ooc: if i were to quit, would you guys be super upset? if you haven't noticed, i've been MIA a lot with stuff IRL, and I've been suffering from ennui as well. i'm not sure if it's an inspiration thing, or a permanent thing. i'm not even sure if i should quit at all, or if i should just start anew. if i quit, would you guys want to stay in touch with skype or something? or if i changed characters, what would you think? this is open to replies, and you can fanmail or message me too. i'm just... not sure what i ought to do these days but i feel this overwhelming feeling i'll be letting everybody down.

Castiel smiled, giving her hand a tight squeeze. "Okay." He said, and then they vanished. Suddenly they were standing in South America, in the jungle, and he was gazing up into the trees. "There!" He shouted, pointing out a marmoset that was peering down at them.

Brown eyes follow the movement of the woman, taking in how this particular human looked and found some qualities similar to the souls that she helped torture. She blinks slowly as she directs her attention back to Castiel.

Once again her posture is rim rod straight as she is attentive to what he is saying. Though, this seems offfset by how she is holding the flower so close to her chest. Those doe-like eyes dart over the man’s features and takes in what he explains.

“Are you saying I’m your special person?” Eyebrows furrow and raise somewhat, a familiar expression that Meg does. It’s one of confusion, exasperation, and in this case, not understanding how that is possible.

The topic is swiftly changed and she shifts so that she is slouching in the booth again. Her gaze drifting down to the flower and she all but pets at the petals just below her face. The memories of Hell seem a bit jumbled, but the first thing to come to mind upon his words of prompting is:

“Alastair.” The name is said fondly, lips pulling up. “He was teaching me something new and I was following instructions on a particular Soldier, I think.”

Castiel didn't hesitate with his nod. Of course she was his special person. She was his only person, but that didn't change anything. He smiled, unable to help himself when he saw that familiar confusion playing on her sweet little face. If he were prone to human thoughts, he'd be wondering if a child between the two of them would make that very face. He wasn't though. He was just admiring how alike she was to her older self.

"You are always a special person. Even before you and I met." He told her, as he began fiddling with the silverware on the table. However, the way she delicately touched the flower he'd given her, he couldn't resist but glance up at her. She seemed to like the impromptu gift, even if she didn't really grasp the meaning anyways. It seemed entirely foreign to her - not the gift itself, but the meaning that went with it. Understandable, he supposed.

The name she gave - he should have been less surprised. He knew she had been well-trained in Hell, that she'd been someone of importance. However, to know she was literally trained by the best... it was something about her he had never known. And for that single heartbeat he tried to keep his expression blank, not wanting her to inquire too much about where Alastair was now. He'd lose her, surely. He couldn't let her slip away, especially if she were upset about her mentor. Not when she was like this.

That single expression flitted away for something more blank and curious. He set the silverware down and sipped the drink in front of him. "I know about a demon named Alastair. He's pretty famous from where I come from too. I hear he's the best in Hell. Are you his only pupil?"

When his lips met hers she felt herself smiling into the kiss, it was something she would never get used to. After the kiss broke she bit her lip, nodding. Emotions were something she had never been very good at hiding but she wanted to be able to look blank and emotionless when she looked remotely weak. However, showing weakness made other people want to help, which meant there guard was down. No, that was Day speaking into her mind. Christa didn’t want to hurt people or make them weak. That was Day. It had to be Day thinking that way. “Too human.” She sighed and met Castiels eyes, smiling at him softly. “Thanks for brunch, Cas. It was great. You’re the best.” It was the truth. No one had ever treated her so respectfully or taken her to see her dreams. He was amazing.

Cas loved kissing her. She seemed to cherish them as much as he cherished hers. She truly enjoyed them. Her nod only brought him to scoot closer to her, turning onto his side and wrapping an arm around her middle. That way, he could tug her up close against him and nuzzle his face into her neck. The angel began planting sweet, soft kisses all over her neck, just enjoying the silent moment for what it was. "There's nothing wrong with human." He whispered into her warm skin as she spoke again. "No need to thank me. I'd do anything, just for you. Even take you for a bite to eat." He smiled with his eyes closed. "Just to make you happy."

She nods slowly before shutting her eyes, humming softly. “I know, Castiel. I do know.” She smiles at Cas before tucking her head against his neck, pressing gentle kisses to his neck, the smile getting larger by the minute. “Its good to know you have friends, here.”

Castiel smiled genuinely at that, and relaxed against her. To know she trusted him after their history, it meant something to him. He was glad that he wasn't the only one who had changed. His arm lazily wound around her waist as they curled up together, and his eyes fell shut at her soft kisses against his throat. He wanted to say something important, something that told her how good it felt to have her close. He fumbled in his thoughts before he gave up, instead choosing to lean in and catch her lips with his own. This kiss, it wasn't like the sweet pecks they'd been giving each other. It was a tentative but warm kiss, one that lingered.

“Even with the scars,” She repeated, touching a few over his chest. “I pictured you every day, I was mad at first that you didn’t come to save me. But then they told me you were in purgatory—well they let it slip to try and break me. I just realized I’d have to save myself and get you out of there.” She smiled, she’d been speaking as he ran his finger through her hair. She frowned at his question, “This is in no way permission for you to go after him and leave me for any period of time, but….yes…to both.”

