The martial artist had been idly walking by when the fuss caught his attention. He would have simply walked away from it, had he not overheard that it was an arm-wrestling match — which, as competitive person he was, immediately piqued his interest. Luckily, it was easy for him to slip in between the people crowded around the table, especially with his smaller female physique, trying to get a look at the competitors.
And, well, that was definitely a surprise. Even more so when the shortie won against the bulky man, which should have been humanely impossible. It was almost suspicious.
Not that it was going to deter him from jumping onto the competition himself. On the contrary: it made him all the more eager to jump in, pushing the bulky guy aside to take his place.
“Hey, you aren’t half-bad, shorty!” Bold words coming from him, considering he was shorter than the other in this form. With a confidence way bigger than his size, he propped up his elbow on the table challengingly. “But your win streak ends here, and you’ll have to treat me to a parfait if I win. I’m not gonna hold back.”
Now, of course, the man was more than shocked, and maybe Sora would regret that later, but he was too satisfied with wiping that stupid smirk off the man’s face to worry about it now. He just crossed his arms with a harrumph.
Until his newest challenger came up. “Eh?”
Honestly, the sight of her shocked him so much he wasn’t even offended at the “shorty” comment (while usually, he would be). Not because she was a girl, but because she was a tiny girl. Short and slim, without him able to tell her muscle from her shirt. And super positive of the outcome, despite not looking like a body builder or… something else that would make her physically strong. Was she seriously thinking she stood a chance against him compared to the last guy? Even going so far as to add a bet to it?
“H-hold on… I don’t mind, but,” He itched at his hair, tilting his head slightly. “Are you sure you want to do this?”
Listen, Sora was all for girl power, but… he could smell she was human. She wouldn’t stand a chance against that last guy, let alone him. (If she were maybe a foot taller, maybe he'd assume differently, but-)
