if u were not rping in 2012-13 i genuinely feel sorry for u. u missed so much. everybody was forced to tag their ooc posts but never their nsfw. nobody gave a shit abt underage smut. we all used the same gifs from the same gif hunts. nobody made their own shit. we all used these themes that everybody remembers but i can’t recall the name of. bios were in first person. threads were never cut. mobile rping was the norm. skype wasn’t a thing, only chatzy. there were no fancy tags, no formatting. it was an experience.

He glances down at the other and winces a little.

“I-It’s okay…I was just standing here…B-But I’m not a giant!!”

“I bet people don’t tease you about it though.” Horatio said, puffing his cheeks out as he took a step closer to Aki and tugged at the hem of his shirt while mumbling, “If only there was some kind of magic ritual so that we could even our heights out between us… Ah, well, nice to meet you, Aki!”

“I...I suppose I don’t get teased for my height....but I get teased ‘cause I’m clumsy and uncoordinated even though I’m tall! And I suck at sports...”

Aki resists the urge to take a step back, not too used to strangers being this close to him, so he settles for an awkward cough.

“I wouldn’t mind sharing a few inches, in all honesty...Ah, but it’s nice to meet you too, Horatio!”

“That’s an entire foot taller than me!” Horatio huffed and let himself fall back into a normal standing position, moving his hands to his own hips as he stared up at the taller male, “A glass a day?! Hmmm…” After a moment he held his hand out for a shake, “I’m Horatio.”

“I’m...uh...I’m sorry? It’s not that great, I hit my head on doorways a lot...”

His cheeks stay red and eyes flicker about, but he shakes the other boy’s hand nonetheless.

“I’m Akihiko, b-but you can call me Aki!”

He flushes under the hands patting at his cheeks and looks away, attempting to hide his embarrassment.

“I, uh....I dunno. A glass a day, I guess?”
