hii! just wanna say that i barely pop up on tumblr nowadays, not because i'm not into hotband anymore, but because the site itself is clunky on my phone and i don't get to use my tablet as much... also the other fandom i'm in rn (iv of spades) barely has activity here, i mean there is activity but most of my oomfs there are more active elsewhere...

Ikiaikasii by Sanni and Kuumaa is so beautiful! Even if you don't understand Finnish, everything else is so beautiful and powerful!

Ikiaikasii means semptitermal or eternal. It's a song about a past relationship that you were expecting too much of. Even though you and your ex weren't semptitermal and everything was left unfinished, you're still glad that it happened. (it's not said directly in the song that you're glad about it, that's just my own interpretation)

Here's my translation of the chorus:
