Yes, that is certainly possible. Dee describes it as a sort of...bubbling in his chest that the words get stuck in. Going nonverbal can take all sorts of forms.

One day, he took a long look at his brother and decided, “Nah, there’s no way he’s completely straight.” 😂 He never told Toby, but he told me his suspicions, and when they were confirmed with River, Remy did a happy dance the whole rest of the day!

Whenever he says he’s proud of me. I’m a sucker for that, honestly. It’s cheesy, but true. I can’t get enough of someone saying that they’re proud of my hard work and effort, and coming from Emile makes that all the sweeter.
