Heyoo! This last raid I've got sent t' took a bloody long time, now I'm back at The Holy Spirits!
Heyoo! Have we met before? You seem familiar...
"Hm? I, uh…I don’t recall…" the little mortician lifted her hood to properly see the bandit as she dragged her sled of dead bodies behind her. Just part of the job.
"I’m n-not looking for any trouble…just passing through, I p-promise."
The little woman nodded and shook Steve’s hand in response, her grip not quite as powerful as his. When she took her hand back, the blood stuck for a moment, latex snapping quietly before completely releasing.
"Mortician," Moira answered. "Far as I know, the only one around."
He wasn’t sure what a Mortician was, so she was probably right in saying that she was the only one. He balanced the dead body on his shoulder, “And what does a Mortician do?” He slowly started walking, “Where are we headed t’, by the way?”
"You know, a mortician? Undertaker?" Moira looked at the bandit hopefully, before elaborating. "I prepare funerals. And the star here…" she reached into the large burlap sack on her sled and pulled out a human foot, completely blasted off from the leg. "…is gonna need some putting back together…"
She stuffed the limb back in her bag and dragged it behind her. “Sanctuary.” she rolled her eyes. “Don’t suppose you’re a citizen, are ya?”
"Nice!" he said, sounding quite impressed. He observed the leg, "That's going t' take some time, eh?" he chuckled.
"No, I'm not; I'm pretty sure they'd blow my head off if I ever set my foot in there." A nervous chuckle. "I can drop you and your friend off somewhere near Sanctuary, though."
Heyoo! *eyes him suspiciously with one hand on his shotgun*
He nods a hello to the stranger, the faint smell of Zafford beer lingering on the guy, “Hey, you wouldn’t happen to be a Zafford would ya?”
"I work for them actually."
"Ohh, ok." He nodded, he usually saw him sitting at the bar by himself.
"I’m usually not given much to do, though; so I either go and have a drink or go on raiding camps by myself." He paused for a moment, "You needed something?"
He paused for a moment, “uh, dunno, just lookin for a cold drink after work.”
He chuckled darkly behind the mask, "Being stationed so near t' Hyperion made all of us slightly paranoid against Hyperion people, I reckon." He played with his Rakk Ale as a Zafford approched them, "What can I get ya lad?"

He wondered if she was always this nervous or it was because he reeked of death and booze. “Steve.” he introduced himself, grabbing her hand firmly and not caring much about the blood. “Lab?” he asked, grabbing the corpse to sling it over his shoulder, “What do you do t’ earn your life?”

Doesn't this song make you want t' go on raiding?
"I'm still waiting for the dinner you promised, Steele." Steve chuckled, quite impatiently.
"Oh? Well I might have some scraps to throw to you."
“I know you’re capable of doing all these, but why haven’t you done so yet? If I’m a mere bandit and you can simply get what you want out of me and leave me t’ die, you could have done so long ago.” He broke out of his serious attitude, started courting her again and added with a slight taunt, “You like me as well, don’t you?” He grinned behind the mask, she might be a powerful Siren; but bloody hell, he hadn’t got this famous just by shouting ‘Heyoo!’.
Her eyes narrowed at him before shoving past him.”Fool, you think someone like me would like such filth? You must be stupider than first thought? I choose not to use my power on lesser beings because I find it to be a waste, it does not show a sign of affection.”
How dare he even think she would show him any form of endearment. He was getting bolder and Steele was not going to have any of it. She had already given him too much par and it was getting ridiculous. “Leave and you may keep the shred of dignity you cling to.”
"Filth?" he said, looking astonished and heartbroken. "We all have our lines of work, Steele." he said, almost growling. He liked her enough, yes, but being insulted was one of the rare things that made him angry- no, furious.
He walked closer to her, his body language showing that he was no longer calm and harmless. He crossed his arms, "I'm not your regular bandit, so please do try t' use your powers on me." He still managed to sound sarcastic, good.
He stroked the strap of his rocket launcher, knowing that he'd be quick enough to take it out and maybe even shoot once before she started using her powers. Standing with his usual nonchalance, he continued, "Asking you out and not yielding though you reject's supposed t' ruin my dignity? If we had a proper talk even for a short time, you'd see that I'm not that shallow." His voice got deeper, "But yes, I'm willing t' lose 'the shred of dignity I cling t' '. Want a fight? Sure." He chuckled, "We can go on a date if I win."

