The next morning Kathy awoke sitting up in bed and stretched her arms above her head. Her sleeping kimono had opened slightly around the chest showing some of her cleavage. She looked at where Yukimura was to see if he was still sleeping or had already gotten up.

Yukimura was silently watching her with a slight frown on his face until he spotted her sleeping robe and blushed before looking away.

Kathy looked over at Yukimura and smiled. “Good morning, Yukimura.” she said rubbing her eyes. She knew the festival was tonight so she was rather excited.

@magicmaiden36 “Umm g-good morning milady.” Yukimura looked everywhere around the room apart from at her while trying to stop his cheeks from blushing. “I need to leave to get ready for training this morning.”

Kathy noticed his blush as it was so bright on his cheeks. “Are you feeling alright?” she asked as she moved over to him and gently placed a hand on his forehead. If he had a fever she wasn’t about to let him go train.

"I-I'm feeling fine! Please excuse me milady!" He moved away from her towards the door. "I muse go now". Yukimura rushed out of the room with a blush still high on his cheeks.

Kathy drifted off to sleep after a bit curled up against Yukimura's chest on the veranda. She felt safe in his arms, not that it seemed he was going to let her go. After all he had fallen asleep holding her. ((Continuing from our previous long thread.))

Yukimura sighed softly, feeling something or someone warm in his arms. Opening his eyes he saw the young woman breathing slowly against him. Smiling he tried to adjust her in his grip without waking her.

Kathy felt the movement and opened her eyes. She looked up at Yukimura and giggled a bit. “It seems we fell asleep on the veranda.” She said gently as she rested her head against his chest. She didn’t make any move to get out of his arms though. @asktheswordofjapan

"Yukimura?" Mint asked softly as she sat down next to him and leaned against his arm. "Are you going to go to bed soon?"

“Mint?” Yukimura looked up sleepily “I’m almost done here, I’ll go to bed in a bit.” He looked back down at the scroll he was trying to read.

Wrapping her arms around his arm, Mint hesitated before speaking again. “I… I don’t mean to interrupt you, but it’s getting late. You know I always stay with you until you’re ready for bed, and then I go back to my room. … But I was thinking… Maybe tonight… I could stay. I thought it might be nice to cuddle and feel your warmth.”

Turning so her body was facing him, Mint laid her hands on Yukimura’s chest as she leaned into him. “I guess this means when we get to my room, I’ll need you to hold me for a few minutes to make sure I’m warm enough to sleep.” @asktheswordofjapan

Mint smiled as she took Yukimura’s hand and followed him from the room. With their hands clasped, and Mint’s other hand clinging to Yukimura’s arm, they made their way toward Mint’s room. Every second seemed to pass too quickly, and every step they took seemed to travel too much distance. When they arrived at Mint’s door, she turned to face her man. “One day we will only have to walk across the room, and we will only say goodnight and not goodbye. But I will wait for that day with a smile on my face because I love you, Yukimura.” Having spoken her true feelings, Mint leaned forward into Yukimura’s chest and wrapped her arms around his back, savoring the last few minutes she would have with him until the next day. @asktheswordofjapan

Mint sighed, sad to see Yukimura turn to walk away.  Opening the door to her room, she stepped inside.  As soon as the edge of her door met with the doorframe once more, Mint felt strange arms grab her tightly, yanking her backwards into the room.  “Yuki–!” was all she was able to get out before her cries were muffled by a large hand.  Mint struggled in protest, attempting to break free from the intruder’s violent grip as she figured by now, Yukimura was too far away to have heard her scream.  @asktheswordofjapan

@minty-fresh-otome when night time arrives, Yukimura sat in his room waiting, thinking that maybe he shouldn't have done what he did and he wanted to apologize. Yet something was wrong since she wasnt there for dinner or to make dinner. "Where have she gone off to...?" Yukimura asked himself before standing up and make his way to her room.
