Tom followed behind Harrison as they pushed their way through the crowd of people near the front door. The air was hot and heavy from all of the people that were crammed into the small house. Some friends, and lots of people Tom didn’t even know, were greeting Tom and Harrison as they walked by with choruses of “how ya doin, mate?” and fist bumps. When they finally made it to the kitchen, Harrison pushed a beer into Tom’s hands. Tom nodded in thanks as he took a swig, leaning against the counter, and looking out of the sea of people who had gathered at the house party. Tom didn’t know the person who was throwing the party, and neither did Harrison, but apparently, Harrison’s friend had a mutual friend with the person who was having the party.

Normally, Tom didn’t mind going out and partying, but lately, he just wasn’t up to it. He’d only recently gotten back from a press tour, and he just needed a bit of a break. This time, however, Harrison had practically forced him out, saying that “it’d be good for him.” After a lot of persuading, and being told that the girl he was interested in might be there, Tom had agreed. Now, Tom was in search of her, just to make this outing worthwhile. It wasn’t long until he caught sight of her, his eyes widening immediately, his heart beating faster. Just like what had happened the first time he saw her.
