Ryuubei runs his index finger over the area the knife had been when it was pressed against his throat.
There’s a moment where he looks contemplative (if he’d made one wrong move, would his servant have gone through with it? If Assassin had killed him, would he have even cared?) but that ends quickly when the boy pulls his hand away.
Hans steps backwards and Ryuubei lowers his gaze to look at his own hand. A droplet of blood is on the tip of his finger.
To say he smiles at that would be inaccurate, as he’d never truly stopped smiling–
But it definitely widens just a bit. Ryuubei’s eyes flick up towards Assassin.
“That’s fine. Though, to be honest… I don’t think I’ll ask you to kill for me.”
“After all… Whether you kill to your hearts content, or play house, it’s more fun if you decide by your own will, Assassin.”
There was something that bugged him about this situation. This boy... he seemed so carefree, that nothing could possibly happen to him. No, that was wrong... Maybe not that, Hans was sure this boy had at least thought of his death a couple of times, this was a war, and with the way he seemed to... smile, probably unnerved a lot of people.
It surely unnerved Hans, but he didn’t show it. Even that was a stretch, Hans visible mouth was curved downads, obviously displeased by yuubei’s reply.
Killing for him what out of the question. Hans was practically given freedom, not that he minded, Hans’ already decided he was going to do what he wants. “For fun, huh.” He murmured to himself.
In an instant, he was beside Ryuubei’s, a sharp blade pressing between his ribs, he made sure not to pierce the skin, but the blade did tear through his fabric. He grinned.
“And...? What do you do for fun, Meowster? I bet ya just reaaally love watchin’ people, nya?”
