At the small town of Storybrooke, advertisements have been posted reading thusly:

In the rented lot just within Storybrooke's city limits, the circus is all in a bustle. There's a lot of work to be done before the grand opening.

Dancing Skeletons -- Halloween Ball

After months of planning, they'd managed to put something together and even zombies showing up now wouldn't keep them from having a good time. For long at least.

Who: Open to Everyone (Except Pan) Where: Granny’s Diner When: April 21st, Evening

This was for several reasons, but she was taking whatever excuse was offered for the sake of a party. She wouldn't be the only one contributing other than the space, drinks, and her lasagna. A few of the table had been stacked in the back room to provide more room for people to just stand together and talk. Though there were still some of the tables and booths for those that preferred more private conversations. And from the looks of the turn out it was going to be a good night.

The idea made Felix chuckle. "You can usually tell whether or not a log is wet," he said. "You do know the difference between wet or dry, right?" The temptation to mock her was strong. He couldn't imagine not knowing how to survive.

"What you do to start a fire," Felix said, not looking behind him, "is get the big logs out first. You wanna arrange them so that the wind doesn't get in and blow out your fire. I like to build a log cabin." He stacked the logs parallel to each other, put smaller sticks on top and across, stuck kindling in the middle, and then went on to the next level. "It's all showy and dramatic. It's the kind of fire you want to build for a party." He grinned at Bird. He knew what party would be coming.

Felix offered her a seat. "Take your time," he said. "Pan'll be here soon enough. He's the one you need to talk to." He bent to work on lighting the fire, always a troublesome business.

Felix shook the water off. Time for a fire, he thought. A large bonfire should send the message Pan wanted. But first he bent to Wendy's side, all concern. "You survived?" he asked. That generally was the point. Survival, at any cost.

Felix's jump had been the signal for the Lost Boys to retreat. Effortlessly one by one they crawled back out of the ship, having had their fun. And they all knew Pan's orders were to be obeyed implicitly. 

He stopped at the shore, wading out with his long legs. For Pan's crew, it was survive-as-survive-can.

Felix nodded. "Proper Lost Girl," he said with a wink. No need to leave more of a trace than there already was. He slipped over the edge of the ship and fell into the water with a plop. The night had just started.

Felix nudged her again. "We're swimming to the shore. Unless you have any last words for the Captain." He didn't have much familiarity with girls. They might be the sentimental type.

Jingle jangle went the keys, as Felix nabbed them from the guardsman whose throat he'd slit, blood pouring down and creating an awful mess. The brig didn't have many doors, but he knocked on the one anyways, his tall frame crouching to fit inside the cramped quarters.

Calculating the Shadow drew back, and disappeared. It then reappeared behind them. Picking up Wendy and Neal by the scruff of their necks, he flew off with them into the night and to Neverland. Felix would know what to do with the man.
