Reblog if you'll answer ALL ANONS in your ask right now!
//So I kinda want ooblisk to be phyrexian after writing those two drabbles but that doesn’t seem like it would make any sense. Aren’t they artifact based?
//Phyrexians are artifact-based and aren’t natural lifeforms.
//as I figured. Grr. They're so cool

'Lived long enough to become the villain'
The army of skeletons marched through the city, streets filling to the brim with black skeletons. Nothing was working to stop the hordes, they just kept coming.
When the mass over took someone, anyone, their flesh would be torn and melted away; their skeleton would join the masses.
For weeks on end, the people of the town, those who had not been unfortunate enough to get caught in the swarm, lived in fear. Food ran scarce. Starvation set in.
All the while, the sole, green ooze humanoid stood, watching as its creations made the world a more useful place.
Lived long enough to become a villain
Ooblisk drummed its fingers on the skull in its goo covered hands. The flesh of the bone was pealed, draped over its hand, like an orange peel. Slowly, the skull turned into a mound of black slime, retaining its shape and features.
"Perfect, I got this one perfect. This mind is ripe with utility."
The army chanted at the last word. It sounded like a raging torrent of water.
Utility. Work. Turn.
The humanoid put the skull on the neck of a black slime skeleton, completing it fully. It was the last in a row of near endless others.
"Go, brethren, and bring your utility to the world."
Utility. Work. Turn.
About vanisHing for a week
(Hey all! I apologize for leaving for a week our do, I Just got really really busy :c work abd school abd family stuff all got a touch too important for new to be here. Sorry about that!)
Leave 'Lived long enough to become the villain' to get a glimpse of my muse being a villain.
A custom planeswalker I made. I was bored. This something I would like to see, though. An older walker, not a pinup boy or girl. I suppose Karn fits that, but he’s rare.

What's in a name anyways?
The ooblisk sat besides a Simic mage. Both had perched upon a cement slab by the edge of the guild's territory overlooking an algae covered. The ooze spoke to the merfolk, reclining against its gelatin elbows.
"I don't understand why you want to know," It began, watching as mutant bugs and fish jump through the plant coated lake's covering. "But the name I've taken is one of the first words I heard, one of the only words I heard my creators say.
"When I was brought into this world, well not this world to my knowledge but another, I only saw the flashing of blue, black, and green mana from a massive pillar. The only thing I heard, aside from the crashing of what I understand is wood and stone, was the phrase 'Quick, hide the ooblisk!' uttered from a heavily accented man. I realize, now, that he may have been saying 'obelisk.'
"In my entire time knowing of what a planeswalker is, and that I am one, I have never encountered another being with quite the same voice as his. It's a part of my life now, my goal, to find out just what plane that I, and that man, am from and what was going on when I was made."
"Champion of the Sun, aye? Might you tell me of the Sun god?"
Heliod is a God. He brings sunlight to Theros. He represents justice and order and uses his spear to smite wrongdoers (or those he does not like).
Although all this information can be found in a public archive why ask me?
"Oh, just the desire for discussion and socialness among walkers."
"I don’t see why not. I think you’re pleasant enough company," Poison said. "Besides, I think I’d want some company while I’m getting some of the details of these temples," she added calmly. "Well, when you’re ready, we can go. I’ve gotten enough information from here for now."
"As have I, friend." The ooze said, maybe for the first time in its certainly long life. "I would be very glad to accompany you in this land." The creature smiled as best it could, actively trying to not be as creepy as before.
"Thank you. Oh, before I forget, what gender pronouns would you prefer me using? I can’t simply call you ‘it’ all the time," the woman asked the ooze nonchalantly. She noticed the ooze was doing a good enough smile without it being too creepy.
"And we should head to the Temple of Abandon, or rather the Temple of Revels, first. I’m only going to mainly sketch out the temples on what they look like first. I could probably catch some fish so I can get some Theran money, too. I doubt zinos would be accepted here."
THe ooze cocked its head at the first question, on pronouns. "Well," it said, giving a rather oozy, skeletal shrug "I never found myself to fit a proper pronoun as I've seen them in books, nor skeletal makeup. From what I've been able to tell of medical journals, my bone structure is a mishmash of both gender human skeletons. I think 'it' or gender neutral would be best, though I haven't had much insight to all of those myself."
At the mention of visiting temples, the ooblisk nodded in agreement. "I do suppose checking in on that satyr would be a good idea. I doubt it, yet he may be able to get me in favor with some gods, maybe."
"You’re welcome and I take it that’s your way of saying may the odds ever be in my favor," she spoke as she replied to it but looked up from the scroll she was reading and smiled when it asked about heroes and friends.
"I can actually tell you from personal experience about that, Ooblisk. I’ve had friends before I was seen as a hero, and I’ve also gained more friends because I’ve been seen as a hero. A hero’s reputation does affect if people want to be that person’s friend or not. There are people out there, however, who don’t care what a hero’s reputation is and will want to be friends or allies with them regardless."
The ooblisk nodded, thinking to itself. What sort of person would enjoy the company of a living ball of slime, who had known nothing aside from books? Shaking it’s head, the ooblisk discarded the thought for the moment.
"Yes, right. Right." The ooze said, shrugging slightly, its shoulder blades visible. "I feel I must ask. Could we be allies?"
"I don’t see why not. I think you’re pleasant enough company," Poison said. "Besides, I think I’d want some company while I’m getting some of the details of these temples," she added calmly. "Well, when you’re ready, we can go. I’ve gotten enough information from here for now."
