It was three weeks ago I was thrown into the underground... Yes, thrown. It wasn’t the best life I had on the surface, but it’s not the best here either. I was adopted by Tori, and she also teaches me here. The other kids learned monster related stuff (ya’ know, cause they’re monsters) and so I had to sit in a class room. By myself. With my stepmom. That I hate. I sat in the only chair in the room, looking out the window... I looked at all the kids running around, playing... I never really got to do that. Racism, is what we called it back on the surface. My neck itched from the wool of my sweater... I looked to my side as I scratched my neck, to see the large chock board looming above me... On it, was a couple very easy math questions, like first grader stuff (I’m 16, by the way) because of monsters thinking humans like me are stupid and don’t understand grade level stuff like I dunno... Square root of 4? oh f*ck what’s the square root of 4... Maybe I do suck at math. And also on the chock board was a poorly drawn picture put on by some older teens, of the charity mascot “Ice-E”...Yeah, he kinda had a cult following....that I may have been part of. Ice-E gang fo’ the winnn!!!! I turn my head back to the window... Suddenly, I hear the sound of the door open. “Hello, my child!” Toriel greeted walking into the room... “Sup, Tori.” I reply, still looking at the window. She pulled out a metal pointer from her purse, and used it to point at the math questions on the board. (I assume she did, she always does that. my head is still looking outside.) “Suki, you can’t exactly learn without looking at the board.” Toriel stated... “I lost my eyes in the war!!!” “...I dearly apologize... All people with missing body parts can leave class early!” Toriel stated... “Aw, sweet!” I reply, getting up and walking to the door... I adjust my hair and put it behind my ear, revealing a bit of my face... Toriel pointed her metal rod at me... “Ah! Are those eyes I see?!” She asked... “...UGHHHHHHHH” I moaned, walking back over to my seat. Tori spoke about the math questions. After like two minutes I turned my head back at the window and Tori didn’t seem to notice. About 45 minutes later, the bell rings. I picked up my backpack from behind the door, and left the room, and put my coat on. This was the last class of the day, in case you didn’t pick up on that. I looked over from my locker to see Toriel signalling to follow her, with the big annoying grin she always has. I walked over, and got tripped by some random monster kid, who then chuckled at my body lying on the ground. Toriel didn’t notice. I got back up, held my tears in (like the manly mansasional man I am... not) and went outside, and got in the car to go home...
