Sketch for a new character in my upcoming new Ninja comic. My wife's first response was, "What's up with his mouth?" Exactly.

So here is my page 2 panel 1 of Winter's Tale: Ninja Princess Zombie Rockstar. I thought I'd break it down by panel just so that each one shows up nicely on a phone.

I remember witnessing many of my classmates getting braces and wondering if I was next. I must have thought it was some sort of mind-control conspiracy, so I wrote this comic… probably because I was worried I was next. Thankfully, braces never captured my teeth or my mind.
I am re-posting my second panel just so that the story looks sequential on my blog (no need to re-blog this! Its exactly the same as before).
I re-did my first panel because I realized that I didn't follow directions very well. Now we have a cat and a castle! I did take a little creative liberty in the "sitting on a rock" part though. My Princess Ninja is sitting on some ruins (which is made out of rock... right?) and even if this isn't addressed in the actual story, I feel it's always nice to have unexplained ruins somewhere just to keep the reader's imagination on high alert.
My goal here is to find a good format for web comix. Mainly, I am concerned with the panels looking good on a phone.