He pulled back at what she said. That filthy bastard was still alive, and probably eager to take her away and cut into her again. It was obvious by the way he was looking at her that he clearly intended something dark for that particular demon, and there was a hatred burning in him for everything he'd done to her. However, her soft words struck him, and for a moment he was stunned. It had been his own fate that had brought her to save herself, and she didn't want him to go after Crowley? He glanced away as he calmed himself enough to speak. After allowing himself a moment to cool, he cupped her cheek and met her eyes. "I won't seek him out." He promised her, never intending to do anything without her consent. "I won't. But. If he tracks you down and tries to take you away, I'm going to rip his soul into pieces." He growled, not intending to become so angry again but the words brought it out in him. "And you're not going to stop me."

Meg smiled and leaned into the kiss. Soon it became more then just a kiss between two who had a little fling, and she loved it. She wrapped her arms around him tightly, one hand in his neck and the other on his back. She pulled him as close as possible, feeling the warmth of his body, and it almost drove her crazy to restrain herself. She let her tongue slowly move against his lips, almost asking permisdion.

Castiel was startled when he felt the heat of her tongue against his mouth. There was no need for permission though, as he parted his lips to her. There wasn't a single thing he wouldn't give her. His hand slid down her back and pulled her closer to him. They were pressed so close that they were practically one. His other hand buried into her hair and gave a tug, feeling a little playful. Their kiss was not only intimate, it was the first time he'd ever felt alive - since their last kiss at least.

“I know it isn’t,” Oswin sniffled and pawed at her drippy nose. “Frankly, I don’t really know what I’m saying. I’ve been feeling so weird lately. Do you remember that time last week when I yelled at you for leaving your socks in my room? I started crying after you left.” She wiped her eyes. 

“Of course I want our baby to see the stars. I want it to know how vast and beautiful the universe is.” she pressed her palm flat to her belly and gazed down at the extremely minuscule bump.

She pressed her face hard into his neck and kissed his collarbone. “It won’t be… deformed, will it?” a crease formed between her eyebrows at the thought. The last thing she wanted was a monster baby, and the things she’d heard about the Nephilim were not exactly positive. “It won’t be horrible? They killed people, did they not?” she looked up with wide, worried eyes.

Castiel pulled back to stare into her eyes, cradling her cheek as she spoke. "You did? Oh Os, I wasn't upset with you for yelling. Don't cry." He gave her a soft smile, wiping a stray tear from her cheek. "I can see it now. You have a lot of hormones in your system, from the baby... It's okay." He leaned in to kiss her forehead. "I understand. I do."

Her question about the Nephilim made his eyes widen in concern, and he swallowed hard. "Oh no, no." He promised, even though he really had no idea if their child would be deformed. He just didn't assume it would. "Our baby is going to be okay. Yes, the Nephilim killed people, but they saved some too. They were ordered to - they didn't just do anything on a whim. No one will order our child to do anything. Our child will have your brilliance, after all. How could our child be horrible then?" He smiled.

His hand lowered to lay over her hand, covering the small stomach she had. "Our child will be beautiful, and headstrong - like you. And maybe we can show him or her the pyramids." He smiled, trying to reassure her.

Silence pressed on for a few minutes after that. "Oswin." He finally spoke. "You never told me. How did you meet the Doctor?"

Jimmy wiped a hand over his face, drying his cheeks and sniffling. A ball of nerves and emotions would be an accurate description of how he felt. There was great risk with this opportunity, but he would be damned if he wouldn’t take it. “Yes, yes I understand,” he ushered softly, giving a little nod of his head. “Look. Don’t touch.” An odd mix of excitement and fear thrummed in his veins. The lost days would be his again.

Castiel was silent for a long moment as he let it sink in. Jimmy had to understand, any interference would only hinder his relationship with his family. Through their time sharing a body, he'd gotten to know the man well. He was the reason the angel had become so human, that he had begun to doubt. He understood Jimmy. He had felt what he'd felt. Now, he knew... Jimmy understood the circumstances. Light filled the room, but the angel wasn't descending into Jimmy Novak. He was drawing on his power to manipulate the room around him. In a few moments, Jimmy was standing outside his own home, a year before. Cas had taken him to see Claire headed to a school dance. It was an easy place to start, in case anything more serious would upset the man too much.

She was pulled out of her thoughts by Castiel’s words; she’d been so engrossed in trying to work out a plan that she hadn’t really noticed the music end, although now he mentioned it it was obvious. Talia blinked, turning her head towards him with a slight smile. “They are very good.”

Cas saw the turn of her head and leaned in to tentatively press a familial kiss to her cheek. Things had been so different than when they'd served Heaven. They'd been so cold, stoic. Now, he just wanted her to feel like she could be close to him. She was his sister, after all, and he wanted to be close to his family. "We'll be okay." He reassured her quietly. "We won't give up or lose heart."

"Um." He smiled a bit, looking around the room. That was a loaded question. "Do you.... like pottery?" He finally decided, eyes darting back to his friend.

another ooc post: wow i was just checking up on my followers and i got a whole bunch of new faces while i was gone! where did you all find me?! i have to warn you guys, i'm just a little low on frequent activity for a little while because it's been busy on my end, so i've closed off my blog a bit. however, if you're into writing something long-term with castiel (not just a few posts and letting it all fall by the wayside) let me know or like this post or something! send me a message if you have any cool ideas! i'm looking for friend lines and enemy lines, not just the romance lines people like to do.
