Hi! I've been a bit excommunicated from the pokemon ask blogs for a while, and I was wondering how the community was doing? I tried to find active ask blogs but since I'm not following any anymore... it's been difficult. I recognized you from back in the day though, and since it seems you have posted fairly recently I thought it may not hurt to ask you. Is the community still alive or... is it not doing so hot?

I’d say it’s alive and well!! Seems like a couple years ago it got super cluttered but I feel like it’s finally died down and I find myself following blogs I genuinely enjoy without much filler or too much noise going on :>

I, myself, just got a new laptop that was long overdue and finished my commission queue that funded it and I’ll be getting back to activity here as well!!! The community isn’t super active like 3 years ago but I think that’s a good thing cause I feel more at ease interacting with people and taking part in events now and I’m not overwhelmed!

I’ve returned!!!

I had to take a short break due to wrist strain and then Tea and I started a fundraiser at the beginning of the month!! we finally finished through all our commissions and I’ve been raring to get back to this blog with new shinies to add to the cast and start bloomingpatrons too!!

Updates may still be slow tho as my laptop is dying and has been for months and I’ll be saving up to replace it on the side!

Okay, just gonna get right into it. Your art is amazing! It’s clear, colorful, and very pleasing to look at. And the consistency you’ve put it out with is impressive (of course I’m very glad your letting your hands rest though, it’s important!) basically, great work!

ahhhh thank you that really means a lot!!! I put a lot of work into my asks just like i would any other drawing or commission which is also why I tend to over-do it and need to rest after big posts lol but I’m glad it’s not in vain!
