Day 45

I took some time to re-do the edge bindings because I realized that part of the reason the fabric was so loose in the rolaframe was because the ribbon binding was adding a lot of bulk to just the edges. So I took that off the sides and blanket stitched the edges instead. Not counting that in my stitching time or days though.

The fabric is still looser than I’d prefer in the frame, but better than before.

Day 44

I apparently missed a picture and post, because there was more stitching done when I picked up today than there was in the last picture (which is the last picture I have). Whoops. I’m going to estimate an hour for that work (which is probably an undercount, to be honest).

Also—I finally found a stitching frame large enough to hold this! Upside: I don’t have to worry about crushing stitches in the future, and I can rest the frame over a gap instead of having to hold the whole thing in one hand. Downside: the cloth is a lot looser in the frame than I usually keep it, so it’s a bit more annoying to work.
