Hey y’all, got a DM that really disturbed me.

Dear blogger, I’m sending this message to you because I am at the end of my rope. I’ve been stalked and harassed by Gabriela “Gabby” Pantaloni for eight years straight, with her continually claiming that I run this account, and every single account that has ever said negative things about her.

She has continually contacted my family and workplace with harassment and threats, stretching over many years. I have told her to stop, I’ve sent her a cease and desist, she’s been told not to contact me anymore, and she continues to harass and stalk me. My friends message me, telling me that she’s slandering me on twitter again, and I have to tell them that I haven’t spoken to or about her in more than half a decade.

It has gotten to a point where I don’t feel safe, and I fear that, given how unhinged she has become, I fear for my safety if she continues to escalate. So I am taking the final step of asking you, an anonymous blogger, to remove your post about Equestrian Strumpet. I realize how ridiculous this sounds.

I embrace your freedom of speech, but I am asking you, for my own safety, to remove the posts. I'm sure you feel it’s important to speak the truth about her abusive behavior; but I am asking you to consider if it’s more important than someone’s life. Your help would be very appreciated.

At first I didn’t think I should give in to a disturbed person’s demands and neither should this Whoo but they convinced me Gabriela is truly not well and they are worried.

I’m taking down this site since it’s subject is apparently completely manic and threatening and harassing others. I’ll leave this comment pinned for a while to everyone knows Strumpet should be avoided. I hope they seek help.

Child abuse in Japan

While no link has been made between anime, manga and child abuse, Japan is facing a “serious” child abuse problem, according to a White Paper issued by the National Police Agency in March.

The paper said the number of child abuse victims jumped 20% between 2011 and 2012, and the number of victims, arrests and cases are at their highest levels since they started compiling statistics in 1999.

At the same time, the number of cleared child pornography crime cases rose to 1,596, the highest ever recorded, the paper said. Most – 85% – were Internet-related. The figures inspired the U.S. State Department to label Japan as an “international hub” for producing and trafficking child pornography.

The U.S. report noted that no national law addresses the “unfettered availability of sexual explicit cartoons, comics and video games, some of which depicted scenes of violent sexual abuse and the rape of children.

It added: 'While the NPA continued to maintain that no link was established between these animated images and child victimization, other experts suggested children are harmed by a culture that appears to accept child sexual abuse.”
