Drew Alfredâs parents just because! I didnât really have a design for either of them yet so I went ahead and made some.
Alfred how do you feel now that you and arthur kissed?
Alfred:Â âI feel really great! Arthur is perfect!! Everything is perfect!!!â
U know what? I absoulutly love your fic! And everytime I read it, the art at the end makes me smile like a little kid that had just been told they get some sweets. It's so adorable!
(( Thank you!! Thatâs very kind- I want to incorporate more ficlets into the blog from time to time, so I hope you look forward to those!
Arthur, how do you feel after that sweet kiss? Also, Happy Halloween!
Arthur: âAlfred asked me to stay the night after the rest of his party guests left, so Iâm still over at his houseâŠheâs been really sweet..â
Is the back porch story canon to the main story? Are Arthur and Alfred together now?
(( The âBack Porchâ story, as well as any other fics I incorporate into the blog in the future, are canon! Therefore, Arthur and Alfred have kissed, but whether or not theyâre officially together remains to be seen. Thanks for asking!

Halloween is here, which means itâs time for Alfredâs halloween party! Thank you to everyone who participated in the event, both through asks and voting on Arthurâs costume! Happy Halloween! //
As Arthur walked through the front door of Alfredâs ranch home, he was already starting to regret his choice to come. Especially dressed as he was. Itâd been a mistake to RSVP to Alfredâs invitation, even if Alfred had called him afterward to tell him how excited he was that he was coming. Itâd made Arthurâs heart flutter, but that was before heâd been forced into a âsexy nurseâ costume by his peers. He wished heâd just gone costume shopping alone, but others had wanted to âhelp,â and apparently, he was stupid enough to have let them.
The main room of Alfredâs house was awash in orange lights and decorations. Pumpkins, skeletons, and witches adorned every inch of the place, and the jack-o-lanterns that Arthur had helped carve were dispersed evenly around the room.
âArthur!â That familiar, honey-sweet voice called to him, so vibrant and full of excitement. Alfred had caught a glimpse of him from across the room, and he started over, the bear ears on his head and the fluff on his jacket collar bouncing as he walked. âIâm so glad you could make it, I-âÂ
Alfred paused, his eyes locked on Arthurâs costume now, gaze trailing downwards slowly. âI uh. Wow. Thatâs quite the outfit, ainât it?â
Arthur felt his face flush bright red, and he reached blindly for the doorknob behind him. âPerhaps I should be going- it probably wasnât a good idea for me to come.â Arthurâs brain was screaming âabort mission,â but before he could leave Alfred had placed a gentle hand over his.
âDonât go!â Alfred pleaded, and Arthur almost thought he could detect a hint of desperation. They were close now, and Arthur could see that Alfredâs face was as red as his own. Or perhaps that was just the orange lighting. âDonât go. You just got here, at least play some games or have some cake. Itâs chocolate, your favorite. Please?â
Arthur glanced around the room. No one else wore a costume like his. They were vampires, werewolves, zombiesâŠeven Francis, who had a reputation of being a little risque, had toned it down. They were dressed as a black cat, and though the outfit was form-fitting, it certainly wasnât as embarrassing as Arthurâs own.Â
âI donât know, Alfred..â Arthur whispered, giving his hand a gentle squeeze. âIâm really..out of place. I thought at least Francis would be moreâŠyou know. But no. I just..feel silly. I should go home.â
Alfred seemed to consider this for a moment and looked down at himself. âI uhâŠI think I can help. Just..donât go anywhere, okay? Iâll be right back.âÂ
With that, Alfred ran off, leaving Arthur to linger around the doorway. He toyed with the idea of leaving, but, noâŠAlfred seemed really sincere. He would at least hear him out. Maybe he had a jacket or some pants Arthur could borrow.
Alfred, as it turned out, had no such plan. He turned heads as he walked back towards Arthur- bear ears still on his head and tail still tied around his waist, but his jeans and jacket were gone. He had on a pair of tight black shorts instead, with âI <3 NYâ written on one thigh. Heâd also gone shirtless.Â
âWell?â He asked, chuckling as he adjusted his glasses. âWhat do you think? Will you stay if you have to share the spotlight?â He smiled at him. âNot that Iâm as pretty as you, but if Iâm at least half as good, Iâm sure youâll be fine.â
Arthur looked down at his feet, not wanting to linger on Alfred too long. âThis is dumb..â He mumbled, but a smile came to his lips anyway and he laughed. âYouâre so silly. Yes, yes, Iâll stay, if youâre going to go to such trouble.â He looked up and met Alfredâs eyes, and Alfred beamed.
The party was, overall, a wonderful time. Arthur made some small talk with the other guests, but most the party was spent following Alfred around and having a good time with him. Theyâd had cake, played party games- Arthur had even won apple bobbing. As the evening wound down, Alfred put on some movies- some scary, some not. Arthur leaned on Alfredâs side as they watched, quilt draped over their shoulders. He was about to call it a night and head home, but Alfred squeezed his hand, whispering for him to follow him to the back porch.Â
They got up, most other partygoers too engrossed in the movie to notice. Arthur didnât fail to notice the way Alfred held his hand as he led him outside, letting go only to sit on the back steps and motion for Arthur to sit beside him. He did.
âArthur?â Alfred began, putting an arm around his shoulders and looking up at the moon. âIâmâŠreal glad you came.â
Arthur paused. WhereâŠwas this going? Alfred wasnât usually like this. He opened his mouth to speak, but Alfred beat him to it.
âIâm always happy to see ya, yâknow.â He chuckled. âEvery time. I thinkâŠI could see you every day, and Iâd always be happy.â He gave Arthur a squeeze.
ââŠI feel that way, too.â Arthur mumbled, and he felt Alfred tense. Apparently, he hadnât been expecting that.
Alfred smiled, and turned to face him. Arthur caught him looking at his lips.
âCan I..?âAlfred began, but Arthur nodded before he could finish speaking.Â
âYou can.â

Itâs okay Arthur! Iâm sure Alfred will absolutely love your costume! đ
Arthur:Â âYes, Iâm sure heâll love me turning up to his party looking like Iâm down to fuck. That wonât be awkward or anything.â
Oh boy, Art, whatâd your strategy in case Alfred sees you like this?
Alfred, maybe you should ask Arthur about his costume...
Alfred:Â âOh, I did, but he got really evasive and ended up hanging up the phone. So..I guess itâs a surprise!â
Who else is coming?
Alfred:Â âI gave out invites to Arthur, Francis, and Gilbert! And of course, I sent one to my cousin, Matthew- it wouldnât be a party without him!â
Alfred, what are you gonna be for Halloween?
Alfred:Â âItâs kind of a simple costume I guess, but Iâve been too busy for somethinâ big. I know that Arthur will like it, at least. Bears are his favorite animals- not that I chose this costume just for that, of course!â
ask box is open!
The Results Are In!
Arthur:Â âYou canât be serious!â
The final round is over! The winner, with 35.3% of the votes, is the April Foolâs inspired Nurse costume! Thank you for participating!
