To Dean, Cas always brought the smell of the rain with him.

((Dean sat on the trunk of the Impala with a half empty bottle of Budweiser heavy in his hand. Castiel sat to his right, who looked straight ahead and squinted ever so slightly. He had a tight grip on the almost full bottle of beer in his hands. Of course, it was a simple salt and burn type of job they just came from, but Castiel looked...off.

"You looked like someone pissed in your Cheerios, Cas." Dean murmured between small sips of bitter alcohol. He let his eyes wander over to Cas who now tilted his head as he stared strangely at Dean.

"Why would someone want to urinate in my breakfast food?" Cas stated as his eyebrows furrowed slightly. Dean let out a small chuckle as he scooted closer to the confused angel.

"It's an expression." Dean responded. He looked up to Cas's bright blue eyes. Dean could feel words catching in his throat. Subconsciously, he scooted closer to Cas and wettened his throat with the icy brew. Cas held his bottle up and pointed the neck of it towards Dean.

"A toast to us? Isn't that what most humans do when they open up alcohol?" Cas queried. His lips pouted softly waiting for Dean's reply.

"A toast to us." Dean smiled as the clinked the necks of the bottles together. Castiel took a small sip then sat the bottle upon the hood of the Impala. Dean was compelled...pulled towards Cas. As soon as Castiel turned back around, Dean had claimed his lips. They tasted bitter from the alcohol, but still sweet. Cas let out a small whimper as Dean pulled away.

"I didn't know that humans usually accompanied opening alcoholic beverages with that." ))
