Broke out the Speed Graphic along with Ilford MGIV Paper, Harmen Direct Positive Paper and some classic Kodak Portra for this trip to Monument Valley. Yes, I did take some photos of the eclipse. I'll find out tomorrow if those came out. (at Monument Valley)

And so it begins... I drilled pilot holes to cut out the side panel on my Anvil case in order to convert it to a portable darkroom. Next step is to finish cutting the panel to size and fitting the inner and outer seals for arm holes. I decided on a magnetic arm hole plate for ease of removability and internal access. I'm cutting up a changing bag to use for arm seals so light doesn't get in. For now, this is a blind box and I won't see what happens inside. I plan to add a webcam to the mix and small monitor for viewing. This case will allow for 4x5 paper negatives and contact positives. It will have just enough room for 3 small 4x5 trays, 8x10 contact plate, small light, paper holder and light timer.
