotion while being taken over (which I also know I said she can’t feel emotion, but it’s rare for her and only her to actually feel it, every other zombie just lacks it), she can take control of another half of her body and activate the one true fire god beat, her weapons are gone but she can now shoot a flame shotgun out of her hands, and fly around using flames, basically. Deadbeat but more op then she already is, and immune to both fire and acid!!!