"You sound familiar, too. Oh well, it must be me." Steve eyed the young woman as if she were carrying a cup of tea; dead bodies? Nothing wrong with carrying one around, this was Pandora after all. He put his hands in his pockets nonchalantly, "No need to be nervous, I’m not much of a trouble-maker unless Zafords give me a job to do or someone to kill." He grinned behind the mask, "I haven’t got any job description matching your looks, though." He paused, unsure about what to do. She was quite the interesting person, but she also seemed uncomfortable, "You need help with that?" he finally asked, pointing to the dead body.
Zafords? The name brought back memories, but Moira shook the thought away as quickly as it came. They probably wouldn’t even remember her anyways.
The girl snapped out of her daze and laughed nervously, a smile almost forming on her face but disappearing very quickly. “Um…I’m o-okay, really. Just on m-my way back to the lab…” She thought for a moment, remembering that it was often polite to introduce oneself to a new acquaintance. “Moira Zaffff……uh, M-Moira.” she offered the bandit a bloody gloved hand.
He wondered if she was always this nervous or it was because he reeked of death and booze. "Steve." he introduced himself, grabbing her hand firmly and not caring much about the blood. "Lab?" he asked, grabbing the corpse to sling it over his shoulder, "What do you do t' earn your life?"
Several people are trapped in another dimension.
"Some people do have the talent to disturb me every time I’m the busiest. Make it short or leave it.”
"Heyoo!" he said quite happily as opposed to her intimidating attitude. He knew who she was and he wasn't interested in starting a fight with a Vault Hunter and a Siren- well, not for now, at least; no such task was assigned to him. "I was just on my way t' raid some Nomad camp, actually," he said, putting his hands in his pockets. "You wouldn't happen t' know where I can get a bandit technical, would you?" he asked, half serious, half joking.

Steve! Happy Mercenary Day.
Heyoo! Happy Mercenary Day to you too, Paxon!
HEYOOOOOOOO!
Heyoo! How's it going?
"I'm still waiting for the dinner you promised, Steele." Steve chuckled, quite impatiently.
"Oh? Well I might have some scraps to throw to you."
He observed her hips, arms, hands and face while she spoke, his gaze unseen. She was so bloody beautiful! And fierce, but it wasn’t something he’d be afraid of. “Oh well, I would take my mask off only if we went somewhere private (and maybe even had our dinner).” he grinned, trying to hide his heavy breathing now that she was closer to him. “You’d be able to take me down easily if I attacked you or anything, and I’d be revealing my identity for the first time without worrying someone would see me.”
It was a good thing Steele had monumental amounts of self control, otherwise the mask would have been ripped from his face long ago. There was also the small voice in the back of her head that told her to use her powers, how easy it would be. However that would be too simple and by that logic she could have made him leave by now.
"I could make you remove you mask, even make you walk off a cliff by making you believe it is what you want. Don’t test me bandit," she spat the last word like poison. "You can not bargain with me when I can merely take what I want."
"I know you're capable of doing all these, but why haven't you done so yet? If I'm a mere bandit and you can simply get what you want out of me and leave me t' die, you could have done so long ago." He broke out of his serious attitude, started courting her again and added with a slight taunt, "You like me as well, don't you?" "Oh? Well I might have some scraps to throw to you."
He chuckled bitterly, but far from giving up, “You’re hard to convince, aren’t you?” He sighed, observing how decided she looked. “Look, I can see why you don’t trust me since I’m a bandit and all. Maybe you’re thinking I’m even trying to capture you.” He paused to think, “You know that I work for Zafford, do you really think he and his goons’d be able to beat you and capture you in a fight?” He moved a foot closer to her, “C’mon Steele, we both know you’re too powerful for any trouble a bandit could cause you.” He looked at her, face unseen behind the mask. “What else should I do to convince you that I really just like you and want to go out for dinner with you?”
Musing on his words she tilted her pale head to the side, her cool green eyes looking to where his were. It seemed to make everything more difficult, why did they have to wear such masks? Ridiculous is what it was.
With a sigh Steele placed a hand on her hip, the other out in front of her, filling the small amount of space between them. Holding out a finger as she began to tick off a list.
“One, I do not believe that any bandit would be fool enough to try and capture me. No matter the cost on my head. Two, I do not even know who this ‘Zaford’ is nor do I care who you work for. Three.”
Lowering her hand she shortened the distance between them, a mere hairs breathe lay between them. “The damn mask makes it harder to get a read on your reactions.”
He observed her hips, arms, hands and face while she spoke, his gaze unseen. She was so bloody beautiful! And fierce, but it wasn't something he'd be afraid of. "Oh well, I would take my mask off only if we went somewhere private (and maybe even had our dinner)." he grinned, trying to hide his heavy breathing now that she was closer to him. *whispers in bewilderment* Steve the lion heart..
*chuckles proudly* Heyoo!
Graffiti, eh? He didn’t remember seeing any, but that sure sounded fun. “Heh, it’s good t’ meet you too, uh- I don’t think I know your name or what you’re doing here though.”
Huh? Oh, shit, sorry..I’m Paxon, just came by to drop off some crap for Mick Zafford.
Nice t’ meet you. *chuckles* Has he invited you to the drinking games yet?
What? Noooo, but keep talking, I’m interested!…
“Once he deems you good and trustworthy enough, he offers t' play this game,” Steve explained. “Basically, you and Zaford start drinking the strongest drink The Holy Spirits can offer at the moment. If you lose, you get ridiculed by the whole Zafford family; if you win, you get t' have a few pots of gold… technically, of course.” He chuckled darkly, “I’ve never seen anyone getting the gold, mostly because it’s quite impossible t' beat a Zafford in a drinking game; but also because he doesn't take being beaten in the game lightly.” He added with an ominous whisper, “I’d recommend losing on purpose if you ever get t' play the game unless you want t' part with your head."
