“I’m glad you think so. It originally cost $79. My next performance is at 8:00 P.M. tomorrow night, can you make it by then to watch me sing?” Susie asked.

“You’re welcome! I just thought that if we are going to be stuck here, I might as well do something nice for everyone who are also stuck here on this island.” Veronica said.

“Wait, we are all stuck here? And we can’t go back home?” Susie asked.

“Alright, so I baked too many cupcakes, and I don’t know what to do with them. Would you like to take one of my cupcakes? They are free!” Veronica said to the nearest person that she could find.

Susie looked at the girl. “Wow, thanks! What made you want to bake so many cupcakes?” Susie asked as she takes a cupcake.

“Wow! That really was a good sale! It’s a pleasure to meet you too, Susie. I would like to hear you sing!” Evie said.

Susie smiled. “I guess it was a good sale. You would have to go to the entertainment stage at the theme park to hear me sing.” Susie said.

“You’re welcome! That’s great! My name is Evie. What’s your name?” Evie asked.

“The shoes only cost $24. My name is Susie Carmichael. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Evie. I’m one of the singers at the theme park,” Susie said.

“Oh my God.” Evie exclaimed when she saw the other one. “I really love your shoes!” And it was true, they were really cute.
